We recently stayed at the Camelot Seafront Hotel as a family of five for two nights, and it was perfect for what we needed.
The room had plenty of space for all of us, with a double bed, double sofa bed, and a single bed. It was ideal for getting our heads down after busy days out. There were also tea and coffee facilities, which is always a nice touch.
We’d been told the room could get warm, but it wasn’t an issue at all. There was a remote-controlled ceiling fan and a powerful floor fan provided, which made a big difference. The shower was actually really nice—very powerful and one of the better ones we’ve had in a hotel.
The staff were lovely throughout our stay—friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast is available for an additional cost and is well worth it. Adults can choose any 8 items from the cooked breakfast menu, and kids can pick 5 items. There are also cereals, toast, hot drinks, and juice included, so there’s plenty of choice.
WiFi was good, and the location is excellent—right across from South Pier. Despite being in such a central spot, we didn’t find it noisy at all. It’s great value for money.
We stayed in Room 11, and the only small thing I’d change is the wall the TV is mounted on—it might work better where the canvas is—but honestly, it wasn’t an issue.
They also let us store our luggage after checkout, and our room was ready early, which was really appreciated.
I work in hospitality myself, and I can genuinely say this place offers great value for money with very pleasant staff. We’d definitely stay again.

We were greeted upon arrival, very friendly staff! Rooms were clean we got one of the upgraded rooms and it was fantastic. Comfortable beds, clean and warm.
