Best resort for interior.

Everything. The food menu can be more. But its very luxurious.

The pool is not for the ones who don't know swimming.. we asked for pool tubes and then later we got it. Apart from it everything is so good. Located abit inside from the city.

Location, property itself

Stinky room, smelly bed linen, providing ALaCarte menu with no items available and special mention about the front desk staff Arika very rude and disrespectful don’t know hospitality at all, and leave no room for customers to realize that they are not welcome at all. She was treating us like she’s is doing any favors on us, interact with her twice both times she failed as a host. I don’t know why she was there with her long face and negative attitude.

Amazing place, amazing people, spa with massage is on the top, we had spent there 7 nights and after 3 maybe nights everyone knew my kids and treated us asa family:) the view of the jungle is unique .

Nice place to explore Ubud North.

It felt like being in the rainforest, nice location.

There was some renovation going on in the wellness area so we couldn’t use the yoga room. Not a big issue, however would have been good to be informed upfront.

Wonderful, unexpected stay in a tranquil setting

This Resort is outstanding overall. My partner and I had to stay in this room as an emergency, after he fell ill the day prior. The service and facilities were brilliant. The staff were able to accommodate our early check-in request, and we received the very best in accommodation and service throughout our stay. The rooms are very large, with a lounge area and a good-sized private balcony. The bathroom was GORGEOUS and HUGE! I was able to enjoy the facilities while my partner rested. The setting was tranquil, away from the busy city centre. The grounds of the resort were immaculate and peaceful. I really enjoyed my time wandering the grounds and sitting by the pool. I was also able to enjoy a private yoga session on the pool deck. The breakfast was fantastic - a great range of both Indonesian, and Western options. I also had dinner at the restaurant which faces the street and has a great vibe.

The resort is on the other side of Ubud, so the Traffic to and from the airport is pretty horrendous. The yoga was not included in the price of the room, it would be nice to have more daily activities.

The shower was either the temperature of the sun or ice cold no inbetween and our jacuzzi didn't give us hot water

The place was clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were extremely kind and always smiling. The rooms were spacious, bright, and very clean. They were always helpful whenever we needed anything from the facility. The pool area had a lovely atmosphere, and we also enjoyed the massage and yoga services. The food was delicious. Breakfast was included in our booking and we could choose two options each morning. We also rented a scooter directly from the hotel, which was cheaper than in the city center.

The only downsides were that the location was a bit far from the cafés and shops in Ubud center, so you definitely need a scooter or car to get around. Also, alcohol service ended quite early in the evening. However, the staff still went out of their way to assist us whenever they could.

The location.

Upon arrival there was an event in the garden. No problem, and also Some fun. They told us the kitchen would still be open. But when we wanted to order it turned out that the kitchen was closed so they told us to order food ourselves. With our three-year-old daughter, this was not ideal. They promise us a free drink. We didn’t get. The next day we made another attempt to have breakfast and diner. The quality is below standard and the things we like to order weren’t available. Our room is noisy, is behind the reception. And wellness was under renovation.

Best place for holiday

Everything was amazing. My husband and I had a great experience at Vije Hotel. The staff were very helpful and kind, especially Made, who assisted us in many situations.

Everything was amazing, but if I want to be strict, they could improve the breakfast a little. We ordered a float breakfast; while everything was fine, it wasn't very tasty.

Great room not very great hotel

The villa we stayed in was beautiful

The toilet flush was very dodgy we had to get staff in to fix the toilet and bum gun and once they fixed it they were leaking everywhere, also I went for a massage which finished 8 minutes early and honestly wasn’t that great, I just left feeling greasy and oily and not very relaxed, I noticed the masseuse looking at her phone during the massage as well. The food was very average, the restaurant had 0 atmosphere, I wouldn’t come back

A beautiful hotel with incredible staff

The hotel was beautiful. The staff were absolutely amazing, particularly the two staff who greeted us at the desk when we arrived, especially the lady who showed us our room. We would also like to specially mention Gede, our driver for the day who showed us the local attractions. He was excellent and ensured we thoroughly enjoyed our experience - we had an amazing day touring the local attractions specifically because of him.

Our room itself was incredible but the soundproofing was not good. We could hear every noise within the surrounding area very clearly (e.g in the bar/restuarant downstairs or people in neighbouring rooms and the corridoor outside, as well as the outside area below our room) which made it difficult to get to sleep until all the noise had subsided (approximately 2am both nights).

