Would stay again but would review my comfort / room options.

I liked how it was located close to entertainment and some local shops. I liked how I could park my car and how it felt secure.

I thought the food in the restaurant was overcooked and dry, and expensive for what it was. The bed was very uncomfortable and the TV wouldn’t let me play my Nintendo switch. There was a link to a website when I plugged my HDMI cable in and the website wasn’t working. In other hotels I just plug it in and I’m able to play straight away. The Wi-Fi in the hotel was poor. I used my own internet on a data sim.

Not terrible

Perfect location with all amenities in walking distance Great transport links especially with tram running until late at night. Restrants nearby you never go hungry. The hotel inside has a peaceful vibe The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble Beds are comfortable Check out time is perfect

The steam room is always out of service ive been 3 times and in all those the steam room hasnt been working. You pay for an upgrade which should include bathrobe and slippers but you dont get bathrobe and slippers? That has happened on two occasions now and in conclusion the upgrade isnt worth the extra costs. Breakfast isnt the best. The sauna is only between 7 and 10 the timings are silly All undesirables hang around outside which is off putting if you are a woman on your own they should privatise a smokers area.

A great value stay in a modern, clean hotel with a great location for the city centre - with secure parking

Lovely hotel, very modern and well presented upon arrival. Bar / restaurant looked very nice. Friendly, helpful staff. Added bonus of a secure car park underneath the building (chargeable upon exit) Room very very spacious and clean. Location was great, plenty of places to eat nearby and bars and only a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Birmingham - perfect for our trip to the theatre (The Alexandra) - I would recommend & definitely stay again! Thank you Novotel!

We only had one bath towel in our room - which was quickly resolved by the helpful reception staff. The kettle in our room had some strange brown marks inside- I did manage to scrap off, but it put me off using the kettle! Apart from that everything else was perfect and I would definitely book again!

Stains on the carpet. Room too hot, as someone turned the thermostat up to 30. Not sure if it was staff or previous guest. (staff brought me a fan so it did cool down eventually). Toilet separate from bathroom.

My stay at the hotel

Staff friendly & very accommodating

I booked a double & relised in the night when my partner fell through the bed that it was 2 singles joined together....however we asked for late check out for the inconvenience & this was given to us

Good hotel in a central location but quite expensive for what you get.

We were attending a concert at the Utilita arena and the hotel was only a 8 minute walk away. The room was clean, I found the bed comfortable although my husband found the mattress a bit firm. It was useful to be able to park the car in the underground hotel car park although it isn’t big so you couldn’t guarantee getting a space. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The location was central but unfortunately this meant that there was a lot of noise from outside. We could hear cars hooting and other noises until 4am. We also felt that it was expensive for a fairly standard hotel. You did also have to pay an extra £18 for the parking.

This was my second stay at this hotel and the first for my partner. He was impressed the moment he walked in. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Birmingham. Such a convenient location to bars, shops etc. Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff are polite and friendly.

Convenient but noisy

Easy to find with parking underneath, staff were very helpful and knowledgeable of the area.

Very noisy inside and outside the hotel, sirens and car horns going off regularly through the night and people shouting in corridor. Fire alarm went off at 7am after not a very good nights sleep, but went off after about 30 seconds so not impressed

Lovely hotel, great location. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Check in was very quick. All the staff we encountered were polite, professional and friendly.

Nice hotel, but timing for the building work.

Very clean modern

Building/ maintainance work, being done outside room at 8am. When still asleep. Drilling and banging. Plus I paid £26 for car park and had a sink waste pipe leaked on my car leaving a nasty mess for me to pay to get cleaned. Reported to reception but no contact from manager yet to compensate for the costs I endured

Staff were great very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely a lot of choice. Hotel clean and tidy.

The room seemed really dark and dingy, even with all of the lights on. Clearly a room for the less able. Emergency cords everywhere, chair in the shower, and shower positioned at my shoulders. I was told my room was apparently an upgrade. If I was staying more than one night, I would have asked for a room change.

It was good however due to noise issue not sure we would return.

Location was great and hotel was lovely. Staff fantastic. Room had everything we needed. TV large which was a great bonus.

Lighting in room was very poor. Noise from area very loud even with windows closed and on 6th floor. I know we picked a hotel in nightlife area but wouldn't expect it to be so loud it disrupted sleep.

On the advertisement it said 20 minutes around approximately from New station to walk to the hotel it wasn’t it would’ve been a lot more and impossible for me to walk so I had to get a taxi so that was disappointing but it was very handy for the symphony hall where I was going in the evening

Good location near Brindley Place and city centre.

Very noisy at night from road and surrounding bars/clubs. Rooms very stuffy, unable to open windows for fresh air. Beds and pillows hard and lumpy.
