Located in fabulous medieval building, but no aircon.

Fabulous room in medieval house in UNESCO (soon) designed part of Viterbo. Magnificent views from window. Located in area full of restaurants and bars.

It was a very hot day. The room faces west and there is no airconditioning, but otherwise it was a truly magical experience.

Because there is no elevator, carrying your suitcases upstairs was a bit of a challenge. Other than that, everything was fine and good 😊

First time, not easy to find. Whrn you enter "Alloggio Turisco" google could not find it. When enter address then o.k. Also when arrive L'incontro. Not shown "Alloggio Turisco" which was indicated in the booking. com. Seems to make bigger name board to find easily + sign board on the near street to find easily.

Location is perfect, right in the medievo center, just a few step from via San Pelligrino ... a beautiful street for walking. Our host recommended an osteria run by his friend Bruno (Hosteria dal Sor Bruno) which was perfect ... delicious, not expensive and local, authentic feel ... this was only 50 steps of so from the B&B. Our host met us on arrival, the place was immaculately clean. Host stayed in contact through whatsapp to make sure that all of our needs were met.

Breakfast was standard. But, given the pandemic regulations (we were alerted about not being able to have a full breakfast in the house) it was OK.

This is a perfect base from which to explore Viterbo and the surrounding area

Federico the host was very friendly, hospitable and helpful. He provided excellent recommendations for places to visit during our stay in Viterbo, and really knows the area. He accommodated our arrival at a time earlier than expected with no problems. He also provided an historical overview of the building and room. The room itself was one of the best guest rooms in a B&B or hotel in which we have stayed - complete with kitchenette, private courtyard, large refrigerator stocked with breakfast essentials, well-functioning AC, a good coffee maker and they even provided orthopedic pillows. We would gladly stay again and hope to return. The location is perfect for visiting all of Viterbo and being able to return back to the B&B transiting the medieval quarter.

I really cannot think of anything to fault the facilities or service. I think this is one of the best B&B / hotel guest rooms in which I have ever stayed.

The Charm of Medieval Viterbo

Excellent location in historic Viterbo minutes to everything…..restaurants, bars, shopping, sightseeing and more. Our host Federico and his family were gracious and accommodating throughout our 3 days. He was only a text away and responded almost immediately. Full COVID protocols were adhered to. In lieu of serving breakfast due to COVID, the mini fridge was well stalked and the coffee maker set to go at all times. The beds were extremely comfortable and the a/c added to the comfort as needed. The 2 rooms are definitely separate affording privacy to each. Wishing Federico and his fiancé a wonderful on their upcoming marriage in September and we hope you get your wish to come to Toronto in the dead of winter to experience the cold and snow.

Amazing service and wonderful building.

Everything was shiny clean and tidy. Wonderful building and amazing service, full of attention for the clients. A very nice breakfast was provided, although not in a buffet for COVID safety measures.

Some of the bedrooms are upstairs and the stairs are quite steep, so it's probably not suitable for all. Given how Viterbo is built on a hill, the parking is ten minutes away from the B&B.

Un palais historique bien placé, beau extérieurement mais certaines chambres exigües et vieillottes.

L'emplacement était génial. La réceptionniste était tout à fait charmante. La chambre pour 2 personnes en sous sol était fraiche et spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et bon.

Les chambres pour 1 et 3 personnes au deuxième étage étaient étriquées, très vieillottes et très chaudes à l'arrivée. Le salon du 1er étage était un musée inutilisable. La cuisine était très fouillis et très chargée. Le cadre du petit déjeuner était peu charmant rappelant une cantine.
