Overall very good but for the two issues that arose.

Overall it was a very good stay. The staff were polite, helpful and had a smile for you. Angela's welcome was lovely. The hotel itself is very nice and I'd recommend it.

1. I found hair on the toilet seat. 2. I ordered room service and after about 40 minutes I was called back to say the item that I ordered wasn't available and DID I MEAN to order something else! A couple of hours later we requested something else and was told that it wasn't served at that time.

Lovely apartment with very well provisioned kitchen

Fully furnished apartment had everything we needed

Could not park outside the apartment as car park privately owned and no agreement in place for guests.

Friendly, clean hotel with great accessible room and facilities.

The accessible room was a good size with lots of space to manoeuvre the wheelchair. We liked the large bed, the hotel aesthetic and breakfast was very good.

Good location, dog friendly and quiet at weekends, ideal for us.

Good location, the campus is very quiet as we use this hotel during weekends and holiday periods so we can walk around freely. Good restaurants nearby in Harborne. We need a dog friendly room so this hotel works for us

Edgbaston Park Hotel Birmingham- Comfortable and Cared for

The welcome and attention to detail of the reception.front office staff. The information was precise,clear on how to use the login for the car park,park safely becuse of Snow on the second night. They deserve recognition and be rewarded during their appraisal. Room was available in time, with all ameneties as described available. We applaud the hotels effort for sustainable hospitality care.

The marks on the walls indicated the rooms were extensively used may need a coat of paint. The bed linen had some tell tale signs of being over used. We did not use the Hotel towels as we carry our own.

Room 10 sink was cracked right across the bowl, this should be replaced as it's broken and a 4 star hotel should not have broken sinks.

Location as it was close to work conference.

I was not able to sleep after a tiring training day, as there was a party that went on until after midnight.I think the hotel should inform guests before their arrival about organised events that involve loud music until late at night so they could have an option to book somewhere else.I was not offered the option to switch rooms when asked at reception.Reception and bar staff lack the minimum hospitality skills, you do not feel welcomed at all.

a comfy stay, anda convenient location

The location is perfect for visiting our daughter at the Uni. The beds are very comfortable, good shower and a good selection at breakfast.

the rooms are starting to look in need of a refurb, lots of marks on walls of bedroom. At breakfast the gluten free items are often under the same heated covers as food containg gluten/cereals, so cross contamnation is an issue. Coffee from breakfast machines isn't good.

Not to good for wheelchair users.

Room was clean

Kitchen was slow and food was poor. More importantly, my wife is a wheelchair user. Along the corridors are a serious of heavy doors. These doors are opened by pushing a button on the wall and pulling the door open. This cannot be done sitting in a wheelchair. The door should open automatically, not manually. In a wheelchair it is very difficult.

Very comfortable modern hotel on University of Birmingham campus

The rooms are very comfortable with a soft bed, a nice powerful shower and very well stocked tea/coffee facilities. The hotel itself is also nicely modern and ideally positioned on the university campus, making it perfect for families who might be visiting a student.

There was a mechanical buzzing from somewhere which continued indefinitely even with all fans/heating off; when wearing earbuds it didn't impact my sleep however. The TV system is very flaky, some channels do not work at all, and when changing channel it would always default back to the first channel in the list.

Perfect for conferences! Very nice hotel! Staff are amazing! The room had an IRON and an Ironing Board!

1. The complimentary biscuit pack appeared old and slightly stale, with one pack already opened. 2. The desk surface had not been properly cleaned, as there were a few food crumbs visible. That said, I have stayed at this property before and my previous experience was excellent — the room was spotless and well-maintained.

Location is just right. Away from the centre but not too far away. Walkable if you are so inclined. Parking is secure. The hotel itself is spacious, airy and well appointed and our room was modern, light, a good size and has a big mirror for easy grooming.

Friendly, modern and clean. Good value for money.

Friendly staff all spoke to us even the support staff. The room was clean and a good selection of teas and coffees to make in the room. Breakfast was great value and a good selection from cooked items to fruit and meats. The coffee was good too. At the end of service take-away cups were available which was a nice touch.

My only disappointment - there was no fridge in the room.

Delightful place to stay - ordinary place to eat

The staff were very friendly and helpful, so we felt welcome. The room was superb. It was a decent size and had everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable. We were particularly impressed with the large mirror and the fact that there were two chairs. We didn't have breakfast so we can't comment on that.

We had a meal in the 1900 bar. The food was OK but ordinary pub-type grub so perhaps a bit overpriced? The service was terrible. We waited a long time for our mains but an absolute age for pudding. No doubt the restaurant would have been better. In the end we had to ask whether we had been forgotten and the barman said the system broke down because he hadn't told the kitchen that he had cleared the main course - so they thought we didn't want our pudding!! The tables weren't wiped down between diners so were sticky.

Excellent place to stay for working at the University.

Slightly disappointed in the standard of meals. I think the kitchen maybe tries too hard. And limited vegetarian choices. Best to keep it simple!
