Beautiful comfortable friendly place on a rice paddy

Small property, owners and staff were friendly and helpful, including offering recommendations for supermarket. Three restaurants nearby including the vegan one at Pyramids of Chi, so onsite restaurant is not a problem. Villa was clean and spacious, aircon works, bed comfy, pool clean. Recommend for singles or couples, especially if planning to spend time in North of Ubud.

Villas back up to a busy road, so might affect sleep in the morning. Quiet at night. Also, I had an early retreat so I missed the breakfast most days (which I knew ahead of time). Traffic is bad going into town, but fortunately I didn't have to do that often.

We had a wonderful stay at Taman Eden Cottage. The place was spotless, the room perfectly clean, and the hosts were incredibly warm and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and freshly prepared every morning. The location is great - about 4 km from the busy center of Ubud, which makes it peaceful and relaxing, yet still easy to reach. You can even walk into town using a beautiful shortcut through the rice fields. There are several restaurants within walking distance, and the hosts can also arrange tours and massage sessions directly for you, which was extremely convenient. The garden is beautifully maintained, with lots of lush plants, creating a very calm atmosphere.

A lovely experience that we would return to

The owners were lovely and very helpful and supportive. Breakfast and the villa was lovely. Taman Eden is approx 100m away from Pyramids of Chi and two local cafe / restaurants. It is out of town (a $9 cab ride or a 50 min walk through rice fields). a lovely quiet group of villas looking out on rice fields.

One we realised it was OK to be out of the hustle and bustle of Ubud township, it was very enjoyable.

A little oasis in Ubud, Kel and Sherree

The most gorgeous cottages and setting with lovely hosts Alain and Sylvia. Attention to detail in every aspect including breakfast . The rooms with outdoor bathroom the best we stayed in while travelling around Bali. Across the road from the Pyramids of Chi a bonus. Located a fair bit out of town so nice and quiet another bonus so use Grab to get around . We ate at the Botanist restaurant nearby and had a lovely meal . We would highly recommend Taman Eden and will definitely return on our next visit to Bali , Kel and Sherree

Awesome!

We loved staying at Taman Eden Cottage. The villas were beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was also nice, you can choose bettween 3 options. The couple who owns the place is very helpful and they try to make your stay comfortable. The location is a bit further from the ubud centre, we had some issues getting a taxi but that more has to to with ubud crazy traffic than the location of the villas.

An oasis north of busy ubud

Beautiful oasis near the rice terraces. Alain, his wife and all the staff are so helpful. The banana pancakes were amazing. The highlight was seeing the fireflies in the adjoining rice fields one night as we were swimming. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Absolutely amazing property. The rooms are big, clean, so tastefully decorated while preserving the local tradition. The bed is super confortable and the open air bathroom is spacious and has a lot of storage space. The owners are very kind and helpfull and the breakfast very tasty.

Accommodation with a beautiful serene outlook in a peaceful setting with great hosts.

I loved that it was not crowded - and was so peaceful. The hosts were lovely and very friendly. The breakfast were beautiful. The room was amazing - loved the outdoor feel to the bathroom. I was attending 4 days of sessions at The Pyramids of Chi across the road - so location was perfect. However when i wanted to venture down to Ubud centre - I just walked down the track out the back of the property that lead down through the rice fields and to the centre. Very convenient. Lovely accommodation - would stay again.

I’m a light sleeper so did notice the scooters/motorbikes till later into the evening, as accomodation is right by a hill and corner. My pillow was firm - usually I prefer a soft pillow. This could easily be fixed by having a softer pillow option available and I should have used my earplugs for the scooters. This by no means would not stop me from staying here - it was a beautiful beautiful accomodation and I would be happy to stay here again if i returned to Ubud.

The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready with a smile or a local recommendation. Each morning’s breakfast was a treat in itself. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, calmness and heartfelt service, this little haven in Ubud is the perfect choice.

Hidden paradise!

This place exceeded any expectations that we had! Starting from extremely clean environment, very kind and helpful hosts and amazing swimming pool to arranged requests that we had! These are the reasons why I recommend this place: 1. Amazing atmosphere, everything is very well taken care of, the houses have good sound isolation and very good facilities. It is quite close to Ubud but also we felt like we are surrounded be nature. 2. Delicious breakfast that will keep you full till dinner! We could choose from 3 options and it was more that enough for 4 nights. 3. The amazing hosts arranged us anything that we asked for - it really make us feel like we are on vacation! They helped us with the scooter rent, things to do and transfer taxi. They are definitely the nicest French people I've met! 4. The in-house massage that I booked was one of the best ones I had and I didn't have to leave our villas for that! Also, the price was super good, so don't miss your chance!

A bit far from Ubud, but if you have a scooter or a car, it's not a problem. Four separate villas together with the host's house are located in a beautiful garden with a swimming pool. The garden continues with rice fields, so the atmosphere here is awesome. Everything is very clean and beautifully arranged. Not far from the place of accommodation is the Pyramid Chi complex. A lot of people come here, there is a nice restaurant here. Yoga, meditation and sound therapy with lights are practiced here. I don't recommend it very much, we paid 67 USD per person and the experience is clean zero. Brilliantly mastered marketing to sell money to the local community.

Absolutely wonderful, magical, excellent place ever. Right next to a rice paddy where you can see fireflies at night. Beautiful gardens and excellent breakfast. We had the most relaxing time here away from the noise of town. We will be back for sure!

The good location is easily accessible (and close to Pyramids of Chi, nice place!). Lovely owners, helped me arrange everything. cottage is super clean and surrounded by rice fields. there are only a few cottages so I was always alone at the pool :)

A little piece of Paradise in Ubud

Our stay at Tamen Eden was absolutely perfect - so much so that we extended our stay twice 😊. The villas are brand new, perfectly clean and you can tell that they have been designed and are being cared for with love. We even found fresh flowers placed around the room on our first day. The breakfast is outstanding (especially compared to other properties in Bali) with delicious coffee, fresh local fruit and a generous menu of three different breakfasts to chose from every day. The owners are lovely people and always greeted us with a smile, happy to chat about our plans for the day or answer any questions. The property is located a little outside of the bustling centre of Ubud, overlooking the rice fields. We could watch the fireflies buzzing through the night from our villa‘s terrace. We couldn’t imagine a better place to stay in Ubud, 100% recommended!

Éloigné du tumulte d’Ubud

Très bon accueil de Sylvie et Alain. L’établissement est éloigné du brouhaha et de la foule d’Ubud, avec une belle vue sur la piscine et les rizières. Le petit déjeuner est très bon. Il est possible de profiter d’un massage sur place. Un chemin de 3,5 km à travers les rizières permet d’accéder à Ubud à pied. Des restaurants se trouvent à proximité.

L’établissement se trouve en bordure de route, où la circulation est importante. Il est conseillé d’avoir un moyen de transport pour ceux qui n’aiment pas marcher.
