The experience was just average. The room was cold and had an oil heater in the room which didn’t really help. The breakfast options were average and the chef kept roving around us which was a little uncomfortable.

Rooms was poor, old and dated. Heating didn’t work, kept coming with a fault and had to keep resetting the aircon unit. Beds was like sleeping on plastic including the pillows.

Very nice position, everything very close. Central without the fuss.

Very cold rooms, the windows weren't double glazed, the heating very poor. Had to ask for extra 2 heating devices. The bathroom didn't have any heating device, had to have the door openall the time to have some temperature. The water pressure in the shower was very weak. Very poor breakfast and cold. The mattress was very bad and they've put some addition to make it a little better. Nit very successful. In general I was very disappointed. It wasn't my first time at this hotel. It will be the last though.

Advertise as pet-friendly however your policies don’t live up to this. You welcome well behaved dogs to stay, however they can’t go anywhere but the bedroom. Therefore we had to eat separately as a family at breakfast. Not good enough!

Location. Breakfast was nice.

Strange smell in room & corridor. Pillows were terrible, went flat as soon as we put our head on it. Shower did not get hot. Lighting was quite poor in the room, could not see to get ready properly. Restaurant was closed for refurbishment from 2pm which we were not told prior to our stay, so ended up costing us extra money to get taxi to & from an external restaurant.

Room was quite dirty with cashew nuts on the floor from previous occupant Only one towel in the bathroom and couldn’t find any more until reception said there were more in the wardrobe. As we were only there for one night we didn’t need to use the wardrobe so didn’t see there were more towels in there.

A well located hotel but has a feel that costs are being tightly controlled.

The hotel was conveniently located for the city centre and Edgbaston. The room was comfortable.

The staff were pleasant enough but the maid threw the few possessions we had left on the bed onto the floor and left them there. The room had a coffee machine but no coffee. There was one small carton of water between two of us.

A convenient city hotel

The room was a reasonable size and clean. Breakfast had variety and was enjoyed by all. Location was good for where we needed to go and parking was easy.

The shower was over the bath and had a handrail making the space somewhat narrow which was a shame. We also had an evening meal as didn't really want to take the car out in the evening, the food wasn't great and was fairly pricey for what it was

Got charged for parking when I didn’t even park. I was presented a screen and naturally put my reg in, I didn’t think as I was tired . I didn’t even have my car . When raised with the hotel, they said there is no refund. Because I pressed a button. For the sake of £15 the hotel, did not want to refund . I was just there for a short time, waiting for our lift to come. Was a place where we could freshen up , eat and go. Thought it is a decent hotel, so I’ve would just stay there for the short time. Toilet was blocked , the sticky toffee pudding was stale , fish and chips was okay. It wasn’t an issue, but I am unhappy about the lack of effort to refund for a parking charge, that I didn’t even use .

We had a wonderful stay at Delta Hotels by Marriott in Birmingham! The staff were exceptionally kind and professional — they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We arrived before the official check-in time, and they kindly allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel so we could explore the city without any worries. The same courtesy was extended after check-out, which made our last day in Birmingham so much easier and more enjoyable. The hotel was extremely clean — everything felt fresh and well maintained. Our room was spotless, cozy, and beautifully arranged. The overall service was excellent from start to finish, and the hotel’s location is very convenient — close to the city center but peaceful and relaxing inside. We were really pleased with the level of hospitality and care we received. I highly recommend Delta Hotels by Marriott Birmingham and would definitely stay here again!

I honestly liked everything about our stay! The only small improvements I would suggest are adding a mini fridge and disposable slippers in the room. There were no power sockets next to the bed, and it wasn’t possible to connect a phone to the TV, but these were just minor details that didn’t affect our experience at all. Everything else was absolutely wonderful — we had an amazing stay! 🌟

You can’t beat a Marriott Hotel

I booked this hotel for my daughter and her friend who were attending a house party nearby. We’re Marriott Bonvoy members and I always book a Marriott hotel if one is available. The hotel staff in Birmingham couldn’t have been more helpful. They gave them late checkout and were there to open up the doors and let them back in the hotel when they rocked up in the early hours of the morning. The room according to my daughter was very luxurious and she and her friend had a great time. The hotel couldn’t have been more accommodating. You can’t beat a Marriott!!

It was a good stay but expensive looking at the services they provide.

The room was spacious but didn't have much facilities. The beds were comfortable. There was no fridge and the shower was just overhead without any handheld device to use and was properly. The breakfast was good but quite expensive for the choices available for the buffet

The choice of food for the evening was very limited and we ordered a raspberry cocktail but was told there was no raspberries and so the bar man had used blueberries instead which was fair, however it looked like water with just some lemons put it. Really bad

Great hotel.

Stayed at the Delta Hotel for the weekend, it was very good, superb location for the event we were attending. The reception staff were all very pleasant and welcoming, the room was spacious, large bathroom, tea/coffee facilities, fridge. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and well stocked. The staff go above and beyond to help you. This is our go to hotel whenever we stay in Birmingham.

Unfortunately the restaurant was not available for guests on one of our nights but we were not informed of this it would have been nice to have been told about this before hand.

Great location, poor breakfast, hidden charges on arrival and expensive parking

The building was outstanding to look at, the room was ok, as were the beds. The bathroom felt dated and the breakfast was very dissapointing, to think the hotel charges £6+ for this is pretty ridiculous

Breakfast food was very poor quality. I would have expected better from a 4* hotel. Also I didn't expect to pay so much for parking, considering the cost of the room I booked this should really have been included.