Okay, for a couple of days.

The rooms are big, well equipped. The interior is kept typically Bali.

We’ve been too close to reception. The noise was too much. The food was good, but too much sugar. Add more health options. I’m sorry, but I have to be honest. The gym is a joke, I was so dissatisfied.

5* stay!

Our stay at Vije was amazing! The food was great and reasonably priced, our room was absolutely stunning, and most importantly the staff and service were exceptional. Everyone was very helpful and extremely accommodating. I would certainly recommend this hotel and hope to visit again in the future! Also the location is great and only a 10 minute ride away from the centre of Ubud. The hotel offer a free of charge shuttle service or you can use Grab which is very affordable.

Beautiful hotel with very well appointed rooms and very friendly staff

The hotel has beautiful premises, a gorgeous swimming pool facing a tropical rainforest, a very good spa with a range of massages, and the room was very well appointed. The staff was always very helpful, and it was a pleasure to stay there. I recommend it to anyone visiting Ubud.

The restaurant has a limited range of options, particularly vegetarian or vegan. With that beautiful setting, it would have been good to have a more varied menu. The restaurant staff compensated for this, however, by being very helpful.

A perfect home away from home.

Incredible! We loved the staff the most, they were kind, friendly, and attentive to details. The rooms were spacious and inviting, we all slept extremely well. Breakfast menu is short, but covered all bases, and every dish was delicious. Situated a little distance away from the centre which we preferred, good to get away from the hustle and bustle, and enjoy some peace and quiet. Thank you for having us, we would happily stay with you again!

A lovely short stay surrounded by nature in a beautiful resort.

Such a beautiful, serene and peaceful resort. The staff at Vije are very friendly, helpful and kind. The suite I stayed in was incredible, very clean and always made up to a high standard as requested. The resort also has a free shuttle that takes you into the Ubud centre and back, which I found very useful. Would 100% stay again next time I visit Ubud.

It is a little far out from the Ubud main area if you would rather walk from your accommodation to the main strip but the shuttle bus and great service from local drivers made this a non-issue for me.

A lovely hotel

A beautiful hotel just a short taxi ride from Ubud. The hotel run a shuttle bus which was great too. Room very large and clean. Staff extremely friendly and swimming pool was great too.

Very Happy

Very comfortable bed, stylish design, lots of space to put your clothes, spacious, modern, the bathroom is huge, turn down service they leave a cute note, restaurant food is tasty, nice breakfast, beautiful pool and surrounding, ask to have a river view room the outlook was so nice, staff helpful. Little gym and area to do yoga. Would stay here again 100%.

It's really hard to get water temperature in the shower right, either boiling hot or cold. Shower drain empties slowly.

Horrendous hotel and terrible experience

Nothing! Staying here ruined the end to our honeymoon.

The whole hotel was under construction without any prior warning. The pool was closed, the staff were slow, spoke very little English’s and some had very bad odour. The hotel was damp throughout , it smelt so bad of damp in our room and the humidifier did nothing. Our terrace and private pool was disgusting, mouldy and ant infested with a huge ant nest. There were so many ants that it was unusable. The breakfast was terrible also! The manager is also incredibly rude.

A welcome sanctuary from busier parts of the island.

Well located not too far from town centre (short shuttle ride), small and quiet, beautiful pool and restaurant, gorgeous staff.

There were a couple of issues - some very loud construction noise right above our room the first day (fortunately this did not continue), shower very hard to adjust (extremely hot at one point), noise of creatures scurrying on roof most nights. The room was large and clean but there were no little extras like plates and glasses, games, magazines or DVD player for example.

Everything! when you enter Vije you feel like in paradise. The staff made every effort to make us happy. Our suite was beautiful and equipped with everything we could need and the terrace facing the jungle was hearth breaking. thank you for your kindness 🙏

Beautiful, comfortable and great value for money

The hotel was beautiful. All of our rooms were clean and overlooked the river. The views were simply stunning. The decor was very modern yet had traditional accents. The pool area was lovely and relaxing and the staff were super attentive and friendly.

The rooms could do with a few more hangers and the pool area could have some more sun loungers available however other than these very minor points everything was wonderful :)
