Very friendly stuff, thanks to everybody! Special thank to Septia! District is not too crowded, but still near the center.

We had a wonderful experience during our stay. The entire staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. My wife does not speak English, and the team went above and beyond to ensure effective communication was found. We especially want to recognize Septia for her exceptionally special and thoughtful assistance.
All was 10/10

Amazing hotel with the best staff. Had a wonderful stay - great room, really nice pool and restaurant. The staff was incredible and made me feel so welcome and taken care off. The location is great - shops nearby and short grab drive to center of ubud. Great breakfast and afternoon tea. Definitely coming back here if I ever come to ubud again.

We got to the property around 11 and the room was ready so we where able to do early check-in, the people that work there are super nice, polite and are there all the time making sure you are having the best experience. Room and facilities where super clean and well maintained. Also the restaurant is delicious and has so many options!
If we are ever back in Ubud we would definitely will repeat.

Location was not bad but we came over in bad time - big ceremony all street was closed and we can’t even drive and locals ask us to park bikes 10 minutes away from our hotel.
Our room was really dark and old with mold smell

Nice swimming pool, location was also pretty fine, breakfast was good. There was a leak in the toilet that was fixed very quickly.
They made a breakfast box for us when we had to leave before breakfast time and it was really delicious.
Disfunctional mosquito net, because the head of the bed didn’t have a mosquito net, it didn’t make sense to use it. Besides that, the net touched the floor, was dirty and had mold in it.
Despite the staff being nice, it was hard to communicate in English especially at the restaurant, and we found the food overpriced and not really high-quality.
On one day they left the door unlocked after the cleaning - we were out the whole day and luckily nothing was stolen

Peaceful location away from the busy streets of Ubud. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff.

Beautiful place. Small enough to feel like home but roomy enough to have quiet space and relax
The rooms are beautiful decorated
With all the things you need. Bed is big and comfortable.
Food in the restaurant was one of the best we tried during our trip and the personnel was extremely friendly and professional
The place is a 25 min walk to the centre or a short ride, there are many restaurants and shops around

What a gem of a place. We had one of the three villas set into the lush gardens and which share a separate pool from the rest of the rooms. The most enormous amount of work goes into maintaining the grounds and upkeep is obviously important. Windows get cleaned very often, I saw shower heads and filters being cleaned and polished. The pool is ultra clean.
Such a vital element of a hotel is the staff, here very well lead by Septia. She has obtained a real team spirit where everyone is pleasant and helpful, to each other as well as the guests. Nothing was too much trouble.
We spent hours on our quiet verandah, birdsong in the morning, a frog grunting in the evenings. It was perfect for is.
The food is good, lots of free water available and the clothes cleaning service very quick and cheap. Aircon in the room worked very well indeed.
Of the very many hotels we have stayed in this is a favourite.
Nothing at all.

Small but really good value . Staff were very attentive and septia was very helpful . Food was very good . Ate there all the time we were in Ubud .
Only small problem was the hairdryer didn’t get hot due to poor voltage and no conditioner in shower .just would help if you could style hair after washing it .
We would definitely go back there

You can also eat in the hotel and the meals are very nice.

I am not afraid saying that this is one of the best hotel I have ever been. Everything was perfect starting from the staff, they are gentle, nice, and always available to help you. Rooms are big and the 2 pools they have are very nice and "invite" people dive into those waters. Location is close to Ubud centrum and it is an oasi in the middle of the traffic jam (for those who have been there, they know what I am talking about) and it is very quite and silent. Food is delicious, every dish is express since they cook right after the order. I suggest the guests to have a relaxing dinner at their restaurant since it is very very good. Congrats to the staff!
Nothing, everything was perfect.

