Location was a bit too far out of town to be an easy walk. Pool lounges could use a clean.

Hidden gem 💎

We had a wonderful stay at Tabeng Private Villa in Ubud. The villa was peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by nature — a perfect place to relax. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a lovely private pool area. The owner was warm, welcoming, and always willing to help with transport, recommendations, and arrangements. The location is slightly away from the busy center, but we loved the quiet atmosphere, and it was easy to get around with a scooter or car. Overall, a very memorable and relaxing stay — highly recommended.

Relaxing and perfect for a family of 5.

Loved staying in this beautiful villa, it felt secluded but close to everything at the same time. Pyramids of chi was walking distance plus a couple of unique restaurants including coco’s cafe and health food shop. Staff were friendly and available when needed. Couldn’t fault it. Would love to stay again sometime.

The real BALI Experience

We had an amazing 3 night stay at Tabeng Villa! The owner, Mr. Wayan, was incredibly responsive and helpful from the start. We even had the pleasure of meeting their loyal guard dog, Lohey! Truly the sweetest and most helpful companion during our stay! The villa itself was absolutely beautiful and spotless. The kitchen was fully equipped with a stove, utensils and a fridge, perfect for a family getaway. Each room was cozy and comfortable, and the beds and pillows felt like sleeping on a cloud. The bathrooms were all clean and well maintained. The location was peaceful and quiet, a perfect escape from the busy town. We loved every moment here and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended for a large family who loves an escape of greenery and a Bali experience stay!

Perfect except noise

House is fantastic, big, clean, wonderful pool, good wifi and perfect air-conditioning. We were very well welcomed and our host was present for any question.

Very noisy with traffic, horns, dogs and rosters from 4:30 am ... as we have a light sleep it was difficult to sleep and we were waked up very early in the morning.

A beautiful jungle villa in Ubud with the kindest, most welcoming family hosts.

I had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful jungle villa in Ubud. From the moment we arrived, the family made us feel so welcome – they were incredibly kind, warm, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The villa itself was stunning, surrounded by lush greenery, and spotlessly clean. Every detail was well thought out, and they provided us with everything we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I would love to come back again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ubud!

Tabeng Private Villa was perfect for our family’s stay in Ubud.

Clean, beautiful setting, lush garden, big bedrooms and bathrooms, open air kitchen to enjoy family meals in between activities. The location is outside Ubud center (20-30 minute drive depending on traffic), it’s quiet and dark at night - which I like because I’m not much into nighttime entertainment. There are 2-3 restaurants nearby, within 10 minutes of walking, but the area is very dark at night, be sure to have your phone or flashlight. There’s a laundry shop a block away, which was convenient before I packed my clothes home, because Ubud was exceptionally rainy during our stay and my clothes couldn’t dry 100% in the humidity. Mr. Wayan, the owner, is wonderful; he’s responsive and helpful when we realized we needed some additional things or information. He also offers transportation for hire, which I wished I had known. In short, I highly recommend Tabeng Private Villa.

Not a dislike, but just an FYI for those with limited mobility; the property is nestled on a hill. It has multiple sets of stairs, so it may not be easy to navigate.

Perfect little hideaway

Tabeng Private Villa was perfect for us. Location was good to get around and still close to downtown. Tabeng was very helpful. The rooms were huge and could easily accommodate a larger family or group. We enjoyed the little lounge room for some downtime.

Everything was amazing. The manager was so helpful. He provided us with everything we needed it for our stay. Very comfortable and spacious villa. Beds were super comfortable. Beautiful decoration. The location was just a few minutes from Ubud town. I loved everything. Wayan and his son were amazing. He can also provide transportation shock is amazing his car is very comfortable as well

Prachtige grote villa in leuke wijk!

Alles was perfect! De villa ligt in een rustigere wijk. Het is echt enorm groot met 3 ruime slaapkamers die ieder een eigen grote badkamer hebben. Verder is er een grote open keuken (met groot vat gefilterd water) en een tv kamer. Het zwembad is groot en diep. Heerlijk verkoelend en goed om baantjes in te trekken. Het is prachtig ingericht ook met een grote tuin. De omgeving is ook prachtig, vlakbij het centrum van Ubud (met grab of Gojek) en minuten lopen van de rijstvelden. Het Japan-Indonesisch restaurant Bintang dat rechts een minuut lopen in dezelfde straat ligt, is een aanrader voor de lunch / diner.

Niets, het is perfect! Misschien een theedoek en afwasborstel in de keuken.

Villa con instalaciones muy nuevas y equipadas con aire acondicionado. El propietario es muy acogedor y atento. Esta a 10 minutos en coche del centro en una zona muy tranquila. Tiene restaurantes alrededor y hay wifi incluido.

Fantastisch!

Het is een prachtige villa op een rustige plek net buiten de drukke stad Ubud. Om de hoek zitten leuke eettentjes voor ontbijt en diner. Mr Tabeng is ontzettend vriendelijk en samen met zijn zoon en schoonzoon altijd beschikbaar voor taxi service. Wij hebben genoten van deze plek!

Estancia perfecta en Ubud

No le falta detalle y la familia que lo atiende es extremadamente amable. Incluso te llevan en coche a conocer la isla, nosotros hicimos eso los dos primeros días y alquilamos uno para el resto.

Nada, fue genial todo, solo ten en cuenta que está a las afueras de Ubud y hace falta transporte. Pedir comida a domicilio no es problema.

Un séjour de rêve.

La villa Tabeng est tout simplement magnifique. La parfaite liaison entre la jungle d’ubud et la ville. Vous serez très bien accueilli par son propriétaire Wayan. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très propres. N’hésitez pas à solliciter Wayan pour la location de scooter ! L’hôte est très réactif. N’hésitez pas elle est vraiment mieux que sur les photos !

Le bruit des animaux peuvent éventuellement déranger la nuit ( coq, gecko..) mais c’est le jeu de Bali !

Villa met veel ruimte en schoon. Top locatie!

Verhuurder was vriendelijk en was voor meerdere dagen onze chauffeur. Locatie is top, maar toch de rust. Je zit vlakbij het centrum voor taxi (auto/scooter). Makkelijk met eten laten bezorgen ook. Zwembad is heel fijn (1 puntje: ik vond het wel iets teveel chloor). Kamers erg fijn en lekker ruim ook!

Veel muggen bij de buitenkeuken, maar dat was ook te verwachten. Een ventilator boven de eettafel bij de buitenkeuken was fijn geweest!

Espectacular!

Localización perfecta, zona muy tranquila y queda en medio del centro de ubud y arrozales. Villa muy acogedora, cocina funcional, habitaciones muy limpias, piscina perfecta y con mucha privacidad. Personal muy atento, amable y agradable, dispuesto a ayudar en tu estancia. Nos gustó mucho un altavoz de música que da mucho ambiente a la villa. Nos sentimos cómo en casa.
