Beautiful Apartment in a central location

This is a very large apartment with very high ceilings! It's in a central location in a lovely old building. There's a pleasant balcony leading off the kitchen and dining area - great for an alfresco breakfast. Somewhere it said that the kitchen was shared - no its private. There is no electric kettle - it's a small gas kettle. (The water is hard - I'd guess an electric one would scale up too quickly.) It's rather fun - it felt like camping :) We tended to live in the dining area where the light was best and Elena had thoughtfully provided leaflets from the tourist office suggesting places to visit.

Not a negative - just a comment. The information given to booking.com implies that the restaurant is part of this establishment. This is not the case. It has no menu posted outside and had very few clientele all week. We decided to visit it on our last night only to find it fully booked! Irony! For those who need plug converters - there was only one socket that took the standard European 2-pin plug. The other sockets expect a narrower 2-pin plug.

Brilliant! We felt immediately at home.

The host, Elena, is very friendly and helpful. The propery defies belief: it is huge and stunning. The rooftop terrace is super, the location cannot be better. The beds are very comfortable.

Very little to compain about in general. We did miss an electric coffee machine and an electric kettle. More comfortable chairs would also be good, as would be bedside tables.

Perfect Location and a Beautiful Apartment

Elena is a fantastic host - so friendly and helpful! The location couldn't be more perfect and a bonus are the fine restaurants in the piazza just steps from the front door of this historic building. This unit is HUGE! The highlight for me was the large terrace with access off the kitchen and dining area.

Bellissimo appartamento in centro Viterbo

Casa bellissima, particolare, a me è sembrato di entrare in un appartamento anni 70, soffitti alti i mobili un po' retrò spazi ampissimi,mi è piaciuta tantissimo l'atmosfera della casa,è un appartamento che ti fa tornare indietro nel tempo pur mantenendo le comodità del nostro tempo. Molto grande, noi eravamo in 5 ma fossimo stati il doppio lo spazio avanzava ugualmente, la posizione è centralissima, quando si esce dal portone si è nel centro storico di Viterbo subito immersi nella vita della città. Elena la proprietaria della casa è stata stupenda accogliendoci e dandoci tutte le informazioni e l'aiuto che servivano per passare un ottimo weekend. Per chi cerca di passare del tempo in relax questo appartamento ha le finestre che danno direttamente su una strada principale del centro che di sera si anima parecchio quindi c'è molto rumore dovuto alla vita serale.

Con una lavastoviglie l'appartamento sarebbe veramente perfetto.

Appartamento delizioso e centralissimo

appartamento delizioso, accogliente e arredato con cura, in un palazzo signorile del centro storico di Viterbo. Molto spazioso e luminoso. Dotato anche di un ampio balcone che affaccia su una stradina interna e quindi molto tranquillo. Abbiamo trovato tutto l occorrente per un buon caffe, te e dolcetti. Elena é stata accogliente, super gentile e disponibile.

essendo gli ambienti molto grandi e i soffitti alti, i termosifoni fanno un po fatica a scaldare l'ambiente, ma i letti sono caldi e non mancano i plaid.

Bellezza e sincera accoglienza nel cuore di Viterbo

Un tuffo nella storia, di quando le case venivano costruite con l'idea che l'abitare fosse un luogo di benessere per le persone. La casa settecentesca "La Fontaine" è così, si respira aria di bellezza e cura nel rendere l'arredo in sintonia con l'epoca del palazzetto. Tutto è stato pensato e realizzato con passione e si sente, rispettando la storia della casa, in primis. Il resto è nelle tante recensioni che già raccontano di un luogo molto particolare. Torneremo, perché questa casa ci corrisponde, cosi come la sua proprietaria Elena, tanto da chiederle se non fosse "la casa di famiglia", essendo così calda e accogliente.

Abbiamo apprezzato davvero tutto, e tutto si può migliorare ma non sapremmo cosa suggerire in più.

Come sentirsi a casa propria (magari) a Viterbo

L’appartamento è enorme, la posizione è centralissima, su indicazioni della proprietaria abbiamo lasciato la macchina gratuitamente in un comodo parcheggio dal quale, prendendo un ascensore, in 5 min siamo arrivati alla struttura senza problemi. L’appartamento è enorme, bellissimo, soffitti affrescati, ben attrezzato, e Elena, la proprietaria, molto gentile e premurosa. La posizione è unica, proprio a un passo da tutte le principali attrazioni…L’ideale anche per famiglie con bambini.

Великолепный вариант проживания, в старом центре прекрасного Витербо. Бесплатная огромная парковка, добраться с парковки можно на лифте, ведущем в старый город. Мы были с тяжелыми чемоданами, но совершенно не затруднительно. Сама квартира потрясает воображение. Огромная аристократичная, абсолютно со всеми удобствами. По невероятной цене. Я хочу еще раз вернуться в уютный Витербо и пожить еще там же. Хозяйка Елена - очаровательна и тоже аристократична :)

Appartamento bellissimo, posizione eccellente, host Elena molto gentile e disponibile . Ci ha avvisato che avevamo dimenticato delle cose rendendosi disponibile a spedirle a casa.. cosa dire unica..

Abbiamo avuto un problema con la. Chiave del portone che si é spezzata dentro la serratura. Elena gentilissima la sera tardi é venuta in soccorso. Solo che la mattina dopo non riuscendo ad aprire il portone dalla paura di spezzare anche la seconda chiave abbiamo preferito aspettare che qualcuno del palazzo uscisse. Sapendo che é capitato ad altri Diciamo che andrebbe sistemata …anche per evitare ad Elena di dover arrivare in orari inopportuni

Appartement de rêve où l'on resterait volontiers.

Immense appartement lumineux au 2ème étage d'un immeuble ancien du centre-ville, entièrement à notre disposition. Equipements parfaits. Beaucoup de charme. Cuisine et salle à manger donnent sur la terrasse ensoleillée (sur laquelle nous avons pu monter nos vélos). Salle de bains avec fenêtre. Accueil chaleureux et sympathique d'Elena, la propriétaire.

Les fenêtres, anciennes, laissent un peu passer le bruit de la rue, mais cela reste tout à fait mesuré.
