Beautiful place in Ubud

It’s a beautiful property with little special touches everywhere. Stone walkways over water to some rooms. My room had a large window overlooking the pool with a private patio on the front side. Peaceful. Far enough away from ubud center. But close enough to not have a hassle to get there

I would like to return every year!

I loved the daily yoga classes with wonderful instructors. Breakfast was delicious and in a beautiful setting with wonderful kitchen and front of house staff. Reception staff were readily available and always willing to meet our requirements. The shuttle into Ubud was very convenient. The garden surroundings were so tranquil. The added bonuses like 2 complimentary massages, yoga classes, shuttle and discount vouchers for the restaurant were well received.

The resort was clean and beautiful. We loved the plants, the koi fishes, the pool, the spa, and the decor.

The light was dim in the room, which caused problem in my meeting. There should be more food options in the restaurant for lunch and dinner that are suitable for foreigners.

Listen, I never leave any reviews on booking so for me to leave this review is legit ! This is my partner’s review. I’m just copying and pasting it. She left it on Google but I legit agree with her as well. Wonderful experience! Chose Korurua Dijiwa for a double birthday gateway for me and my partner and we were not disappointed! Not only they upgraded us but also surprised us with 2 birthday cakes and birthday decorations. The room was fantastic, comfortable, spacious and a really beautiful balcony & pools. It's really close to the centre of Ubud yet feels more secluded which is a great combo. They have a bunch of other facilities like spa, shuttle, yoga and photography session which we didn't get to use but I'm sure are a great addition to the experience. Beautiful, hidden oasis close to Ubud centre

This is an incredibly beautiful, hidden oasis of a resort, built down a riverbank with lush gardens, gorgeous traditional wooden houses for guests and a beautiful pool. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxing, while the hotel organised events and dinners for guests in the evenings, as well as offering tours to Balinese sights in the area. Incredibly good value for money, so I would love to return and will definitely recommend Korurua Dijiwa to others.

Nothing about the hotel - it's a bit of a shame that a big resort is being built on the other side of the riverbank, close to this lovely retreat.

A spot to connect with nature and self 🧘🏽‍♀️

The location, ambience, and staff were all positivity facilitating a restful stay and a spot to chill and recharge. Restaurant is also good in both food and service. I would definitely come back again!

Ample comfortable room and balcony, cured landscape, on site restaurant, swimming pools, massage, yoga, cooking class. Breakfast indeed exceptional, personnel was fantastic always Special thanks for the great free morning yoga lessons

There is a range of shops and restaurants within 15 minutes walking, but it is difficult to arrange transportation to Ubud. The airport is at some 30 Km but it takes almost 2 hours to get to and from. I would like to have light so I can read a book in bed

A Perfect Beginning

Everything! The service was excellent. We immediately felt welcomed and taken care of. The room was large and I loved the layout, which included a balcony. They truly thought of everything we needed and couldn't have been more helpful. (Water, adaptors, beach towels, soap, shampoo,etc. The grounds were gorgeous and very well cared for. We were very pleased with the shuttles too. Our drivers were knowledgeable and went above and beyond. Thank you everyone.

We had a most wonderful, relaxing stay at this stunning, tranquil resort. Loved it!

Breakfast was excellent, great value and lovely food. The resort was very quiet and tranquil and aesthetically it was stunning. The 1919 spa was wonderful; we chose the special couple's package and the massage and scrub was divine. We finished off the treatment with a bath which contained roots and herbs which was delightful! The staff were the most attentive of any hotel I have ever stayed in, and the rooms even had humidifiers!.........I would recommend this resort to anyone!

Unfortunately, the pool bar was not open but that was really a very minor issue. there are a lot of stairs to get to the different areas of the resort which would not be suitable for someone in a wheelchair. I have issues with my knees and found it a little tricky, but I was fine and managed to get around pretty well.

The property is beautiful in the rainforest, we booked the Wooden Pool Villa

unfortunately the service did not meet the expectations for a 4-star hotel. During our 2-night stay, we struggled to get enough drinking water even after asking multiple times, despite clearly explaining our health concerns. Additionally, loud construction noise from neighboring properties started early in the morning, which disrupted our rest. For the price paid, this was disappointing. I hope they improve their service for future guests.

Great place as long as you do not mind the climb stairs

Breakfast was very nice and lots of choices. The resort is very well maintained and looks very nice indeed. When we asked straff for anything they where very accomadating. so a very good experience overall.

The draw back for the resort is that is build on a steep hill so there is a lot of stairs climbing to do when you want to leave the hotel, go for breakfast etc.

Relaxing stay

We had a short but very nice and relaxing stay in this hotel. It is a beautiful hotel, the nature around makes it very special. The rooms are very spacious, antique style. The breakfast option was very wide, the best thing is that you can order it to your room and enjoy it from the terrace. The staff were very kind and always helpful. We really liked this place.

They are a bit too pushy with the services they provide - spa, dinners, cocktail and lunch deals, but overall it is an amazing place.

Our room (Koru Suite with Yoga) was beautiful. It was spacious and we loved the outdoor bed, bath and patio. We had the upstairs pool to ourselves. The downstairs pool was equally beautiful, it was just a pity it rained so much during our stay. Breakfast was great (once we worked out the system). Yoga teacher was fabulous, free activities (offering and boreh making) were fun, too. The staff were so kind and thoughtful. The location has short walks to plenty of restaurants and spas.

