I really enjoyed my stay. Everything went smoothly, and it was nice and quiet throughout. I actually prefer the apartment-style setup over a traditional hotel; I enjoyed being able to cook up a small meal instead of eating out my entire trip. While you can hear some noise from the hallway, the hotel is small enough that it’s never an issue. For travelers coming from the U.S., just a quick tip: bring your own washcloths, as they’re not typically provided in Ireland. Overall, a nice and cozy home-away-from-home feel.

Located very near to central Dublin attractions - walking distance to all of Temple Bar (5 - 10 minutes), nearby Saint Patrick's Cathedral, Christchurch Cathedral, St Auboen's Church, Dublinia museum and Dublin Castle - (all within 5 minutes), Saint Stephen's Green (20 minutes), Guinness Storehouse (20 minutes), Kilmainham Gaol (30 minutes), Connolly Station (25 minutes). Room was small but adequate.

Staff was very responsive, they got us a fan within 5 minutes of arrival and booked us a taxi to be ready at checkout! Location was perfect, within walking distance of all main attractions in the city Centre. Hotel felt very safe and quiet!

The hotel had everything you need for a comfortable stay and many tourist destinations, restaurants and pubs are an easy walk. Access to a free washing machine and dryer was a bonus for a mid-vacation laundry session. The staff were helpful and friendly.

I can't recommend this location enough. We stayed five nights and we were completely comfortable. Great shower, comfy bed, and the kitchenette is so helpful when traveling for such a long time. The hotel staff was such a delight and Robin was particularly helpful and friendly. We had a slight problem with our room the first day, and she was so attentive, adjusting for and moving us to another room immediately and kindly arranging our taxi back to the airport for our trouble. The problem with the original room was fixed the next day so they have a great internal support for any problems that arise, even on a weekend. Overall, great location, we could walk anywhere we needed within a 20-minute radius, great restaurants, a grocery, and a convenience store a block or two away. Wifi was very reliable, though not secure. This was my first time staying with this chain, and I'm already planning on using them again for next summer's travel in Europe! A great choice for a home base in Dublin while venturing out for day trips as well as exploring the city.

Our room was nothing like the description, photos and was not what I paid for. This was a single room at best. There was a huge pillar right in the middle of the room which made getting around an already tight space almost impossible. The bed was against a wall and only accessible from one side, with about a foot gap to navigate. We couldn't use the table and chairs as one chair was wedged behind the table and not accessible, the other hit the pillar when trying to use! The wardrobe door hit the main door closing arm when trying to open so was difficult to access. Pillows were rock hard. Reception said they'd call us when room was ready, they didn't. Overall, a very poor experience. I wouldn't stay again.

It was not clear to me from the listing page that daily housekeeping is an extra charge and not included. This should be clearly displayed. The hotel room was listed as having air conditioning, which in actuality was one single fan which barely worked. It was quite warm in the room at all times. I paid extra to have the room cleaned each day and one day they did not clean by the time I returned to the room at 4pm. I was told the cleaning goes until 5pm, which is an unreasonably late time. By that time, I needed to be in the room getting ready for dinner. But they were kind about removing the charge for the lack of cleaning and were attentive to my concerns about the faulty fan and replaced it with a different one.

Everything was great. Only gripe was the furst room allocated 502 had a huge retaining pole in the middle making the room impossible to pit a suitcase anywhere or move too freely. However I was quickly changed to 601 which was perfect. Thank you

Fabulous property and location. One word of advice: if you need air-conditioning, you’ll need to book a room with AC. While it’s nice to open the windows. There are no screens plus the sun comes up at 5 AM so you cannot take advantage of blackout curtains. We found the Dyson fan to be very sufficient. It was a great property. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. Location is amazing. Convenience stores and cafes 1-2 blocks. A few more blocks and you’ll find everything Dublin has to offer. It’s away from the city noise. Walk 10 min in any direction and you find a new adventure. Great Nespresso coffee. Amazing how they have a full kitchen so compact yet convenient. Enjoy!!

Paid extra for air conditioning through Expedia and when we got there it was broken and they apparently could not give us another room. Tv was not working, tried 2 different remotes and failed to come to a resolution. Had to unplug it to get it off. Had no to or air conditioning for three days. No Kleenex, and paper towels in room. Disappointed because we like Staycity. However, location was nice and so were the staff. Just could not help us with some big problems.

Fantastic Location and Excellent Stay We just returned from a vacation in Ireland and had a wonderful experience staying at the Staycity Apartments Dublin Castle. The location was perfect—walkable to everything we wanted to see in Dublin. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. The staff was especially impressive—friendly, responsive, and always happy to offer helpful tips and information. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend Staycity to anyone visiting Dublin.

The stay was fine, the room was a bit tight for the price. Bed was up against the wall, which made it hard to get in out of bed. The washroom needs more shelving, no room to put our toiletries. The staff downstairs was great and helpful.
