For a solo traveller, there is no reason to choose any other kind of accommodation in Dublin. I have now stayed at *** and some place on the North Bank of the river but Aparto (Stephen Street) is the best I have found yet. It is right in the heart of Dublin's tourist / nightlife zone yet far enough from the action to be quiet. My ensuite room was one of 8 sharing a huge kitchen / social space, there was a pool table in good condition and it was only ***-ish a night. Would I use this place again? Absolutely without hesitation!

Clean, convenient location and comfortable beds. Was a little difficult to figure out how to gain entry and no-one was at reception or told me much when arrived! Figured it out myself.

Perfect location if you want to explore Dublin City.
It's a student accommodation. Lots of space for working or studying.
Room is OK but the bed we had is just for 1.5 person. There's a bit of extension by the window so it worked and we were just there for 2 nights.
I love the kitchen that's available for use. We managed to make basic dishes.
One thing maybe is that if your room is by the "flat" main door, expect it to be loud. The automatic light in the toilet/shower will definitely wake up the other person with you in the room and the blue button for the towel rack heater is too bright.
I also love the big working table.
