The view, the room, the bed and services are most enjoyable. I was really tired with work and I wanted to rest without outside noise. The room and the property is exactly what I was imagine. I wake up feeling blessed and energised ....the room give us such a privacy and exlusive feeling. The property is not crowded as well. The serviced provided for any facilities are exceptional as well. you feel like they are willing to provide you the best service so that you have enjopyable stay.

You are the best

I stayed at Kanyon Valley and was shocked at how different the reality was from the photos and promises. The atmosphere is dark, heavy, and claustrophobic, with curtains that make the entire room feel gloomy rather than serene. Instead of a peaceful jungle retreat, the space felt stale and poorly designed, absolutely not what you expect when you’re paying premium prices. The staff was absolutely unhelpful, made me wait three hours to check out, asked for my FULL card number upon check out, sent to them by email! Who asks for someone’s full card number?

The property is beautiful. The room doesn't feel like a room. It's like living in nature. It's stunning.

I wouldn't say I didn't like it, but I did get nervous when wasps and monkeys came onto my balcony.

One of the most incredible hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Very private and exclusive feel. The pool and hot tub villa is out of this world.

Naturally, there’s many bugs so be prepared to deal with them.

Alot of steps and steep walk ways could be dangerous in wet conditions. The pool in the room was cold and unusable should be heated.

Wow. Where to start. The staff were pretty much impeccable, the location: stunning (with the valley-facing pool, jacuzzi and restaurants an absolute spectacle). The room is cleaned and organised twice a day (one post-wake up and another to set up for sleep). The gym is basic but has many of the best kinds of machines, so an avid gym goer will be able to workout well without feeling like they’re compromising too much. The breakfast is great (even for vegans) and the evening restaurants offer a great variety of dishes and drinks for a very reasonable price. This hotels feels very exclusive and calm, which allows you to really enjoy the facilities while also having a nice vibe to it. The shuttle service into Ubud (which you can walk to) and the Kayon Jungle operates multiple times a day and allows you to enjoy the best of the busier and bigger sister resort for free, while also giving you the choice of visiting Ubud and Ubud market, which the Kayon Jungle (being further away) may do but not at the same rate of convenience. We also got a room upgrade, which was lovely and had the monkeys come to our balcony on every sunny day which was a lovely experience.

A few more hot vegan/plant-based options at dinner would have made it a 10/10. Also, the monkeys love the jacuzzi, which is hilarious and incredible to witness, but, if we’re being objective it probably isn’t the most hygienic, so an easy fix would have been a jacuzzi cover so that can be avoided and the monkeys can just enjoy the balcony without frolicking too much in the jacuzzi (although I can’t blame them).

Everything from beginning to end. The definition of excellency. During whole stay they treat you like you are the most important guest there! Everything you can imagine they will fulfill. Location of hotel is amazing. In the middle of the pristine nature (jungle), surrounded by beautiful tropical forest, with cute monkey visitors. The hotel is well equipped with all you need. They have beautiful pool overlooking canyon where you can relax, or if you prefer every villa has they own. Spa offers variety of treatments which we used few times (and we were truly satisfied- special thanks to Juli and Sofia). There is possibility of morning yoga or gym (anytime). Hotel offers pick up at airport, and we also used their driver to go to our next destination in Seminyak Beach (we definitely advise you to do that to avoid taxi bargains) . Also there is free hotel shuttle services to and from Ubud city center which we found very convenient (if you want to do some shopping or local dining). While we stay there we got recommendations for day/half day trips around Ubud. Hotel organized private driver and guide for us (amazing Mr.Yogi, who, as a local, showed us more than we can get from any other tourist company, with hidden gems, skip the line access to major sights, and we finished day in one of the most beautiful jungle observation deck drinking Luwak coffee). Let me tell you more about food. Breakfast is breathtaking (rooftop terrace overlooking jungle and whole resort) and delicious (many options, all customized for you). All staff there were so nice and caring (specially Ina). For all this impressions we would like to thank Niki and Adi (reception) who made this vacation like a dream. Very kind, possitivw personel, perfect nature

The whole resort was amazing, the rooms, the view, the pools and the staff ♥ The traditional food menu is definitely the way to go.

Breakfast was great, and really enjoy restaurant in the evening with entertainment, high quality food. Rooms were great had a good time !

No complaints

The pool villa was just a delight. It's clean, peaceful, perfect place to relax & meditate in front of the private pool while watching the jungle. There are sunbeds near the pool, as well as a sofa and a table where you can chill under the shadow. Hotel's restaurant is one of the best in Ubud. We ordered breakfast to the room once, the service was perfect. We felt extremely safe and at home during our short stay at Kayon Valley Resort. The staff was very responsive and determined to help us with all our needs. Hoping to be back!

A bit dangerous walking around as hilly

Best of all? The hotel chooses not to inform guests about this little detail beforehand, ensuring that the sound of jackhammers is as surprising as it is relentless. So, if you’ve always wanted to feel at home — assuming your home is an active construction zone — look no further. Paradise found!

Everything was perfect — if you’re looking to spend your vacation on a construction site.

The villa was amazing. Awesome view over the jungle. The private little pool with the long chairs were very useful for the lazy days where you just want to chill. The staff is so friendly and nice we literally felt like we became friends with them we will miss them when we depart. Best breakfasts ever! Free shuttles to the other Kayon resorts and to Ubud market are an awesome plus and we loved it.

Beautiful resort where we spent 4 days and luckily Nyepi ! All the staff is so friendly and helpful The dancers in the evening, our villa with the monkeys, the spa and the food … everything was perfect and we had a fantastic time 🫶🙏

We had another amazing stay at The Kayon Valley Resort and would definitely recommend. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and have beautiful private pools and views. The hotel service is exceptional. Every staff member we encountered were committed to ensuring we had a great experience. The location is also great with the hotel being only a short ride into Ubud centre. We can’t wait to return!

The jungle views were stunning and the pool in our backyard was great. The staff was also very helpful. Shoutout to Indah for being extra nice and meeting all our needs!

Absolutely stunning everything from the villa to the bed linen and extras in the room it was amazing, the staff were so welcoming and went above and beyond for us making a dream stay a reality. We paid for the starry night movie and had room service filler steak with cocktails it was perfect and would highly recommend to anyone.

Beautiful setting, very helpful staff and the landscaping and gardens were stunning. The restaurant and breakfast were great. The view out to the valley was perfect.

Beautiful setting but one couldn’t help feel they were at all times reaching for more money, charging for small micro transactions like an American style hotel. Again, beautiful place and helpful staff - but with the wear and tear and high price probably not the best value for money

The nature that surrounds the place, the restaurant and the hospitality of the staff is wonderful. Overall exceptional experience.

There are bugs and insects in the room which is understandable since the resort is in the middle of the jungle. But the staff always cleaned the room and got rid of any bugs they managed to see.

Amazing stuff!! Everyone was so kind, helpfull, frinedly. They knew us by our names and we knew them. The resort is small, so it is definitely not anonymous, which we loved. Thank you!! Delicious food, great choice of breakfast + special programs for the dinners. Cool!
