Great location, good facilities and a good sized room! Everything you need in the room, even ear plugs…which were brilliant!! A lovely touch of a card, chocolate and a mini Prosecco in my son’s room as it was his 21st birthday!

Room was a little bit grubby, fridge didn’t work and there was only one chair in our room by the table(double room) so had to eat on the bed!!Breakfast wasn’t great, not really worth the money!

The stay was pleasant.

The location was good for where we wanted to go. The room was big and quiet, the view was pretty at night and the check out time was very reasonable.

The room was really dusty, dust all over the lamps and the complimentary pad and pencil in the room was even covered in dust.

Excellent - will be coming back again!

I almost never write reviews but I loved my stay. Had almost everything needed, spacious room and there was a convenience store right next to the hotel. Staff were incredibly friendly. I was worried the bathroom wouldn’t look so good due the photos on the site - I was wrong! There was space, sanitary bags and clean tiles.

Everything was perfect I’d just say , no toothpaste! Had all the important bits plus non essentials like a cooler , iron board but not mini toothpaste. The beds are quite spacious which is lovely but they are quite short both of us who stayed here a 5’6/6’0 and we managed but I’d recommend to still be cautious if you’re tall.

Location is perfect. View from our 16th story room was fantastic. Room service was good.

Carpet in our room was stained. No robes - had to ask for them. Bar wasn't open at the specified times - we arrived early and thought we'd wait in the bar, but it wasn't open until check-in time (though online and in-hotel media system that it was). Tea/coffee wasn't replenished every day.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at the Radisson Blu Birmingham. Unfortunately, a number of issues made the stay far below the standard I have consistently experienced at Radisson hotels both in the UK and abroad. I stayed in Room, which was extremely cold on arrival. The heater controls did not work, and when we contacted reception to report this, we were told someone would call us back. Instead, over an hour later—and after we had finally managed to get to sleep—we were woken by a phone call asking if we needed a heater. This was both disruptive and frustrating. In addition to this, the room itself was tired and in need of maintenance. The USB plugs were broken, and the bathroom door handle came off in my hand from the inside, which could have caused a safety issue. The provided bathroom amenities were also incomplete, with only shampoo available and no body wash. The most concerning incident, however, occurred when the fire alarm sounded at 1 a.m. When I went downstairs, there were no staff visible anywhere to offer guidance or reassurance. I ultimately had to ask a firefighter whether there was an actual fire, which was both worrying and unacceptable from a guest safety standpoint. I have stayed at many Radisson properties over the years, and this experience did not reflect the level of quality and professionalism I expect from the brand.

I was charged 5 pounds to bring food to room, I was also told that parking is free for disabled persons. When I got to hotel they told me it’s 30 to park at front of hotel

Great stay

Amazing! Very nice hotel, very accommodating to my disability. I was given an accessible room which was perfect — the shower chair was very useful. The staff were always helpful, from the front office helping with my things to the room service keeping everything tidy. It was right by my venue too, so very convenient. Thank you!

Great location. We’ve stayed many times before but haven’t for a while and weren’t sure what to expect. It was great. Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was fabulous- large room with great city views. Everything worked well which seems to be quite unusual these days

Reasonable hotel in terms of comfort and location

Bed was extremely comfortable and room a very good size. I did not take breakfast so cannot comment. Location is very close to New Street Station, with China Town a short walk away.

Carpets in the room were showing their age, as in 'well used', although they were clean. Shower over bath tup had a small detachable shower head and weak flow; I would have expected a 'walk in' shower. Also, I was a little surprised that the hotel took a £50 security deposit? I've not encountered this at other hotels where I've stayed in Birmingham. The deposit is debited immediately and upon check-out I was advised it would be returned within 3 - 5 days? It seem a little rich that the hotel took the deposit immediately, but I would have to wait for the refund. However, overall the hotel was perfectly acceptable for my short stay.

Weekend Anniversary Break

The room was clean and Spacious. A great view of the city during the day and at night. Hotel allowed for early check-in and the hotel provided us a complimentary drink and chocolate for our anniversary weekend. The location is incredible too, for us a 5 minute walk from Birmingham New Street Train station.

Pleasant, and good value for money

Excellent location, very friendly staff. Really good selection for breakfast, decent sausages and it was all hot!

Disappointed that the restaurant wasn't open in the evening, with no pre warning it wouldn't be. Considering it was August Bank Holiday weekend I really would have expected it to be open!!
