Greyfriars low down.

Great location

The couches in the sitting room were too low down ( just sofa beds really) and difficult to get out of. And there wasn't a spatula in the kitchen, which made making fried eggs impossible.

The location was great.

The accommodation. This wasn't the accommodation that was on the website when I booked it. The entrance is disgusting. With smelly bins then a dangerous small courtyard with rubbish beer barrels and bird droppings everywhere.

I like the fact that we can go to Perth to visit family and can have our independence. The flat is wonderful and just right for 2

Lovely flat,awful entrance way

The flat was very nice inside , great little touches and furnishings, and bed was very comfy. The extras such as coffee/tea and biscuits were a very very nice touch and inside was very clean

The entrance to the flat; there was a old couch with a homeless person on it 3 out of 4 times we entered and left and we had to walk past them.If I was a single female or with a female friend I would not feel safe. There was rubbish past the first door, and it looked like a dumping ground and mouldy items before going up the close. There was an odour in the close also.

The kitchen was very poor and this apartment could certainly not be considered as ‘deluxe’ which is how it was stated on my booking confirmation! The electric hob was outdated and slow to heat - the overhead extractor didn’t work. Two sockets were provided for a total of four appliances (five if you include the non-working extractor) and it would not have been possible to operate the kettle, toaster and microwave simultaneously. The lead on the kettle was ridiculously short and I had to position it in front of the microwave to boil water. The ‘on’ light was missing from the hob and the wiring was visible. I’m not sure about health and safety regulations for holiday apartments in Scotland but I felt that this certainly did not come up to standard! A washing machine was provided in the kitchen but no washing tablets or powder. This is not something I’ve come across in other apartments. Had I been able to do some washing, I would not have been able to dry it as the clothes airer was broken! There was no dining area, merely three folding chairs in the wardrobe. A bag was left on the bed with the instruction to strip the bed and place all used bedding and towels in the bag because of ‘health and safety’. This might have been acceptable during the pandemic but is surely part of the host’s responsibility! Finally, the entrance to the apartment was less than salubrious as it involved walking through a dirty alleyway to a small courtyard littered with bird feathers and poop and worst of all, a dead pigeon with its body torn open. Not a great entrance to a supposed ‘deluxe’ apartment!

Almost great

Almost everything!

The Wi-Fi - at best we could get a weak signal not good enough to receive emails and WhatsApp. This was made worse by a very poor phone signal - the phone signal was not the owners fault of course. A real shame as everything else was great.

We had a pleasant stay at this flat and its well located and close to shops and local bars.

Everything at the flat was ok except for the mattress that we found to be on the small side and uncomfortable for us and the bed linen could have been of better quality. The bathroom light on the last day was flickering and we could not turn it on. Otherwise, we had a very pleasant stay so thank you.

Weekend stay inPerth

Location is fantastic, first floor flat has everything provided for a stay away from home. Soft towels and toiletries in the bathroom and tea and coffee in the kitchen. Comfy bed - we would definitely book again

Traffic is noisy when in sitting room but the TV drowns it out and you can't hear the traffic noise in the bedroom

Loved Perth and loved the Flat

The flat was really cosy and comfortable. We required a blue badge parking space and there were 4/5 spaces in a carpark oppostie the flat. We parked up when we arrived and didn't need to move the car till we left. Sofa bed was a dream to sleep on. Owner was just lovely from first booking to actual stay.

Good value for money and great location

Nicely furnished and good location. Great size living area. Lovely shower. Comfy bed and everything I needed in the kitchen for a two night stay. Great WiFi and lovely big old sash windows.

The kitchen and bathroom could do with an update, it all felt a little old and tired. There was a bit of leakage in the bathroom. Also could have done with some instructions for the a TV remotes which I couldn't figure out.

The apartment was spacious enough for 2 with everything we needed for our 2 night stay in Perth. Ideal central location.

Nothing.

Arrived to the property past loads of bins with flies all around them. Open door to go up to flat and instantly smelt post, walking up stairs to flat paint work coming off the walls - not a good first impression. Door wasn't particularly safe. If a lorry or bus went past the whole flat vibrated. We only stayed the one night and then booked into a hoteL.

close/entrance was very dirty - old mattress and green slime not been cleaned in a long time. Smell of smoke in stair well. Very bad vibrations through flat - windows shaking, when lorries passed. Very busy road from 6am, so not very restful. My daughter could not sleep on sofa bed due to noise in front room. Bed room not much better. Washing machine not working. Kitchen window does not open.

Good location close to city centre and 10' to rail station Cozy and warm whole apartment with adequate amenities provided Bathroom was new and the shower areas was spacious

Old flat with the whole floor leaning to one side When a large vehicle passing by, you feel tremors throughout the house like an earthquake Keyhole was not well aligned with the key from inside so it was difficult to lock First time ever, I was expected to gather used linen and garbage on my check out. Even pandemic is over, COVID is transmitted via air and not touch! Whoever cleans the flat, needs gloves and mask if they really worry about the virus still!
