Decorated with exquisite taste by its artist owner, this former farm-working monastery belongs to a family who also keeps the adjacent horseback riding facility and grows organic lavender and olives. The setting is lovely and peaceful, the owners are discreet and provide friendly, reliable service and serve a breakfast of local produce adapted to the guests taste, including delicious homebaked pies. The wonderful friendly watchdog and carefully led riding lessons on ponies make it wonderful for children. It is a little piece of heaven for family-friendly contemplation, located on a quiet road carved underneath the historic city of Viterbo. The pool with saltwater in the carefully kept garden adds to the charm. The products of the estate can be bought in the small shop and are wonderful. The owners provide excellent recommendations for restaurants visited by locals, however I do wish they'd serve a simple dinner at the estate because it's too beautiful to leave. The rooms all come equipped with a kitchenette and small fridge, though.

Nothing really! One small matter of preference - for aesthetic reasons there are no mosquito nets, meaning one needs to be careful about opening windows in the summer and having lights on in the evening.

This place was realy charming. Apartman was completely new furnished and looks fantastic. We appreciate realy comfortable bed. Hostess Anna is very kind and she took realy good of us. By the way, she baked the greatest cakes for breakfast. We would love to come back sometimes.

Great breakfast. Excellent swimming pool. Right in the middle of the Tagliata Etrusca: very picturesque! Very friendly hosts, always ready to help you with restaurant tips.

The house is wonderful.

There are quite a lot of flies that come into the room if the windows are open.

Breakfast, lovely pool and grounds, horses, tractors our son loved, room was lovely, plenty to do within the area (up to 1 hour drive), lovely hosts, would highly recommend 😊

La colazione ottima ma non a buffet.

Luogo curato e con tante accortezze e attenzioni per gli ospiti. Vicinissimo al centro di Viterbo ma comunque resta un luogo bucolico. Fantastici tutti i servizi, la colazione, il quotidiano la mattina, la piscina con i teli. Tutto talmente curato addirittura il sapone alla lavanda prodotto da loro. Consigliatissimo!

De gerestaureerde gebouwen, de tuinen en de plantenbakken, het zwembad, alles is heel mooi en met zog onderhouden. Een heerlijke plek 700 m buiten de stadmuren van Viterbo. Hartelijke ontvangst
