It’s only staying two nights and nice to have friendly staff and can spent nice time at the bar

I really enjoyed it, not overly picky but can see how some would complain about the decor.

Breakfast was lovely and so where the staff there.

The beds were cheaply bought and thrown together, the bedding was questionable and the overall decor was run down and needs updating.

Really family friendly hotel, staff pleasant, excellent location.

2nd time staying at The Danescourt with my family, 2 x adults 3 x children and honestly wouldn’t stay any where else. Love the safety of the doors being locked:- key access to residents only so the children could play about in the little games room and pool table. The little bar on site is also a lovely benefit for families. I asked for a fan for our room as well as very hot:- got one immediately.

I wouldn’t say Disliked is the correct word but the family room we stayed in first time compared to this years was a lot bigger. Also the bar was closed quite early on the Saturday night and no lights on, we came back about 10pm with food and had to eat it in the dark on the tables.. we had left to come back to the hotel for drinks.

It's okay if you get a cheap price.

Good location to the pier, and fair, and sandcastle, for the kids. Parking very close by. Beds very comfortable. Clean.

Bit outdated, but I can't moan for the price we got it at. Staff looked a bit fed up, so it didn't feel too welcoming. Didn't have bedside table. Kept hitting our heads on the light attached to the headboard

Excellent value for money

How close it is to south shore and the trams for getting elsewhere

Stairs up to the top were difficult for me (I have mobility issues) however the children loved being up at the top Thank you

Embarrassing, Dangerous we wanted to just go home.

The property needed a big overhaul, It was embarrassing pulling up to the back of the property after a long drive and having to climb onto a beer barrel to get through the back entrance, as there were no steps to the property..

Everything was wrong. Beds were uncomfortable, pillows were dirty and stained, the floor in the bathroom was dangerously unstable as there was a warning notice on the wall stating not to overfill bath as imminent floor collapse will occur.

Greasey breakfast and bad mattress

Mattress was terrible. worse nights sleep in a long time. the breakfast was just a plate of grease, cheapest sausages ever then deep fried. all of it just grease and not edible for me

Nice hotel,good value for money

The room had everything we needed and more. Very spacious even as a family room. A double bed and bunk bed, bedding was cute ( white and pink). Little handing rail was a nice touch too. Plenty of towels and lovely and warm. Breakfast was nice

Dust under the double bed. The fact its three hotels in one was confusing, didn't seem like enough staff. The parking was very cramped. Was waiting awhile for breakfast, (we came in before another table and was left waiting for a long time) kids where getting restless.

Fantastic location and very nice stay

It was a great property to stay in. The family room was a good size and the arcade room downstairs for the kids was a great idea.

The only thing I would say is it needs an update as far as decor and furnishings go it’s a wee but tired looking.

Enjoyable

Brilliant location really close to south pier, no noise from outside at all. Staff happy and friendly always there to help. Bed was a little small for 2 adults but very comfortable.

Tv was above double bed so had to sit over on single bed but we didn’t really watch it properly as was out and about

The staff were amazing and very friendly and welcoming. The location was good for pleasure beach, Sandcastle water park and South pier.

The bed was the most uncomfortable thin mattress we have ever laid on. The pillows were flat with no filling at all. There was rubbish and cigarettes thrown all over outside the hotel door in the seating area. Mostly down to other guests that couldn't be bothered to tidy up after themselves. Parking was an extra charge to park on a back street behind the hotel which was very expensive on top of the price for the room.

Shocked and disappointed and wasn’t the holiday I booked

Firstly I booked danescourt Was put up in Granville-hote as reception told us they owned 3 First room was shocking took me to 3pm next day to get hold of reception Floor all coming up trip hazard Plug direct about me your head Door never closed unless you put so much strength to close it Got moved on day 2 Room was ok Reception told us she come check it and take picture. Never appear to check it never seen nor heard from any one in hotel to see if it was ok Reception over us a round of drink or a free breakfast We declined If you booking on Booking.com Be carefully they should have stated they own 3 hotel but they don’t you can be put up on any I would never booked this hotel if I had know we paid £374 for 2 adult and 15 year old for 3 night room only You should make folk aware What I booked never received You can book the Danescourt Granville hotel Danescourt lodge All separate on website on booking .com You should be advertising as one hotel not individually

Amazing time as always x

Came back for second time as me and my husband fell in love with the hotel. It's like a home from home for us! Beautifully kept and clean! And the staff are so friendly and make you feel so welcome and willing to always help ! There was a new receptionist this time (forgot her name sorry).but she was amazing ! Chatty and friendly also very helpful! Can't wait to book again! From mr and Mrs evans xxx

Family booking

Staff were great, bar is really good but shut early on the sat night, prices were very good, great for families. Friendly place. Breakfast was really good and there's a games room and a kids room.

Room was hot and window didn't open, there was a fan available but it didn't do much. Other people in our parties rooms were not hot, we were on the 3rd floor. There isn't a lift so ring the hotel if you need a ground floor room. We booked this hotel as it included parking but as they say its limited there's only around 4 spaces. Luckily we got free parking on the street for those who couldn't get hotel parking. Still had a great stay and recommend the hotel

Was ok but think under new management wasn’t told the breakfast room had changed to downstairs

That we had booked and was meant to be a flat but I asked when I arrived if it was possible to have a ground floor and we got it

The bed as my husband is 6ft 2 and his legs we’re hanging over it mattress wasn’t good gave us both a sore back

More than adequate, good value for money and attentive staff

The hotel was in a Fantastic location, 2 minute walk from ‘The Sandcastle Waterpark’, Wetherspoons and plenty of fish and chip shops. The WiFi was excellent and super fast and the room was enough for what we needed. Good value for money and Private parking around the back of the building

The only unclean part of the room was the drawers, they were dirty Inside so we had to keep our clothes in the case The shower had a constant drip and there wasn’t a hair dryer in the room

Only good thing about this hotel is the location

Stayed in room 31 rooms are dirty poo on the toilet roll blood on toilet roll sticky dirty room carpets blood on bathroom door thick layers of dust everywhere beds with stains all over them that have not been cleaned or changed. When trying to get a refund the property refused unless the booking gets marked as cancelled, so no reviews can be left. Management refuses to speak to you. Wipe your shoes before you leave as the rest of the hotel is not any better place needs environmental health involved. Can only upload 4 photos of the room but there is atleast another 20

Lovely hotel

This hotel was great. We ended up here because the hotel we originally booked had cancelled. However I’m so glad that happened as the room was great and all the staff were so lovely. The hotel was very quiet and the kids loved the games room. Breakfast was great.

An excellent and enjoyable stay in Blackpool in a fabulous September heatwave !

The staff were friendly efficient and polite. The Breakfast was very good . A full English plus a choice of cereals and Orange juice. The location of the hotel was excellent.

The only negative was that the room was in my opinion a single person room. It was very cramped for a twin bedded room. However, as we only really used the room to sleep in that wasn't really a major issue. The Shower was modern and efficient but again cramped.
