Location and being able to get two double beds in one room

Better hoover under bed needed.

Lovely building, Amazing room featuring lots of windows, huge bathroom, comfortable bed, good TV sofa & fridge. Wish knew about swimming pool as would’ve brought swimwear Great breakfast.

Clean property - good location.

The cost cutting measures were too obvious. One mini wrapped chocolate coin for two guests, one small pack of water for two guests, tiniest of biscuits. A notice saying ‘room service is on alternate days’. You don’t expect these in a hotel with the Marriot Brand attached to it. Staff shortage noticeable everywhere. One person at a busy front desk - two members of staff running to manage the busy breakfast time. I have stayed in multiple Marriot properties across two different continents - this was the most forgettable stay of my life.

Only good thing was the room being spacious

Arrived early (around 20mins) and had to wait until 3pm to check in (other hotels would have rooms available if arrived early). Checked in etc and when entered the room, had to scan a QR code to work the AC. It took 6hrs for the room to cool down. Had to call the reception and someone came. Offered a fan but wasn't given this? Not ideal when it's really hot outside. The bathroom is very old and tired. In need of a revamp. The blind was broken and no ventilation. The shower head was a standard one. Not detachable. During the evening, 2 flies came to visit our room and were hovering around.
