Everything. Staff were absolutely 10/10 service, nothing was too much. Everyone spoke exceptional English and took great care in making you feel welcome and catering to make it a relaxed time.

Our family loved everything about our stay here. It was so peaceful and wonderful. There was absolutely nothing we could fault. The staff were so attentive, the rooms and facilities were always being cleaned and gardened. Loved the poolside coffee!

Exceptional! A relaxing get-away in beautiful lush surroundings.

We loved our stay at Chapung Sebali Resort so much that we added on two extra days and can't wait to return. We truly did not want to leave! The staff is friendly, kind, and respectful. We had support arranging tours and transportation to the airport. The food is incredible - beautifully presented and every dish we had was delicious. The pool is wonderful to swim in and relax by. One of our favorite vacations by far.

If I go to Bali again, I will definitely return to this hotel.

I have visited many 5 star hotels in Southeast Asia. This hotel impressed me the most because I love tropical nature. The rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable with a beautiful view. The pool is simply beautiful.

A little constructive criticism. I was bothered by the fact that in the beautiful hot tub in the greenery there is a strong smell of sewage, which flows out of a pipe nearby and flows freely down the slope into the river. Something should be done about that. I am also afraid that due to the ongoing construction in the valley, the hotel will lose its most beautiful feature - the view of the beautiful green canyon. I missed warmer water in the pool, like in other hotels in Bali.

Staff always smiling and available. The resort is beautiful and the facilities are amazing. The place is always clean and well mantained.

Water of private pool in the room was a bit cold, not possible to warm it. Breakfast selection was not so wide.

Extraordinary hotel on a perfect location

Gorgeous and secluded hotel with a wide range of facilities like spa, gym and pools. Location is very close to Ubud and there is a complementary shuttle service. The restaurants are amazing and the breakfast service is wonderful. The staff is incredibly helpful and also assisted us with booking tours. Amazing experience and we will definitely be back!

Loved it for our honeymoon - we had the best time and didn’t want to leave

Beauty of the hotel grounds. Kind staff. The best breakfast - I looked forward to it every day! But honestly so much good food everywhere. The restaurant Upper Deck was really good with reasonable prices. Amazing pool and the views from restaurant etc. The room with the pool was reasonably private and the hotel room was so stylish - dark, edgy and moody! It was also so spacious and comfortable. It was perfect for our honeymoon. Probably the most amazing place that we stayed at in Bali (from all the rest that we had). Highly recommend it!!!

Maybe lack of proper light to do my makeup in the room - but it’s a minor inconvenience.

Wonderful property, beautiful design. The food and service were excellent.

A minor issue but it would have been good to be able to keep our villa bedrooms unlocked rather than needing a key card to unlock every time the door closed.

Stunning boutique resort, close enough to ubud central to go for dinner etc, but far enough away & amidst rice paddi

Location - out of the busy-ness but with easy access to the centre, staying in the middle of rice paddies (through hotel property) & jungle was beautiful Staff - outstanding, helpful & kind Property - beautiful boutique hotel, spa outlook & facilities excellent Food - excellent Pool - infinity pool looking into jungle is stunning Activities- staff were very helpful in organising. We did a rice paddies bike ride with our young boys. Guide was kind, fun & excellent in adapting to their level, finding special experiences for them (& us) & teaching us all a bit about local culture.

Amazing resort, fantastic location, incredible views

Absolutely fantastic resort away from the hustle and bustle. This resort is in a great peaceful, secluded location. The views are incredible. The staff are amazing. So attentive and always on call. Always smiling and caring. The breakfast was great with so much choice. Facilities amazing. Gym, spa, yoga, pool - all clean and available all day long. Room cleaned twice a day. Free shuttle into town. Everything was amazing.

Just be aware that due to the climate and changes in temperature you may get small bugs but completely harmless.

It's impossible to find a facility of this quality, so close to nature. The entire staff is both polite and extremely friendly. Everything from the cleanliness to the food, from the spa service to the materials used is top-notch.

The perfect spot to completely unwind.

The pool villa was a dream. This was our second visit and it was well worth it. It is spacious, well maintained and quiet. The staff is quick, extraordinarily professional and helpful.

Perfect stay in nature, but don’t forget that this is a full-nature experience.

Hotel design is perfect. Rooms are very isolated and great. Staff is perfect and available 24/7. Dining is very good, they have a very cute bar as well. Design of the main pool area is perfect. Cuisine is also very high in quality. Breakfast is very high in quality. Very authentic design of the fitness center, jacuzzi area and yoga saloon. SPA is the best Ubud. They also provide snacks and fruits after the spa.

Room design was a bit old, some of the furnitures were a little bit of lower in quality. Lots of corners in design that might be dangerous sometimes. Room pool is hard to get in and out. Stairs are not sufficient. I guess a heated pool would be much better. Balcony doors are hard to fully close, it’s a bit problematic for a room in the real nature. Bed covers and linens are old. I believe they should be more premium.

everything was perfect

This is our second time staying at this hotel, and once again, everything was perfect. The staff were as warm and helpful as ever, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed [e.g., the breakfast/pool/spa], which made our stay even more memorable. It was lovely to see that they remembered our previous visit and were happy to welcome us back. We highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Bali!

Gorgeous, amazing, unforgatable

This place is absolutly amazing incredible view swimming pool in the jungle, the suite was amazing, excellent service ( special thanks to Ayu at breakfast who knows what luxury service means, but all personnel were great) congrats to the chef of the jungle fish restaurant all food was great ( tuna tataki excellent) savory and perfect. This place is a dream place

The upper deck restaurant too fancy and expensive and maybe the pool should be heated a Little. But this is an amazing place

Insects!

Size of the garden and the rooms. Staff was very helpful. The nature was amazing.

Humidity at some rooms is terrible. It smells badly. Detail cleaning is not good. Bed linens are poor and doesn't look clean. One night insects, called Dalu (a type of flying unharmful insect), hundreds of them in seconds started to fly at the garden and entered into rooms in seconds. Small lizards came after them to garden. We are not warned before about this. They said that after rain they may came to the light.

Stunning location with amazing grounds, room, pool and staff. Probably one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in!

We were a family of four and our room was great, but a word of warning that the stairs to the mezzanine twin beds are very steep and would be a challenge for anyone with smaller children (eg below 6 or 7)

Beautiful resort, great staff service.

The location, it’s a beautiful resort, lush green and we could see sunrise from our balcony. The staff is very friendly and cooperative, they were very helpful and accommodating of our vegetarian meal requests.

There are many stairs and my elderly parents couldn’t navigate easily, it gets too wet and dark around villas and it’s a risk for some. We were 3 people and they kept providing room facilities for 2, we would always have to call and request, which they duly complied with.

Perfect

Great hotel with great service and location. Staff was really nice, food was also really good - breakfast, dinner, everything.. Really nice nature, great views from the room and pool. Hotel offers transfer to Ubud centrum and for come back, so you don't need to go walking. Pool and all hotel is really clean and good looking. We were there only two nights and we are sorry don't stay more :))

Too many mirrors in the room and too much soft matrace for me but this is only my feeling. Everything was really good.

Phenomenal jungle retreat, perfect for a honeymoon or other retreat type vacation.

The main infinity pool area is amazing, and the included day beds for guests are perfect to lounge for the afternoon. The breakfast though is truly wonderful!

The property can be a bit hard to get to due to roads and traffic. From the airport, it takes at least 1.5 hours.
