We stayed there one week and it was an amazing stay. I came there to rest a week and I don’t regret choosing this hotel. It was very peaceful, our room was very beautiful with everything you need inside, the bed was sooo comfy! I absolutely loved the fact that they come at night to prepare the room with the good light and the little details to make it relaxing. The staff is also amazing, the housekeeping team, the restaurant staff as well at people working at the reception, everyone is smiling and very pro, they are doing great job. Thank you all !

The only little details was that the room I was staying was in wood so I could hear the neighbors next door. The staff was helpful and proposed me to change for another room but I actually liked mine better and in the end, it didn’t really matter.

We would gladly stay here again. We loved the beautiful location, the facilities, the spa was enchanting too!

It was magical from the moment we stepped into the property. Just a wondering peaceful vibe. The bedroom was absolutely beautiful, however the bathroom being downstairs was a little tricky if you wake up needing the toilet in the middle of the night.

Amazing stay in the most cosy and lush place in Ubud!

I loved everything about Blue Karma Dijiwa - we picked this place as it had a more cosy than luxury vibe, and it did not disappoint! The rooms were sooo big and charming: we loved the wood, huge bed, nice decorations, dressing room... The swimming pool is exquisite with beautiful views and situated so nicely in their garden. It's a little scooter ride away from the center but we didn't mind as it was lovely to tour around in the area. Good restaurants could be found in the near surrounding too. The breakfast was huge and splendid too! All in all - we really really enjoyed it.

The restaurant serves really beautifully presented dishes but sadly were lacking a little bit in flavour. This would be the only small thing I would change,

Wonderful resort

Located in a beautiful green area, it has an amazing swimming pool surrounded by lush palmtrees and rice fields. The villas are secluded and the staff is really kind. The breakfast is amazing, lot of choices.

I wasn t a big fan of the bathroom layout, I would have expected a more luxurious bathroom given the resort.

I was in the Spa last year with Santi, and she did an incredible job, we specifically came back and booked the hotel because she is the most sweetest and professional person that I ever meet.

The Blue Karma Resort is a truly special find. You can feel the energy the moment you walk in. I love how the natural aesthetic is woven into every corner of the resort, even the smallest touches. The effort put in by the team is noticed in every single way, and their commitment to an eco-focused, sustainable approach is something I really appreciate. With everything going on in the world, I wasn’t sure somewhere so amazing still existed – and with staff so eager to please in such a genuine and heartfelt way. One thing that especially stood out for me was the nightly room preparation. They softly light incense, fan the sheets, adjust your pillows, and gently pull down the mosquito net. It’s honestly magic. I felt it to my core. I feel nurtured, revitalised, and honestly… I don’t want to leave.

Tropical hide away with attentive staff, great food and a wonderful pool.

Our room was well sized with good amenity. The resort itself is lush with beautiful gardens and an amazing pool. The restaurant has an extensive menu and all staff are attentive, polite and have a real motivation for guests to enjoy their stay.

Our room was on the edge of the property and there is a construction site next door. Guys worked night shifts and on Saturday. We ourselves have a construction company so we could appreciate the need for progress, but it did get annoying after a while.

An amazingly beautiful hotel that makes you want to come back.

An amazingly beautiful hotel with very authentic wooden rooms. A stunning infinity pool overlooking the rice terraces. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the service is excellent. And those breakfasts! Absolutely delicious. The restaurant offers excellent Indonesian and European cuisine. The location is also convenient, very close to the center. A shuttle to the center runs several times a day if you wish. I definitely want to come back.

For those who choose two separate beds, keep in mind that they’re quite narrow — even for me, a person of small build, they felt a bit small. But overall, I slept well.

A great stay

Amazing staff, always so happy and polite. They all would go above and beyond for you. The food at the restaurant was great, too. The pool area was beautiful. The whole resort was very well kept. Spa treatments are amazing!

There is nothing within walking distance of the resort and it does take a long while to get anywhere by car. The view from our room wasn't quite what we expected. Very trivial but it would be great if you could buy bottles of water. Water is provided at the rooms however, we were going out on quite a long car journey and asked if we could buy water anywhere for the journey and were told we'd have to get the driver to stop somewhere. It wasn't the end of the world but would have been handy.

Nice relaxing Resort- pool and restaurant lots of nooks to chill out with a book, attentive staff. Spa is excellent- facial and massage top notch. Room was good size, nice outdoor bathroom.