Very happy with the facilities on offer. Staff were friendly and accommodated our needs and extra requests (single beds, earlier breakfast, luggage storage, taxis etc).
The hotel is located off the busy street - 15-20 mins walk from the nearest restaurant… still good value for money and there was no noise.
10.0 / 10.0
The hotel is located at walking distance (20-30 minutes) from the main attractions in Ubud (monkey forest, Ubud Palace). Rooms are wide, comfortable and they are cleaned every day as well as towels regularly changed. Breakfast is not buffet but is abundant and good, with possibility to have a to go box for early excursions. The restaurant offers good quality meals and is open also for lunch and dinner. The staff are very friendly
As somebody mentioned in other reviews there’s a cock nearby singing often at early morning, but you’ll find earplugs in your room as soon as you arrive
7.0 / 10.0
The property is nice in general. Staff very attentive and helpful. The pool is nice, food is also good.
Rooms could be cleaner. They clean them every day and that’s fine. But due to humidity, they should have more thorough cleaning every once in a while (i.e. tiles, wood). A That’s the only thing we saw as a downside.

Clean, spacious, great food, great customer service and beautifully designed rooms
Would benefit from more options for breakfast but current options are also very tasty

Great tropical gardens. Great location. Great staffs. Great nasi goreng at breakfast cafe.
The mold
On the accent tiles…. Looks scary and water from shower running to bedroom.

The location setup was great. Really live to have my breakfast at the room balcony in front of the swimming. Arrangements like massages were well organized. Staff was also really helpful with all kind of information, and always smiling.
To make orders to the restaurant you always have to go there which sometimes when you want to be lazy can be annoying. I would rather have another way direct communication like a WhatsApp or call.

We liked everything about this place,in particular the cozy atmosphere, the garden and a lot of greenery. Our room was clean, spacious, with big and comfortable bed. Swimming pool was just in front of our room, very accessible, and it was really nice swimming in the evenings for cooling down and relaxation.
Breakfast was good, with some standard options (pancakes, eggs, fruit etc). We also had dinner a few times which was ok, but after soeme days the menu can become repetitive.
The place is kind of hidden, tucked away from the main road, which was busy especially in the mornings and afternoons. The location is not central, but the main attractions can be reached by walking, although sidewalks are quite ruined and there is a lot of noise and dust due to the traffic. We preffered taxi to reach the Ubud center, but sometimes it took quite long due to heavily congested roads (despite relatively short distance.).
Nevertheless I would recommend the location, as entering Puri Andong Villa had a healing effect after experiencing crazy Ubud traffic, crowds and noise everywhere...
There are a lot of souvenir shops along the main road selling items at much lower prices than in the center or Ubud market.
Staff was very helpfull and efficient.
There was just one thing that I can think of : the lightning could be better, at least in the bathroom.
I would not recommend this place for romantic couples, since there is little privacy due to other guests walking by our room all the time. We did not mind, but some might find it annoying.

Its very clean and definitely the staff are super helpful and friendly. Easy to communicate with and they were very tentative.
The TV is smart TV 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼.
if you are light sleepers like me the roaster kept waking me up every single morning.
The reviews were very misleading about the location definitely not a walking distance to anything.
The location wasn’t convenient to the center neither to the attraction places.
Had to order grab bike to every single place and no cars will arrive due to the traffic. One time 3 cars orders cancelled on me.

really very nice and clean hotel, prices are not too high, food is tasty, staff is exceptionally polite. you can rent a scooter on site or they will arrange one for you from the rental company. close to the center of ubud, big shop nearby - what more could you want??

Clean room and facilities as well as fantastic food from the hotel restaurant. They have a good selection of dishes from around the world as well as traditiona Balinese food. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Septia who helped us with any questions and queries we had. Overall it was a great experience!

Great facilities and service, very friendly staff
Next to a busy street with nice shops (though rooms are quiet); not too far from Ubud’s city center

The villa we had was extremely tradition Balinese, the bathroom was spacious and recently upgraded for the price it was good, nice pool and surrounds, good parking.
Breakfast was average and we spent extra for a spa bath room, a total waste of money because first the hot ran out within minutes and the flow of water would have taken hours to fill, so TOTALLY POINTLESS. The rounded have a musty smell, which I accept as they villas are older traditional dwellings, so I had no issue with this.

