Welcoming and homely.

From walking into the hotel to complementary mulled wine and mince pies, checking in, drinks in the bar, breakfast and check out the staff couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant. Everywhere was beautifully but tastefully trimmed up for Christmas, creating a very cozy, homely feel. Breakfast choice was exceptional and plenty of it. Would definitely recommend and stay again in future.

Flying Visit

On a flying visit back to UK from Cambodia to see friends and family before Christmas. Having been travelling for almost 24 hrs, I was exhausted when I arrived, but I received a very warm and friendly welcome from the owner who personally showed me to my room. The facilities were excellent, with a power shower, whirlpool bath and a very comfortable bed, so I slept very well. The entire hotel was tastefully decorated with high-end furnishings and the Christmas decorations made the place look very festive. The owners provided a 5 star cooked breakfast, using only high quality products, plenty of choice with fresh fruit, yoghurt and toast etc with good sized portions. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, which was worth every penny, it's just a shame I couldn't stay longer, but I need to be back in Siem Reap for Christmas, as it's our busiest time of the year. But, I now know where to stop if I were to visit Blackpool again.

Wish I had more time to stay and enjoy

Hotel took a late booking and check in time and was very hospitable when I arrived. Room was great and bathroom was spotless like brand new. Breakfast was prompt and really good

The wall paper was a bit "busy" but fun. Didn't notice or distract from a cracking hotel. This was a great find and will use again.

Fabulous stay in a hotel that felt like home.

Very friendly, beautifully decorated and fantastic location with a tram stop just across the road. Cooked to order breakfast with a pot of tea or coffee, delicious There was even a DVD player and dvd’s available free of charge to watch with a tube of Pringles on a cold afternoon. I loved the whirlpool bath with a TV in the bathroom 😀

Absolutely stunning property, carefully chosen decor. All the little details they have thought of. Beautiful communal areas to sit comfortably if wished. Comfortable beds. Room facilities excellent. Felt very cared for! Breakfast wonderful.

Brilliant - do not hesitate to book this place

The owners were absolutely lovely and could not do more to make me feel welcome and my stay comfortable. They were very supportive and understanding when I had to check in late (1am) due to travel disruption. The room was spotless, warm and cozy and was a great size.

A wonderful stay in a gorgeous hotel.

A very friendly atmosphere and excellent service. The decor is sumptuous and very tasteful. Loved the special touches such as the tv in the bathroom, the spa bath, the lighting selection, luxurious furnishings and the comfortable bed. The breakfast was of excellent quality as was the staff and service.

Perfect

From arrival we were in the care of South Beach. Warm welcoming and slick. Taken to our room, every aspect explained, service (Abby is such a star)rooms comfortable and after a chilly Blackpool soaking the jacuzzi bath, complimentary bath robes, bath salts etc perfection. Faultless if only they could order better weather next time LOL 6 stars out of 5

Lovely little stay at Number One South Beach

Just returned from a lovely little stay at Number One South Beach in Blackpool. The accommodation was excellent and Mark the owner was super friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect, super clean, lovely bedding and towels, and all the facilities you would ever need for a little trip away. The bathroom was immaculate and we had the added bonus of a little balcony. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending 'Number One South Beach' to family and friends and we've already booked to stay again.

The hosts made you feel like part of the family from the moment you arrive they couldn’t do enough for you, this goes for all the staff. Breakfast was exceptional always cooked well and the orange juice best I’ve ever had.

Excellent stay at Number One South Beach.

Fabulous accommodation WoW, great location. Quite on the South side of Blackpool. 5 star welcome from Claire on our arrival. Checking in no issues, helped with our luggage to our room. Given a room guide/ tour. Room was fantastic with a balcony looking out onto Solaris Gardens, Mirror ball and views of the promenade. comfortable bed, spa bath, shower, dressing gown and slippers, toiletries, towels and a box full of extras you might need during your stay. Claire, Mark and team the really helpful and friendly made our stay very enjoyable. Great choice of breakfast given a breakfast list the day before for the next morning. Breakfast In the morning made by Mark with was cooked to perfection 5/5. Plenty of free parking, great transport links tram station short 5 minute walk away stopping at all of Blackpool’s world famous attractions. Bus stops located close by. Not far walk from the Pleasure Beach/ South Pier. Would highly recommend.

Nice hotel. Lovely location

Easy to find. Close to all attractions. Lovely room but a bit small. There was an unpleasant odour coming from bathroom. Spoke with owner who stated this happens sometimes due to the “trap” and proximity to the sea.

A brilliant stay – lovely staff, thoughtful touches, and great location

I emailed ahead about parking and got a prompt, helpful reply – great start! The staff were absolutely lovely throughout my stay. There were loads of thoughtful touches in the room that made it feel really welcoming (and the fan was very much appreciated during the warm weather!). The location’s spot on too – there’s a tram stop right outside, which made getting around Blackpool super easy. One of the highlights? Watching Glastonbury from the bath, thanks to the TV in the bathroom – such a treat! I also happened to mention in passing that it was my birthday the next day… and at breakfast, I was surprised with a candle in my hash brown! Such a simple gesture, but it really made my morning. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in Blackpool – thanks again for a lovely stay.

Breakfast was excellent, all of it , staff very friendly , the hotel was clean and comfortable , parking on site is a bonus aswell.

A comfortable, luxurious property and excellent value for money!

Hosts were lovely and welcoming, tak8ng pride in their service and the hotel they have created whilst enjoying its history too. Room was comfortable, tastefully decorated and furnished and modern, with a whirlpool bath, TV above the bath, separate shower and great water pressure (a must for me). Lots of options for breakfast and it tasted great! Loads of local eateries and within spitting distance of the beach. Highly recommended.
