Great room
Was told that there was an issue with the door and entry but was solved shortly after. No hot water

Excellent facilities and nice location
Staff working fully remotely
9.0 / 10.0
The room was a good size, had everything required for my trip and there is a secure car park at teh rear of the property which is a huge bonus for the region.
The bathroom and shower were great and there was a good size desk for working.
The only improvement I would suggest is the ability to integrate with next door's coffee shop through a simple app/interface to allow you to book a breakfast / drink. With no breakfast facilities on offer, this would be a great addition.

The property is located in a lovely area.
Simple check in, room decorated lovely, clean, good facilities and free car park

The location was quite good
The instructions for access - there are no on site staff confused me. Not just me, my room was on the ground floor near the entrance and I heard two other people turn up and make calls along the lines of ‘ok, I’m inside but how do i get access to my room
The to did not work, and the shower flooded the bathroom floor

Nothing negative to say.
Just a side note that the shower head was leaking whilst running the bath, created a bit of a puddle on the floor! But a perfect stay nonetheless

I didn’t like the customer service

My husband loved the decor, comfortable furnishings and the tea/coffee provided.
Made booking for my husband to stay close to hospital where I was an in-patient. We are both seniors and struggle a little with all this remote technology/door codes stuff. He also has mobility limitations. His door code didn't work for his attic bedroom and had to phone the contact given. Eventually they found the correct number.

The first room was beautiful unfortunately it didn’t have heating
We were moved to a different room that was awful tv on a side wall so unable to watch it properly, had to move bed to be able to watch it leftover rose petal and dirt by the bed. It was an accessible room which i didn’t book as I didn’t like the layout the shower had no screen so on showered the whole of the bathroom ended up covered in water, housekeeping were very noisy in the morning and woke us up.

The price was high, given no breakfast and definitely no access before 15:00

Very comfortable bed.
We didn’t receive an email with checking in codes, it took 2 phone calls to the 24 he receptionist to reach someone, once we did the lady we spoke to was very helpful. The place feels soulless with no staff, very impersonal. States mineral water will be provided, there were 2 bottles with rubber tops filled with tap water. Bed was clean but the bathroom and rest of room had been cleaned but not very well. I wouldn’t stay again.

Very pretty decorated nicely
There was dust in the bed side tables, lamps and counters. I had to call the staff for access and it took them a while to find the u formation: this was a little disorganised

It looked very luxurious on first arrival .
But looking round we found very dirty picture and frame..it was disgusting. Floor was very dusty the windows in my bathroom had several dead insects on frames. More English tea and teapot would be nice xxx i

I loved how secure the place was and the 1920s theme throughout. The staff answered straight away, both times I reached out 😁.
The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and spacious. We booked out two rooms and they both had roll top baths and lovely rainfall showers 🥰.
Despite there not having options for breakfast facilities in the building itself, there is a lovely patisserie next door called ‘cake and culture’ which we went to. (Food and staff are lovely there also!)
Edgbaston itself is a lovely location, I love the Regancy era houses (like Egbaston House). There’s a lovely pub called the physician at the top of the road and Birmingham city centre is only a 5-10 ride in an uber if you’re wanting to go out.
I was a little apprehensive about our trip due to the low star reviews prior to our arrival but we loved it and our stay was faultless, my parents had said to me countless of times. “You’ve picked a good one here!!” And also commenting how amazing Egbaston house is. We would 100% come here again!
Nothing.

Location but that’s it!!
From booking the room very little too no communication had to call the out of hours on arrival to find out room number and access codes.
Dodgy people hanging around in the car park made my wife feel uncomfortable
Very substandard room dirty carpet fixtures that do not work marks in the bath and cold water in bath and shower! Duvet was thin and didn’t keep you warm and the sound if the heating/aircon kept us up most of the night!
Definitely not worth the £270 a night we paid !

Cant say about the breakfast we ate across the Road, but for £55.50 per person per night simply wonderful
No complaints

the location is lovely , good parking etc but the no staff situation is strange and we had trouble with check in and had to call but had trouble getting hold of anyone
The rooms feel a bit tired, no staff to ask for assistance , check in didn't work very well until we got hold of someone on the phone , I could hear the boiler / heating making noises all night and the toilet in our room kept filling

The property was nice and looked great
We had paid for a deluxe double for a special occassion and was put in a disabled access room at the front of the property. The remote control for the television didnt work and there was a contant noice coming from the heating system. Be mindful that if you have a groundfooor front room there is a running club that starts outside the hotel at 7am so its pretty noisey.

Beautiful room & bathroom, very tastefully decorated
On site parking
Had a problem checking in as key card machine not working. Also tv in room did not work. Didn’t like that there are no staff on site to remedy any problems.

Very nice property shame about no staff on site as the booking in console was broken

Good quiet location at night and was great to have the free parking. Room was spacious and bathroom was amazing - huge, clean and underfloor heating!
The only thing that let it down was the mattress, it was dipped in the middle so felt like sleeping on a slope all night...

The check in machine not working to get the key code, and when I tried to call I couldn’t get a response, but someone called me back 30 mins later

Beautiful interior, great decor, bad was large and very comfortable, my room was split level, the bathroom had a roll top bath. Coffee and tea making facilitries, and a good sized TV. Nice towels and robes too.
My only gripe was the body was and moisturiser we’re badly depleted and needed to be topped up.

The bathroom
Being on the ground floor and in a room near the main front door, was not ideal as it was noisy due to guests going in and out of the hotel, slamming the front door, speaking loudly.

Very expensive for type of hotel
We paid £224 for a one might stay. No staff..

The room was well equipped, nicely decorated and the bed very comfortable. I didn’t like having no staff, although the home line made it easy to get in touch. The “check in” machine was broken so had to call to locate my room key. For the price breakfast could have been included. It would be nice to be greeted by a face rather than a screen.

Beautiful room, detailed directions to access the property, easy parking etc.
Strange green light in the ceiling that stayed on all night making room very bright.

There are no food facilities here. Tea,coffee biscuits in the room. Also a small fridge. The room was very clean and comfortable. I had an excellent night's sleep. There is no reception here so was a little concerned about self check in but all went well. Short taxi ride from city centre .

Nice room, good shower and bed.
Check in did not work. Cards could not be printed. Couldn’t figure out heating and lack of fresh air.
