The double - duvet on the bed (one top, one at the foot of the bed - maybe because we're from the U.S. and we're sure the best way to get full coverage) Otherwise , very comfy bed

Wanted to love it but didn’t quite get there

Exceptionally clean, very stylish.

Lack of facilities in the room. It looked good but wasn’t practical to use. No fridge, kettle, drawers or useable storage in general. One small cupboard with ) hangers and a shelf too high to reach. Tea/coffee making equipment was at the opposite end of the corridor. Not even a hook to hang coats so they’re draped over a chair. Lived out of suitcase on floor for 4 days.

Nice place poor guest management

All the usual issues - location, food, room , decor all great

No one with any authority at the hotel which means all decisions are taken by some unknown who has no ability to make sensible judgment calls ans even to understand what’s going on until many hours later and then can’t/won’t do anything about it. Management at a distance doesn’t work well for guests ! The staff this time were I must say quite sullen and uncommunicative this time vs earlier in the year

Cosy and Excellent service

The hotel was spacious and very welcoming upon arrival. Great atmosphere and use of space. The bedroom was clean and open. No complaints.

Absolutely wonderful and will recommend to everyone we know!!

The location is amazing and the property is immaculate! Truly the cleanest place we have ever stayed. And the vibe was so cool! We loved the main floor and the staff was so incredibly kind and friendly!

The literal only thing is that the keys to one of our rooms continued to fail. It would get us to the correct floor and then not open the door. We figured it may have been because the key was in our purse where our cell phones were and maybe that was messing with them? But it happened no matter where we had the phones located.

Great location, stylish hotel and comfortable stay.

Amazing location, right next to one of the best pubs in Dublin ‘The Hacienda Bar’ which was a great surprise. In walking distance of Temple Bar and brilliant surrounding cafes, bars and restaurants. The rooms are stylish, clean and comfortable. Checking in and out was easy and we were able to leave our luggage.

The only thing we would’ve preferred would’ve been tea and coffee facilities inside the room rather than making it in the Galley.

I enjoyed the Dublin great fun but the hotel too quirky for me

The place looks great outside and inside. It is very close to both side of the city and very quiet apart the building side just opposite the hotel. They started work in very early hours so not a great sleep. It is close from the Dublin Express bus stop.

I was not fan of the lay out of the room. The shower and the toilet not to my liking. Also the sink in the room not a great idea. Long shelf across the room too small to storage any belongings. Tv had only a few channels no access to Netflix or other apps.

No kettle in room, tea facilities in a galley in corridor so had to get dressed if you wanted a drink say first thing in the morning, also tv was a streaming service so no itv or similar channels

Comfortable and convenient.

Clean, modern hotel, easily accessible by public transportation. Close to the river and sight-seeing. And don't overlook the neighborhood immediately around the hotel - lots of fun cafes, pubs, and shops on nearby Capel Street.

Not a fan of the self check-in, especially when I had already filled out the same forms on my phone in advance of my stay. However, it's a big place and this may be the best way for them to check in large groups.

Good choice for our adventure!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! A huge shoutout to Robert and Kevin—amazing staff members who truly made our trip. They were always attentive, communicated wonderfully, and delivered an excellent level of service. Ruby’s wood-fired pizza was also fantastic! The hotel’s location was perfect—just a 10-minute walk from the hustle and bustle of the Temple Bar area, right across the river. It’s also an easy walk to both Connolly and Heuston train stations, about 20 minutes to Trinity College, and surrounded by great pubs on both sides of the river. We are happy we chose Ruby Molly! We selected a room with a balcony and enjoyed the views daily!

Minor hiccups: We opted for the “green option” for housekeeping, which provided service every three days in exchange for two drink tickets at the bar. We stayed for 11 days and, in hindsight, felt it wasn’t worth it. The staff seemed quite busy around the bar and lobby, so it was sometimes difficult to get extra towels, toilet paper, or tissues when we needed them. We wish we had kept the daily housekeeping service. Additionally, the shower temperature fluctuated from very hot to very cold—our friends staying in a different room experienced the same issue.

Good location within a short walk of the centre.

The location was a 20 minute walk from the centre. Quiet area.

The breakfast was disappointing limited hot food. The room temperature was difficult to control and there were no tea and coffee facilities in the room. For the price I would have expected to be able to make a hot drink in my room especially first thing in the morning. However they do have an area to make hot drinks on each floor.

The location was about it sadly.

The hotel’s presentation online is appealing, but the experience did not meet expectations. The room felt unfinished, with exposed concrete walls and limited bathroom privacy due to the glass partition. Temperature control was difficult, leaving the room stuffy at times. Street noise was noticeable even with the windows closed. The self-check-in process was unreliable, and housekeeping did not service the room during our stay. Overall, the standard did not reflect the price charged.

No parking available. Cost a lot of money to park 3 days and hotel does not provide any discounts. No ice buckets. Cashless operation, even to buy a pop. Nickel and dime by charging to rent an umbrella. When offering free drinks instead of cleaning, it should be for each day.

Newer hotel - Worth staying here.

Canadian reviewer here. First timer for the Ruby Molly. Location, staff, breakfast, bar and lounging area. Well appointed rooms. We were on the 7th floor and enjoyed our quiet, tucked away area. You have to be open to the different style that this hotel has for the rooms. Yes, the rooms are on the smaller size, the bathroom may not be what you are used to..Sink in the room, shower is glassed in with a shower curtain pulled around it. If you know how to make the most of a small space, then you will be ok. The Ruby Molly, whoever designed it, did it for efficiency. From dim lighting options, to motion sensors for the Air Conditioning to come on, we really liked that idea as it saves on energy, There must be motion sensor for the bathroom fan as well. We really enjoyed our stay.

The shower door. If not closed all the way, water seeps into the floor by the toilet. I learned that one on my first night.