Located in central ubud. Comfortable and cozy. Very friendly and attentive staff.
Soundproofing can be better but not a major concern

The staff were very polite and kind. One day I left & hadn't told anyone I'd left (when my ride came there wasn't anyone at the reception) but when I arrived later that night (midnight) someone came to let me in & though it was my own fault for not informing them I was returning late, they were very understanding.
Some of the loveliest and welcoming people I've ever met (especially at a hotel/villa).
The views were stunning to wake up to. I was a bit worried about coming in April and rain but though it was humid the weather was awesome.
The villa is decorated beautifully and the room was nice & spacious (but I was a solo traveller).
I liked (& I know some people may not) the fact it wasn't as full of other tourists (Ubud in general) as other areas in Bali (e.g. I went to Canggu and it sometimes felt like I was seeing just as many tourists as Balinese people) so I do feel like it has a more authentic Bali experience. However, if you do want to be around more tourists or have as many options as they do in areas like Canggu the Grab ride (by car) for me was approx $250000 IDR - it was even cheaper ($90,000) for a Grab bike but the distance is quite long for a motorbike ride.
There were some little ants in my room on the last day but they likely entered when I would open the door.
The food was nice for the price it was but definitely got better outside the premise. Do bare in mind that though they don't charge for room service, the prices on the menu don't include tax & service charge.
As a solo traveller I didn't feel as safe leaving my villa alone, but if you do, I don't think there would be anything wrong with it.

The stayed at Puri Andong for nearly 2 weeks, our room was very comfy with a big bed , tv , hot shower and great internet. We loved being able to walk out to the pool , and we were well looked after on during the day of silence.
The staff were all so kind and helpful. They offered a laundry service which was always back within the day and so helpful.
I worked remotely from the room, and there is also a co working basically next door which was very affordable.
One thing I think they could offer is a water tank in reception where you could fill up your water flasks.
The restaurant was nice, and mainly Indonesian based, if you are after avocado toast or açai ( like I was , sorry I’m one of those) you’ll have to go into town. They did have vegetarian options though!
We slept very well as it was very quiet , you can walk many places and we liked the coffee shop close by which had a lovely corgie dog

We came to Ubud from the West seeking a calm and restful beginning to our journey, especially with the time zone adjustment. We stayed for nine nights, and this beautiful property gave us exactly the environment we needed to unwind.
Location-wise, it’s just a 5-minute motorcycle ride from the iconic Ubud Water Palace—close enough to the heart of Ubud while still offering a peaceful retreat. The property itself is absolutely stunning. If you're coming from the West, do yourself a favor and book this place—it’s truly worth it.
The rooms are impeccable, with thoughtful attention to detail that makes them incredibly welcoming for long stays. Cleanliness was flawless—definitely a 5 out of 5. The service and staff? Also 5 out of 5. The ambient lighting in the room created a very cozy and calming vibe—again, a solid 5 out of 5.
A couple of areas for gentle improvement: the bathroom lighting, especially around the mirror, could be a bit brighter. And while the food quality was good, the variety felt a bit limited—especially as vegetarians staying for over a week. After a few days, the menu started to feel repetitive, so we found ourselves sticking mostly to the fresh fruits in the mornings.
That said, the staff really made the experience special. On several nights, we ordered food from outside, and they warmly offered to reheat it, serve it on proper plates, and bring it right to our room—such a thoughtful gesture.
The pool area is another highlight—relaxing by the waterfall was one of our favorite pastimes. Even when we were resting indoors due to jet lag and requested late room cleaning, the staff accommodated us with genuine hospitality. On a rainy day, we found umbrellas already placed outside our room—another small but meaningful touch that showed how well the team anticipates guests' needs.
In short, while there’s a bit of room to improve with the bathroom lighting and menu variety, our stay was filled with warmth, beauty, and restful moments.

Excellent stay. Rooms were clean, newly renovated/built, and all the facilities were top notch.
The pool was clean and beautiful.
Bar had really good juices and drinks. Staff was extremely welcoming.
Ordered a floating breakfast and it was really good. They also gave us fresh fruit from the tree in the villa because I was curious of what it tastes like.
No downside.
