Everything was excellent. The location is perfect, very central and close to everything. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was great.

Fantastic Birmingham City centre stay

The hotel is in a great location and the car park is an excellent benefit. The room was very clean and comfortable, the bed was a dream and I had a great night's sleep. The shower was lovely with great water pressure. Breakfast was lovely too. It offered less choice than some bigger hotels but the quality was much better. Staff were friendly.

The only thing I would suggest is the addition of somewhere to place personal toiletries/soap bar in the shower- due to sensitivities I chose not to use the body wash supplied in the shower.

Well rested, well fed and well entertained with plenty to do and see.

Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of choice. Hotel location was ideal for getting around the city. The shower in the room was grea and the bed was comfy enough.

The room was dark with very little natural light. The room window looked out to the side of a rooftop, so absolutely no view. It felt like a prison cell.

The location is perfect. Decent price and clean and comfortable. Like the availability of ice machine and tea and coffee machine in reception.

The bathroom lock was broken, the lighting in the bedroom was terrible. The carpet on the entrance to the door looked very worn.

Good location and secure parking

Heating unit was damaged, air conditioning did not work, taps were loose , the towels had chewing gum on one of the hand towels. On arrival we couldn't enter the carpark as no one was answering the intercom, we had to ring the hotel to get them to raise the barrier. However the girl on Friday night was really helpful even though she was on her own.

The Ibis Styl exceeded our expectations and was great value for money.

The hotel was in a perfect location for our visit to the NIA. The room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was very good and included in the price. Excellent value for a one night stay.

Overall it was good.

The staff were very respectful and the hotel was clean. The internet antenna and free Wi-Fi were good.

I had to change rooms once because the heater broke down. The second room also got very cold, considering that they had set the heater temperature themselves and it was locked in the automatic mode, and I really caught a cold that night. The hair dryer was also broken. Although the staff immediately brought me another hair dryer, it would be better to respect the passenger's time by checking and repairing the equipment first and then making the room available to the passenger.

Only downfall was some of the cooked foods at breakfast time tasted as though they were yesterdays warmed up. Didnt taste fresh. Hash browns were chewy and the bacon was very hard and chewy. I will continue to return to the hotel but probably give the breakfast a miss

The location.

On arrival the man behind reception is not suited to the role. Miserable and unhelpful. The young lady was very pleasant, cheerful and helpful. The room was tatty with unpainted wall repairs and scruffy. Only one lift worked, it made a dreadful sound as if the belt was about to break. Not a pleasant light use. No comfortable seating to relax in downstairs. I’ve been using this hotel for many years. We will definitely look elsewhere.

We enjoyed our trip to the Birmingham Christmas Market - the hotel was the crowning glory!

The staff we encountered were all very friendly and polite. The choices for Breakfast were varied and plentiful. The free coffee machine was much appreciated.

Breakfast was lovely. Lots of choice, staff was helpful and always keeping an eye on the food to make sure it was full. I have been this hotel 3 times now and we cannot fault it.

The price of the parking. £45, we thought was very high. That is a price i would pay for a week. The lighting in the room was lacking. Bathroom lighting was great. By the window side we thought was a little dark.

Perfect location for concert goers.

Perfect location if you are visiting birmingham for a the utilita arena, literally a 5 minute walk away. Also very close to the city centre. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, I'd booked a family room and because there were 2 adults the sofabed had not been made up, the lady at reception changed our room without question and explained why the bed hadnt been made.

In the first room it had a weird toilet smell, it faded (or we went nose blind) after about 15 minutes but it wasn't pleasant initally. The lift also made a horrendous noise I felt for the staff who had to listen to it all day.

Staff were helpful and friendly. A lovely breakfast choice, well restocked on a busy morning and we loved the pancake machine. Comfy bed. Easy parking.

The bedroom could have done with another chair to sit in. It only had 1 chair at the desk which is not great for a room for 2. It seemed as though there was a light hanging where a table and chairs could have been

Fabulous stay

We arrived by coach from Bristol & literally got off & our hotel was right there, fabulous location for everything we needed. They offered to look after our cases as we were early staff so efficient. Check in was so easy, we went to our room & we weren't disappointed. Spacious & clean, bed was so comfy. We also had breakfast which was lovely, really good amount to choose from.
