Great location. Good value. Parking . Excellent restaurants on the doorstep
Bedding was a bit heavy in a heatwave

Very close to the tram. We stayed overnight and on the Saturday morning, we woke up to a market on the street close by. Across the street from a Boston Tea party where we had breakfast and across from a big Morrisons in case you need anything.
I think the place has great potential. The wallpaper and artwork are beautiful but the window netting seemed thin and had multiple rips in it. The bathroom is spacious and clean but the shower is weak.

Great location. Grand property. Lucky to get parking on the forecourt. Large rooms
Poor state or repair. Door handles and locks poor state of repair. Double suit room had a large hole in a window, poorly covered with duck tape and cardboard. My other room, a deluxe double had no shower wash in the dispenser. Doors have to be locked with a key from the outside when leaving.
Only staff available during stay was a clueless chef who tried to check us in with little English and no idea which rooms we had booked. I checked us in myself.

Location
Very tired, still looked like independent flats. Sash windows didn’t shut properly and the bathroom was ice cold.

It was in a lovely location with Edgbaston Village around the corner. We were able to park outside the property which was handy. The shower was hot and good power. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet.
Although the bedding was clean there were no pillow protectors or mattress protector. It was all very tired and pretty dirty. Paint work was shabby and dirty, peeling wallpaper, carpet was horribly stained and bathroom floor didn’t look very clean. Furniture was old and shabby (not chic!). Couldn’t get Tv to work and didn’t want to touch the controller as dirty!

Lovely period property in a great location for our visit to Edgbaston to watch the cricket.
We ate lunch in the restaurant and the food was fabulous.
Property needs a good spruce up. It’s very tired and could do with a lick of paint and generally a good clean. Our room was at the back of the property, but we were unable to open the window due to a private function being held, the music was really loud and went on until way past midnight. We should have been informed about this prior to our stay as this really disturbed our sleep. Also on return to the hotel we couldn’t get a drink in the bar as no one was around to serve us as they were all dealing with the private function.

Location
No staff, chef checked us in but didn’t really know what he was doing, not his fault. The place needs a serious overhaul haul, in desperate need of decoration
Everytime we went downstairs there were no staff there he seen

Nice building, good location, parking & spacious quiet room at the rear
Had to wait until could find staff to check-in, staff didn't seem organised, overall condition of hotel is a tired, both in public spaces, corridors and the room itself. No one found to serve at bar so left and went to the pub. It's similar price to the Marriott, Park Regis but doesn't offer anything close to the service or facilities, judged on this the Blue Piano is overpriced.

Bed was good, size of room and bathroom ample, liked having shower and bath option. All clean and tidy. Bar area and dining room
nice ambiance. Lovely big window and high ceilings. Events on some evenings but unfortunately not during my stay. Nice little sun trap garden to sit and have a drink or food. Super location with ample transport links.
Cold tap in sink didn’t work, so used bath tap for filling kettle. couldn’t get tv to work, but didn’t worry me as had laptop with me. Wi-Fi would connect on only one device it seemed. No breakfast included, but Boston Tea Party open from 8.30 just across the road.

Great location just out of centre. Easy to find.
Good size room.
That we booked with breakfast included and there was none. They'd stop doing it in January. Think we should have been told. We therefore ended up having to buy it out.

The staff were super friendly and the location was excellent. We had a meal on our first evening which was superb, authentic SE Asian flavours.
A birthday party booking on our last night was very noisy just below our room, but did at least close down at 11.30pm.

The location was good, staff friendly. We had a problem with the bedside lights - none worked. They brought us new ones quite quickly.
The breakfast was disappointing. We asked for tea and got half a cup each, we should have received a pot. The milk was in a very tall vase-type thing and was shared between the whole dining room and was so full that you couldn't help but spill milk when pouring. There was a very poor selection of cheap packet meat which hadn't been displayed well and no serving implements were provided. The toaster was not plugged in, bread very cheap.
