everything is fine but the bathtub not really clean, so when i arrived, i need to clean it before take a bath

A perfect stay for me in Ubud, lovely room, big size and bathroom, easy access to the pool, nice outdoor spaces and quiet even if it's on one of the main roads, 30min walk to center of Ubud

We were there for 5 nights in the big room with the thatched roof (room ***) one of the days there we were told housekeeping had lost their key to our room - concerning. The next day we went out for around 6 hours came back and housekeeping had left the key in the door and hadn’t even locked it - luckily nothing was stolen. Halfway through our stay we asked for clean towels and bedsheets, the new ones we were provided both had little stains on. And if I were you, I wouldn’t look inside the pillowcase at the pillow itself (black marks which I can only assume was mold). There are also lots of ants about, especially in the bathroom but you get used to that pretty quickly. We didn’t use the pool because it felt a bit awkward with other people's rooms being right on the poolside who just stare at you when you walk past. Other than that, it was fine, location was decent, very quiet even though you’re on a busy road and if you don’t mind a 20-minute walk into the main strip. compared to the hotel we had to abandon before this one it was paradise.
