This was our go to hotel in Dublin! Booking Several rooms 2 to 3 times a year. However the last two times we stayed the reception placed us in a cheaper catagoy room. The first time it happened, we refused the room twice and were given the appropriate category we PAID for. This stay however, upon returning to reception the csr who recognized us from previous stays, stated it was an Executive King Room. I calmly explained we have stayed on many occasions, and the room was clearly not the same, to no avail, stating the hotel was sold out and there as nothing she could do for us. (we checked in at 11:00am. So my sad story is even though I like the hotel there are clearly management issues, if I'm paying more for a room and getting downgraded I'll select a different hotel.

Only stayed for one night until our flight out the next day. Located in a great spot, staff were incredibly lovely, and the room was nice and spacious. The room temperature control was a little tough to figure out so we had to open windows. Only dings were the view out of our specific room (staring directly at another building), and that the elevator went down. Also, if that pizza place (Sano) is still there right as you walk out from the lobby, 10/10 pizza.

This was our go to hotel in Dublin. We have stayed at this property 2 to 3 times a year, booking one to 2 rooms each stay. Last year we had an issue where the hotel reception tried to downgrade our room upon check in. We refused two rooms until they gave us the appropriate category which we PAID for. This time was a different story. The first room a queen double room for our adult children was the correct category. Our room however was a standard King room we paid for an Executive King. I returned to the recepetion and spoke to the CSR (who recognized us from previous stays) advising we were placed in a standard king (a closet sized room). I was advised that the room was an executive king, and the hotel was sold out so there was nothing they could do, please note we checked in at 11am. I mentioned the Executive kings have a sink outside the bathroom. She again stated it was an Executive king. Unfortunately even though I like this hotel I will select a different property in the future as there is clearly a management issue, when guests are paying for a better room but being placed in a lower category.