There were a quite a few mosquitos around. The shuttle into Ubud should run more frequently.

Lovely stay outside of Ubud

Our stay at Korurua Dijiwa was lovely. The grounds are large and well kept, and the staff is very hospitable, trying to help you with anything you need. We had a wooden pool villa with a private pool. The room was quite large, the bathroom was very big, with glass windows and an outdoor bathtub. Breakfast was nice and plenty diverse to not get bored in 4 days. We also had the massage which was quite relaxing. The hotel is outside of Ubud and offers a shuttle service or you can take a taxi.

The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The environment of the hotel is very nice, as if you are staying in a forest, intertwined with nature. The rooms are very big and cosy. A gorgeous garden retreat for rest and rejuvenation

Korurua Dijiwa Ubud is an upmarket resort with an intimate atmosphere set in lush gardens. The grounds are a spectacle of greenery with ponds and little rivulets adding a soft gurgling soundscape to the visual scene. The sheer variety of shrubs, trees and plants provide a smorgasbord of colours, shapes and textures. I often wandered the gardens to wonder at whats on display. The rooms and chalets, set apart from each other, ensure that guests have their private sanctuary amidst the greenery. Do note that the place is not disabled friendly as there are steps down to the rooms and villas, pools and spa. Many of the pathways are winding and they even have stepping stones across the ponds for those who like to relive their childhood. My room (302) was spacious, clean and comfortable. I spent much of each day on the patio reading and observing the resident squirrels and birds and insects go about their business. While there were plentiful insects, these were never a bother and neither bite nor sting. They play essential roles in pollinating the gardens and keeping them looking verdant. There's a free 1 hour Yoga session each morning as well as complimentary shuttle services to and from the Ubud's touristy Jl. Raya Ubud for souvenir hunters. The restaurant serves a range of dishes and the dishes I had were satisfying. They are confident of their food as evident in how the kitchen is open to being observed by diners seated indoors. The staff, without exception, are attentive, warm and ever so hospitable. My four nights here were restful because of the gardens. This is a place for quiet time and garden therapy.

Very good value for money, but good taste of the room

My room balcony has a very nice view of the valley. Room very sizeable and with good taste of bed linen. The owner shared a lot of good information about local culture, insects, pattern of Bali design, through little letters in the room. Which I really like. I like the online check in which make the process easier and efficient The location is a bit outside of town, around 10mins bike or car drive from city center. But the trade off is hotel is really quite. Located in a very beautifully decorahted village, and there some nice restaurant around.

I don’t like being asked to move from the lobby to restaurant to have the welcome drink. Feel strange and don’t really want to move after a long day of travel. The shower towel looks not so clean.

I think it is expensive for what it is. The Spa area is not situated well as it's near the guests' rooms and you can hear a lot of noise.

Perfect Bali Experience

We had an amazing time at Korurua Dijiwa. The wonderful staff really made our stay special - especially Agung and Tari at reception, and the wonderful staff in the restaurant and at the spa. The food at the restaurant was always delicious and they have multiple dinner events each week, like Balinese dance, Balinese flute and live acoustic music. We had 4 treatments at the spa and they were each great (we especially enjoyed the royal Koru package). A highlight of our stay were the various free classes the hotel offers - we had yoga in the mornings, and also a class with Metha on how to make Boreh and a lovely class with Tari, teaching us how to make the "Canang Sari" offerings. We look forward to staying at Korurua Dijiwa during our next visit to Bali!

A marvellous stay, one of the best I have ever enjoyed and definitely the best during our trip to Bali!

The facilities are incredible: two pools, a spa and an outside space for yoga. The rooms are very carefully decorated in respect of traditional Balinese style, while also providing all the comforts. The staff is incredibly attentive and kind. It was my birthday and they went beyond any expectations to make it a very special day. They even brought a surprise cake and secretly decorated the room. I really appreciated it! They were also extremely helpful in organising transport to Ubud (very quick ride by motorbike or free shuttle) and to our next destination! The breakfast was vey tasty, with a wide selection of both savoury and sweet options, including vegan and vegetarian. It can be served in the room free of charge, which made our stay extra comfortable!

Good, rustic hotel with excellent staff.

Wonderful staff who showed great hospitality and couldn't do enough for us. They arranged for a driver to pick us up from the harbour for a very small fee. His name was Odon. We ended up arranging for him to be our private driver throughout our stay, including a private tour of the rice fields, waterfalls and coffee plantation. Odon was superb and I highly recommend you ask for him to be your driver if you stay in Ubud. We had a private pool room which was definitely very private. The room was HUGE (maybe too big?) and the twice-daily turndown was good. Good food, too!

This place is pretty rustic. For instance, the doors are all secured with only a sliding wooden bolt, lizards roam about the place leaving little poops everywhere and there are no luxury finishes. However, it still has great appeal, very in-keeping with the location. I only call this out because it's not everyone's cup of tea. While in the spa, we overheard a solo-travelling lady complaining about this while the management tried to allay her concerns. This didn't make for a great spa experience for us and clearly wasn't what the solo-traveller wanted either. Other than these points, we loved our stay here.
