The Kayon Valley Resort Ubud

After weeks of research, my husband and I chose this hotel for our honeymoon. The reviews gave us a glimpse of what to expect, but none of them truly captured the experience. The Kayon is a blend of breathtaking scenery, serenity, warm energy, and genuinely attentive staff. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed with a refreshing drink and a thoughtful overview of the amenities—shuttles to Ubud Center and their sister property, Kayon Jungle; daily walks; yoga classes; guided tours; nightly performances; an incredible breakfast; and so much more. When we reached our room, we were greeted with a beautifully decorated bed and a small honeymoon cake. The room itself was perfect for two, with a spacious bathroom and a bathtub overlooking our private infinity pool, also decorated for the occasion. The outdoor area became our favorite place to unwind, nap, or simply take in the view. Although our room was located at the bottom of a small hill, we could request a golf cart at any time to take us anywhere on the property. We enjoyed breakfast, poolside lunches, dinners, spa treatments, and a hotel-organized tour—each experience felt unique and memorable. The property is stunning, but what truly elevates this hotel is its people. The staff made us feel welcomed, celebrated, and cared for during every moment of our stay. Beautiful country, beautiful people, unforgettable memories. If you’re searching for the perfect place, look no further—this is it.

We stayed at the Kayon resort when we first arrived in Bali. The staff was amazing and very attentive. Our room was lovely and the view on the jungle was great. Breakfast is also amazing, one of the best breakfast we had in a hotel before. They have a shuttle avalaible to the centre of Ubud which is helpful. Overall would love to come back again.

My wife and I stayed at Kayon Valley Ubud for five nights for our honeymoon, and it was honestly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely spectacular. Every single request we made, whether it was food, amenities, or anything else, was taken care of without hesitation. The staff went above and beyond in every way. They even upgraded our room to a valley view, which was unbelievable. Waking up every morning to that view was something special. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and felt like a peaceful retreat. Everyone we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. It felt like they truly cared about making our stay memorable. We had monkeys visiting us by the pool, which added to the whole feeling of being surrounded by nature. The location itself is perfect — quiet, relaxing, and just the right distance from the heart of Ubud. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, recharge, and be completely taken care of, this is the place. From the food to the cleanliness, the comfort to the calm atmosphere, everything was beyond what we expected. A huge thank you to the entire team at Kayon Valley. I absolutely LOVEDDDDDD our stay here. We stayed at Deluxe villa. Staff are all kind and friendly, The rooms are spacious. The main pool was super clean, well maintained and empty most of the time, deep enough (150cm)for a serious swimmers. I rarely ran into people in the resort except dinner time. Anyone who's finding a secluded spot this is perfect resort. Definitely coming back.
