Excellent place to stay in Monterosso

There is train tracks very closed, didn’t bother us though.

Great base camp to explore Cinque Terre

Very well located. Close to everything in Monterosso but located in a quiet area. The train didn’t bother us at all, as the windows and walls blocked the noise very well. It is not an issue at all. The place was very clean, had all the amenities. Host was very nice and efficient and answered our messages very quickly. I really commend this place if you want to spend a few days in Cinque Terre. It is also easy to get to, not a lot of steps or stairs.

A bit on the pricier side but to be expected I think when you’re staying in one of the five villages.

We loved visiting the area .

Spotless and modern , friendly staff and thanks for the beach towels they were a nice touch .

When staying in accommodation I still think it’s important to be able to have a hot drink from cups and drink water or wine from glasses . It’s the second accommodation that we have stayed in that provides paper cups for all drinks . It’s a small thing but it makes a difference. Milk and water should be complementary for travellers . Cost nothing but is a nice thing to have .

Wonderful staff, clean and functional space, only down side is the train noise

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our entire stay! Alessandro went above and beyond to help with accommodations. The turn down service was excellent, and everything was exceptionally clean.

The only down side to our stay was the noise due to the proximity to the rail way. With any window open between 6am - 9pm there is a roar of trains every 15-20 minutes.

Relaxing and such a nice place!

They were so welcoming! It was so nice to have a large room and extra things like towels for the beach and they did a birthday surprise for my husband!! The location was only a 3 minute walk to the beach.

Good location in Monterosso, near beach and 5 min walk to the beautiful old town of Monterosso. Room was very clean and comfortable, nice bed. Appartment is very nice and the host was super friendly.

The appartment is next to the railway, trains are quite loud.

The owner Alessandro showed up as soon as we got there with a warm welcome and helpful recommendations. Our room was very clean and complete with everything we needed for our stay. We loved the cute garden area outside too!

Overrated

Location, cleanliness and brightness

Closest neighbor is the train… so noise from it is really loud, even after midnight… Double bed is two beds together, it’s not a problem if is used a topper to avoid the gap between them and in this apartment they don’t use… so it’s very uncomfortable to sleep in the middle of the ‘double bed’.

Great stay!

The apartment is very clean, renovated, and comfortable (very comfortable beds and pillows) and the location is great. Alessandro, the host, is extremely kind and hospitable. The apartment is very close to the train station, only a seven minute walk. There is some uphill walking towards the end, up to the property. Alessandro provides guests with beach towels.

There is no breakfast served, but we knew about this in advance. You can hear the sound of the train coming through every 20 minutes. The train stops between the hours of 1230 and four in the morning, so it’s not a big deal.

Fantastic! Everything was as expected and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Alessandro was a kind and excellent host and was on site to introduce us to the room and location. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the doors are very secure to prevent theft, which I appreciated. The location is up a hill on a slight incline, but it was to escape the crowds and noise from the main avenue. There is a nice little terrace with some cushioned chairs to sit on in the backyard. Air conditioning worked and was an huge advantage. I could not hear other guests in the neighboring rooms through the walls, which gave us a good sense of privacy. There was even a lock box/safe in our room. Overall, we had a wonderful time staying at Villino Wanda and would definitely stay here again!

The location next to the train tracks may be uncomfortable for some light sleepers. The train horn never blew, but you could hear the low rumble of the train as it went by. It wasn’t very disruptive to me though, and it sounded similar to an air conditioning unit turning on.

the hosts were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. The apartment was clean and 10-15 min walking distance to the older more touristy part of town. the apartment is located in a quieter are which is nice.

We spent lovely four days in Monterosso, everything was good, super nice and helpful host, clean room, comfortable bed, good location close to the beach, bars, restaurants.

Very close to the railways, gets loud when trains pass by. But after a few you kind of get used to the noice.

The room we had was exceptionally clean and was serviced every day with clean towels. There was air con. It was also modern looked like it had been recently renovated and the room was spacious. Lots of storage space. Perfect for the two of us. The owner also provided us with beach towels for our stay which was great and saved us buying them.

I wasn't expecting a big room and they gave us an apartment with kitchen, wash machine, drier, living room with tv. The location is perfect, far (but not that far) from the crowd. Very comfortable, shower is amazing.

Wifi is terrible. I needed to work from there and I basically used my phone data because the wifi it was impossible to use it.

Exceptional

The location was perfect. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The terrace and garden overlooked the amazing scenery and views. This apartment was very well equipped with everything we needed and was most comfortable I would definitely recommend this property to anyone. It was the perfect stay for our last night of our amazing holiday in beautiful Italy. . We will definitely be back!