The hotel is a true gem. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. The spa is divine. The breakfasts are hearty, and the pool is a real haven of peace. I highly recommend!

Charming restful base to explore Ubud

Property is quite pretty. Breakfast, room, and personnel were all just really quite lovely. While the location isn’t central to Ubud (a plus for me but a consideration for others potentially)it’s a nice balance as it’s very quiet and peaceful. It’s also quite personal and small sized.

I felt it was in the pricier side for what was offered compared to other similar boutique hotels. Restaurant menu for dinner seemed less Indonesian focused and more global. This might be a plus for some Travellers.

- Peaceful Location: Situated in a quiet area a few kilometers from Ubud, ideal for escaping the noise of the town. - Well-Maintained Garden: The garden was described as well-kept, adding to the aesthetic and ambiance. - Appealing Pool Area: The pool looked great and included comfortable beds for lounging. - Restaurant Quality : The food served at the restaurant was tasty and well prepared—this was noted as the highlight of the stay. - Friendly Staff: The team was generally warm and helpful in their approach.

- Subpar Room: Rooms were close together and poorly soundproofed, affecting privacy and quietness. - Unpleasant Odor in Bungalow: A persistent bad smell in the room, even with ventilation. - Inconsistent Hot Water Supply: No hot water on the first day and long waits afterward to get it working. - Overpriced Restaurant Offerings: Prices were notably high—especially for items like local wine (780,000 IDR + tax), which was more expensive than in comparable places in Ubud. - Overzealous Service: Staff occasionally lacked discretion, seeming unsure when to step back. - Mismatch in Expectations: Overall ambiance and service were more reminiscent of a countryside guesthouse than a genuine four-star resort.

Peaceful jungle escape with dreamy breakfasts, comfy beds, and the right touch of luxury

I had a lovely stay at this beautiful property — it’s incredibly peaceful and quiet, perfect for unwinding. Getting to Ubud city center was super easy (I used Grab bikes), and while I didn’t use the free shuttle, it’s a great perk for those who want a hassle-free ride into town. The bed was so comfortable — I slept like a dream! I also appreciated the twice-daily room maintenance, including a nice turndown service in the evening. Breakfast was a real standout — absolutely incredible. I couldn’t get enough of the granola bowl and tofu scramble. I also had dinner at the on-site restaurant, The Botanist, which was delicious and super convenient when I wanted a relaxed night in.

I have to say, I didn’t totally love the fully outdoor bathroom situation. It was my first time staying somewhere with the shower completely outside, and while it sounds dreamy in theory (hello, tropical vibes), the reality was a little…awkward. One afternoon, I was mid-shower, soaking up the view — and suddenly locking eyes with a hotel maintenance guy tending the garden. 😂 To be fair, he immediately turned and walked away behind the foliage, but let’s just say my zen moment was over. That little surprise aside, I still really enjoyed my stay at Blue Karma and would totally recommend it. Just a heads-up: if you’re planning to enjoy the outdoor shower, definitely keep that privacy curtain all the way down unless you’re into unexpected guest appearances!

Real Jungle Paradise!

This hotel is one of the best experiences I've had at Bali. The whole place is very isolated and incredibly well designed and decorated, super stylish, especially at night. The rooms are traditional Bali style, big and cozy. It was truly recharging to stay there for few days. The staff is super nice and helpful.

Definitely worth a stay!

Room size, a bit small, but the staff was really helpful, and they showed me a bigger room as well. Although, I stayed in the smaller one only, but they were very cooperative and offered me a free massage because I complained about the small room size. The gesture was really great. Would live to stay again and again there. The resort is beautiful and serene. Each space has been designed to get you feel comfortable and relaxed. Amazing service! Even they came to make my bed for sleep! Such a warm hospitality. 🫶🏻

Great Value for Money

The rooms were extremely well decorated and the attention to detail that went into designing each villa impressed me. Getting the hammock villa was totally worth it as the views to the jungle were incredible. Regarding the activities, I've taken some yoga classes as well as the coconut oil making class and they were all worth the money.

Some days the breakfast was great, others it took too long and the food was bland or uncooked.

Magical, peacefull and best stay in Ubud

This is my 4th time I stay at Blue Karma, it is really the most beautifull and peacefull stay in Ubud, they made our stay very comfortable, the breakfast is amazing, you can rent a scooter, rooms are clean and the service is beyond, thank you so much see you next year
