Great hotel, clean and comfortable beds...
The room was very clean and spacious. The beds were very confortable. It was perfect for a family of 4. I would def recommend this hotel.
The description said 15 minute walk to the centre of town. This isn't quite true, we had to pay for busses and Ubers to get there and back so this added a cost to our trip.

Friendly staff but rooms too small
Staff was amazing and very friendly
The room was too small for 3 people and the beds kept moving. They had wheels on them

Wanted to see the botanical garden . was a good 14 minutes away - perfect !!
Staff was brilliant to explain where to park around th corner .. should be a bit clearer in the text

Entrance fab
Room and bathroom was a bit small
Very difficult to get to the room - with luggage - with many stairs and doors in between

Very good value for the location. Nice comfortable lounge area to enjoy a drink in. Good bed.
I've stayed here a few times and it's great and close to everything. The staff member at reception was very helpful with a few particular things. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet at night.
The bathroom and parts of the room I was in could use updating. The shower didn't run hot enough.

Fine for one night on the way somewhere else.
Location on a nice quiet street, handy to airport bus from Drumcondra road, though I would not recommend the number 16 bus if you are in a hurry to or from airport maybe 41 is quicker and has fewer stops I don't know but do not get 16 if you are in any kind of a hurry to or from airport ) . Room sufficient for one night (all I needed it for). Wouldn't spend longer than a night here.
Restaurant ok for one evening too. Even though they took 15 mins to tell me that what I ordered was not available (it wasn't that busy then), the substitute dish was fine and the service friendly.
Noise, security and receptionist's attitude. Door handle and lock inside seemed a bit weak even though you need a card to enter from the corridor. I heard someone tugging at the door handle. I got up to look through the peephole, but they had gone. Confused guest maybe but I rang reception a bit later just so they knew of it. No response. This was around 9pm. I told receptionist the next morning on checking out about the door handle being tugged at and the general weakness of the lock and she could not have been LESS interested in the problem (and it wasn't busy at that time of the morning either). 'oh right' was her indifferent response (tone and facial expression). As I wanted to leave to get breakfast before getting bus to airport (I wasn"t spending any more money on that place with such an indifferent response to a woman's security), I could not waste any more time on her. Also, when I checked in, she announced my room number to me very loudly two or three tines. A bit of discretion please for a woman travelling on her own (with random male guests hanging around the lobby)?
Room price could have been 10€ cheaper.
Noise: you could hear a lot of noise from corridor and other rooms during the night.

Overall satisfying for the money
▪️The room was rather small, but all necessities were present (dresser, bed, bathroom, desk,...);
▪️Cleanliness was very good;
▪️The staff was super friendly and helpful!
▪️Radiator didn't work, the room wasn't super cold so no problem but could be during colder nights.

Lovely staff but needs renovation and deep clean
Really friendly and welcoming staff which is a rare find in Dublin these days. Reception area is welcoming. Nice and quiet.
En suite was tiny - sink was in room not ensuite.
Unfortunately floor beside radiator had not been hoovered in a long time. Wall behind radiator was bare block. Furniture very old and tired. Hairdryer did not work. No iron in room. Bed quite lumpy. Price was too high for room .provided.

One night, perfect for my needs, friendly amenable staff.
Friendly, amenable staff. Flexible for late arrival and early departure.
It was fine for the money but a little bit old and tired. The stairs could be an issue for some people- steep /narrow.

Nice overnight spot but way too noisy from the music
The staff members were all very friendly and helpful
The live music permeated our room. We may as well have been downstairs. I think it would be kind to warn guests that this will happen.

Nice hotel slightly out of Dublin centre in quiet area
Welcoming and comfortable. Not very central but we only stayed one night and it is very convenient for thje Botanic Gardens that are well worth a visit.
No drink making in room. Limited range of TV channels/

Very poor. Room small and basic. Hotel staff don't care about guests
Restaurant decent and staff attitude in restaurant good.
Terrible attitude of front of house staff. Could not have cared less about our stayed. Failed to fix faulty TV, faulty basin waste and unhelpful on other requests. Disco below our bedroom one night, no warning or apology, it went on until midnight and was loud and no acoustic ceilings or walls.

Fine for one night stopover
Staff were wonderful very kind and helpful. Location good with brilliant pub (Botanic garden) nearby with great food & atmosphere. Our double room was tiny more like a single but ok for one night. Hotel had lovely little lounge and own restaurant which seemed quite lively. However breakfast a complete rip off and parking nearby very hard to find & at €6 for 3 hours really increased cost of visit.
No parking. Size of room Poor breakfast

Wouldn't return
Comfortable room
No facilities for tea or coffee till 4pm says all day snacks but after breakfast nothing available till after 4pm then everything is charged. Cannot even get water. For the amount they charge they could at least put a kettle in the rooms. Had a shower but wasn't able to open the shower door after as the handle is on the outside luckily I wasn't on my own so was able to call someone to open the shower door for me.

Charming comfort to enjoy a homey Irish feel and relax from the busyness of the neaby city center
As a solo female traveler I loved this Hotel! The Location was Gorgeous, it felt very safe to walk around alone and see the beautiful neighbourhood and large church and grounds nearby! The Staff were very friendly and very helpful for my needs, answered my questions kindly and helped me very early in the morning to call a taxi! The room and bathroom were so clean and comfortable I loved the charm of it! The whole hotel was charming and clean and the lounge area was nice to sit in and relax in the evening and talk to some friendly locals! The bar was reasonably priced with nice staff and a great list of drinks! Overall it was a wonderful comfortable experience for the one night, I wish I had more days to stay! Thank you!
The Tv could have had a bit more channels to scroll through for more programs to choose from and better reception

Staff was very friendly
There was a lots of things....
Start for a car park. No car park for quests you have to park your car on the street and pay for a ticket every 5 hrs! No WiFi at all at the hotel! Tiny tiny rooms. One chair in a room for 3 people. Not good at all.

It was good
Room was nice, very comfy bed. Had a TV. Was clean.
TV only had basic channels and a lot of the channels weren't good. It was far too hot and there was no AC in room. Took me a while to get used to the shower controls.

Not good value for what was paid
The location is very good, near local places to shop and eat, easy to get into Dublin on the bus. Bee was comfortable enough and staff pleasant
Same issues others have had - very hot in the room! Very dated and dilapidated in the bathroom; also small so difficult to move around and be in the room. The first night we were kept awake until past 11pm with very loud music, no one on reception responded to our request to turn it down. Lots of outside banging / noise in hall at all times of day and night. We chose to be outside the city for quiet

Superb value for money
One of the best, if not the best, value for money hotel in Dublin. Highly recommend.

Did not meet expectations.
It is in a great location for our needs. The beds were comfortable , and the staff was friendly, but did not overly go out of their way.
It is very outdated and could use a freshening up. Carpets, paint and overall appearance seemed very worn and not inviting. This hotel has potential and could be charming, but needs a little love.
