The best stay in Dublin. Perfect location with the most friendly and helpful staff.

The location is perfect. Very clean and comfortable stay. The food from the restaurant was delicious and the atmosphere in the bar Darkey Kelly’s was fantastic. All staff were very friendly and so helpful.

Basic hotel with dated rooms.

Convenient location to amenities and bars.

I understand that it is a budget hotel and the dated rooms and furnishings reflect this. For another €20 spend per night, you can obtain higher quality and updated facilities in other establishments. Heating on the on the 5th floor very warm & overly stuffy. Checkout by 11am. Stayed February 2026.

Loved this place!

Stayed with two teenagers in a 3 bed room and we loved it! Great location for us as people covering the city on foot and using the city bus system. Affordable, comfortable, and the staff was so lovely. Secure luggage storage helped us on each end of our stay, and we were lucky to check in early on our arrival day.

Lovely hotel in a great location!

The hotel is in a great central location, especially handy for the event I was attending. The breakfast in the adjoining Copper Alley Bistro was tasty and substantial, and the staff were helpful and friendly, without being intrusive. I didn't go into the bar but it seemed fairly lively when I passed by. Most importantly, I have already booked my next stay in the coming months so that is my seal of approval!

Some people mightn't appreciate the bells from the nearby Christ Church Cathedral but I saw it as a positive. They were minimal anyway, especially for a Sunday.

Great experience!

Beautiful place in the perfect location in Dublin. Easy to walk around the city from this location. Staff were very pleasant. There's a wonderful pub that can be assessed from the hotel. Rooms were clean.

It is in a busier location, so may be a little louder.

Very enjoyable stay and coming back soon!

The location is fantastic, so handy for Christchurch, the Castle and Viking Dublin. Also handy for our return bus to Galway. Very comfortable triple room for 3 friends which can be hard to find sometimes. Good value breakfast. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. For these reasons and affordability we will be returning.

The bar was too full to find a spot on the Saturday we were there, and you can hear the noise if your room is just above, but then again we knew there was a bar and it's good to see town busy and people enjoying themselves. The only tiny thing I would say is that the shower had a curtain only, not as good as an enclosed shower.

Loved our stay. Staff were very friendly and efficient and great location, would certainly return.

The double room had everything. Tea & Coffee and even Milk in the fridge. Visited Darkey Kellys Bar. Great atmosphere in there. Music was very good Friday Evening. Hotel in a great location. At a show in the Olympia and this hotel was only 5 mins away. Great Breakfast next morning.

Little step into Bathroom was just a bit dangerous. But it had a light, so this certainly helped.

I would absolutely stay at the Harding again.

Ideal location for immersing yourself in history and great food

What a fabulous stay. Right on the edge of Temple Bar and across the street from Christchurch, the location was perfect for exploring on foot. The staff was amazing… quick to respond to concerns and questions. The room, though small by American standards, was well appointed and organized. Our 5th floor room even had a peekaboo view of the Cathedral. And a fabulous bonus was the restaurant, Darkey Kelly’s. Delicious food and fun music!

Great location and Staff. Room was a good size.

The central location of the hotel is very good and with an easy walk to many of Dublin's attractions. The restaurant is conveniently accessible through the lobby, clean, affordable and with excellent food options. The hotel has a well-run breakfast service run through the restaurant and it offered up an excellent selection of breakfast options. I was quite pleased that the room had a safe and fridge. This is something I normally expect in hotel rooms, but I have found that they are not something always available in Irish hotels. The staff at the hotel were exceptional!

There is a pub located on site, During the times we were there, it was always busy. We had a room located on the 4th floor with a window overlooking the patio area of a pub but we were not sure this was tied to the pub in the hotel or a separate business. It made it extremely noisy at night. You will see from the photo I posted there was little by way of a room view and the patio below could be quite congested which resulted in a high noise level.

Thoroughly enjoyable

The location is fantastic for those wanting to walk around Dublin. There is a lot of good food and drinking options close by (including downstairs!) Unfortunately, the airline lost our luggage and, whilst not the fault of the Harding staff, they went out of their way to help me deal with the airline. I was stressed and they helped ease it in any way they could

A gem of a hotel in the City Centre!! And the staff gives personalized attention. Highly recommend it if you are are in

The front desk staff - particularly Tony, Natalie and the young gal with glasses treated us like family. They were so helpful and a wealth of knowledge.

I liked EVERYTHING! And I plan to return again next year and stay at the Harding Hotel.

Have stayed here before. Good value, given its location and cleanliness of rooms.

No drinking water was supplied in my room and the tap water from bathroom sink was pretty awful (just didn’t taste nice). I asked at reception if there might be filtered water available anywhere for me to fill my bottle and was told no, same water as the bathroom water. Nearest open shop was a bit of a stretch away and it was late at night so had to drink the bathroom tap water.

A Sweet stay

Hotel had tons of charm, was in walking distance of shops and bars. Had a fantastic bar on premises with the best live Irish music. The adjoining restaurant was delicious.

Central and friendly

We chose the Harding Hotel for its central location. Our small tour bus pick-up and drop-off was just around the corner. As this was at 8am and 7pm , Harding hotel was ideal. The Airport express bus was also directly opposite, a short walk across the laneway. The staff were brilliant and helpful. In fact, I had inquired at a closer hotel to the pick up but changed my mind as the other staff were dismissive of me, barely glancing up from the computer screen. Harding hotel reception, were a stark and friendly contrast. We stayed there for 2 nights. On arrival and departure between tours. The fridge in the room was a bonus as we used it to store items for our breakfast on our first stay as we checked out at 07:30. We had a delicious la carte breakfast on our 2nd stay.

We had a triple room. Minor point, but we all stubbed toes on the ledge of the bathroom entry.
