Perfect getaway with medieval vibes

I absolutely loved staying in this medieval tower whose walls were 1m thick and kept the appartment cool. The ancient structure/wall stones/wooden beams were integrated into the interior design and gave it a special touch. I felt a bit like Rapunzel. The appartment was furnished with a full kitchen, dining table, couch, bedroom and bathroom. All was well kept and very clean. The torre is centrally located and a short walk from the sights as well as about 10min to either of the 2 train stations. The communication with the 2 hosts via WhatsApp was easy & very friendly. I hope to come back next year for an extended stay!

Comfortable and convenient to everything

I arrived on the day of a general strike, and was not sure when or even if I was going to be able to get to the property that day. My hosts were very kind and communicative the whole time and I was eventually able to get a train that arrived not too late, so even better

Very good value for money and location, but dirty and noisy

Perfect location, well equipped, spacious, cheap

The appartement is very spacious and well equipped, but dirty. The floor was full of dust and little pieces of dirt. The dishes weren’t done and there were hairs in the bathroom. The appartement is also extremely noisy, you hear everything that happens in the street. Also, to get the keys, you need the code to a box situated at the door. I told the owners at what time a would arrive a day in advance, and again the morning of my stay, but they sent the code just when I arrived, and I happened to have an issue with my phone so that wasn’t very practical. They should give you the code earlier

Very nice stay in lovely location

Excellent location right in the city centre. The owners were very well organised, even for the late checkin and early checkout. The apartment is inside a medieval tower and the style is very nice. The apartment has everything you could need and the kitchenette was quite well furnished.

The shutters on the bedroom windows would not close properly and let in a lot of light in the morning. The pillows on the bed were very large and very uncomfortable.

A beautiful place where you can feel like at home

A beautiful flat in the middle of Viterbo. I think the photos don't show how nice the flat really is. Bed was a realy comofrtable one and bedroom located in an old tower is a place to fall in love with! It is a perfect place if you need to work there too, as there is a big table and the Internet connection is perfect! The owners are very helpful. I definately will be staying there any time I am in Viterbo!

It is very central and easy to reach from both Viterbo train stations. Pleasantly furnished, especially thd bedroom with its art deco nightstands. Very spacious and clean. Easy communication with the host and smooth check in

The pillows very rock hard, impossible to sleep on. The bedsheets and towels, although clean, were quite worn out and shabby. A curtain on the bedroom window would be a great improvement - the partially broken shutter lets in a lot of street light. A lot of traffic on the road outside, it is very loud, also during the night. A proper lamp on the nightside table would be welcome

Central location yet very quiet...few motor vehicles, mostly pedestrian traffic. Corner location with streets surrounding swept and cleaned by the city nearly every day. Close to everything of interest 5 to 15 min walks to most parts of city inside the walls. Surrounded by small fresh food shops within 5 -10 mins walk, small city supermkt 10 min walk. Apt is on primo piano, so only one flight of stairs to the inner entry door. Renovations all very nicely done personally by the owners. All spaces were kept very clean. Very good size for one or two people. Did not use sofa-bed in living room for sleeping this time, but it was like new, good condition, and could suit additional guests for sleeping; bathroom location can be shared without guests walking through bedroom and sofa-bed sleeping area. Kitchen nice and adequately equipped for real cooking and cleaning up. Good shower and water temp, pressure. Good operable metal window sash, all windows and shutters worked well, allowed nice views of streets, control of light, noise, air. Heat very comfortable and thermostat responsive. Internet also good.

A somewhat minor point: The booking ad listed a washing machine, but that was no longer provided. Not a real problem for me, but the ad should be corrected...most visitors probably don't need laundry during a stay of a few to several nights.

Original apartment, but unfortunately quite noisy

The apartment has an exceptional location into a medieval tower. It is wel equipped and was very clean. It's a 10 minutes walk from Viterbo Porta Romana station. Communication through Whatsapp with the owners was fluent, although it was not always clear which one to contact.

The only reason why I'm not giving a perfect score, is because the room is noisy. The walls may be super thick, but the windows are very old and single glass. As a result, you hear all the noises from the street. So not an ideal place for light sleepers. I was able to sleep thanks to good wax earplugs.

Excellent location in the historical center, 15 minutes walk to the train station. Own old tower, at the same time a modern lodging with all amenities. Unique atmosphere. Hospitable hosts. Clean, comfortable. To the Terme dei Papi by city bus 30 minutes.

Consigliato! Posizione ottima ed appartamento comodo e confortevole. A disposizione anche un ventilatore ma nonostante le temperature estive esterne non è servito. Parcheggio gratuito vicino la struttura. Ottima comunicazione con la proprietaria, sempre disponibile.

Le scale ripide per accedere all'appartamento , scomode in caso di valigie pesanti e/o difficoltà nella deambulazione.

Magnifique appartement, plein de charme et très bien équipé. Je me suis sentie comme à la maison, abritée par les grands murs de la tour. L'emplacement est parfait, près de la gare et des boutiques.

Una posizione affascinante

L'appartamento è nel centro storico, a due passi da Piazza del Plebiscito e da Piazza Fontana Grande. A quattro passi dal quartiere San Pellegrino e cioè dal cuore medievale di Viterbo. È facilmente raggiungibile dal parcheggio di Piazza Martiri d'Ungheria dove ho lasciato l'auto. È tenuto molto bene ed è singolare perché in realtà è ricavato all'interno della torre che gli dà il nome. È arredato con molto buon gusto e rispetta lo spirito del luogo. È completo di tutto quello che può occorrere per una vacanza. Insomma una soluzione affascinante a prezzi ragionevoli.

L'unica pecca la scala un po' ripida che fa impressione la prima volta ma ci si abitua presto .
