Clean room with en-suite. Separate from the main building where you have breakfast, however the room was better value for money because of this.

Route to walk from checking in to the building where you sleep was in the dark and wasn't made clear on booking that this would be the case. People with mobility issues may have struggled with this aspect.

Great location, five minutes drive to University Station and Q E Hospital, staff very helpful.

Nice quiet location, room was a little dated, but was nice and clean, comfortable beds, had everything you needed. You can purchase breakfast and Evening Meals at main hotel across the road. Staff at both locations very helpful and Friendly.

Very clean, well presented room. Comfortable bed. I also had breakfast over at the main hotel. A large selection of well-prepared and appetising breakfast foods.

Close to event in the conference centre

Room was stuffy, our bathroom was a disabled access which didn't suit us, low sink etc. We decided not to shower here.

Once again overall enjoyed our stay

Someone had cleared all the pathways in the really snowy weather, this effort was well appreciated. We have stayed before and the property is a peaceful spot to stay and always very clean. The breakfast at the sister hotel is excellent.

The bathroom’s are starting to feel a little tired, and in the room we were allocated this time there was noise from the central heating pipes.

The location was good for my visit

I didn’t realise I had to walk across and down the road from Edgebaston park hotel to get to our accommodation. The room was clean and comfortable however the bathroom was very dated and small, also shower water didn’t drain away quickly.

I stay here fairly regularly, always clean, comfortable bed, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Great choice for breakfast.

Less expensive than hotel

For the price, the room was very basic and small. It’s like a converted dorm room. The property says it is wheelchair accessible and the room was accessible but very tight on space. There is not an accessible pathway or pavement from the guest house to the hotel check-in so had to cross a busy street with traffic going 30-40 mph and roll on the side of the street which was uneven and had potholes. It was dark and rainy when we checked in so when rolling on the side of the street, I almost tipped over in my chair when rolling over a puddle and there was a pothole in it.

I recommend if you're staying in Birmingham.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is always comfortable, we've travelled there many times before. It's convenient with parking and only 5 minutes away from the centre.

I mean, there's nothing that I didn't really like about the hotel. Improvements they could make are: - Longer checkout times (rather than 10 o'clock) - Very good breakfast. Only minor point is different alternative meat options.

Great value in an ideal location which suited our needs.

The location was superb and to out liking. The room met our expectations and was very clean. The breakfast was very good value and the staff were extremely helpful to my partner who is a coeliac. Nothing was too much trouble.

The only downside was the heating pipes being noisy when we tried to go to sleep. This kept us both awake for some time and was very frustrating.

The hotel was smelly. It was full of people asleep on the sofas inside the hotel We was given a twin room when booked a double room. Was very very unhappy! Could not wait to leave

Shower very dated and tricky for tall people - needs renovation parking costs at Peter Scott house ridiculous- should be the same as the Conference centre- ie) free to guests. We had to keep going back and forth between our sons accommodation and his work place and dropping the car over the road and then walking back over the main road - which was a hassle.

Very convenient for visitors to B'ham uni.

Friendly staff and convenient as overflow to main hotel as I was late booking for a conference.

Room 203 shower needs plunging. I guess cleaners don't check for this - I wouldn't - but might apply to other rooms too. I'd suggest you police the car charging spaces as half were blocked by cars not charging or pretending to but not. They should be fined or a direct note left on their windscreen making this clear and applying shame.

Cheap but not cheerful

Quiet location

The room was very hot and stuffy with no ability to adjust heat and the window only opened slightly. There was only 1 towel for 2 of us and insufficient tea/coffee etc. The pillows were very uncomfortable and the heat and poor pillow made it impossible to sleep. The bathroom sink plug was broken

Breakfast is always good, and staff very friendly. Location suits me for my clinics at the QEH.

Pillows a bit flat, and had to be careful not to fall down the gap with 2 single beds pushed together but otherwise everything was fine. Lovely power shower.

Property was clean, bathroom slightly outdated however all facilities still worked with a good shower. Good location right next to the unit

One thing to note is they don’t provide you with the exact room you select. I selected a room with a double bed and instead got a twin room and the two beds didn’t stay in place so was pretty much a twin bed for the night. The car park right outside peter scott house I also not free parking, the actual free parking area is across the road at the Edgbaston Hotel
