Appartement is very spacious with large rooms
The pictures are not recently made and the apartment looked different and fell a lot 'older' than expected. Needs a new paint job. In addition, the matrass was sagging and needs to be replaced.

Everything!:-)
The washing machine and dryer was located across the street, about 3-4 houses away. It would have been perfect if there was a washing machine inside the apartment.

We had a lovely stay - the apartment is very thoughtfully put together with lovely touches and lots of character! We really loved the location as well - it was comfortable, quiet, and close to everything we needed.

The location was good near a bus stop supermarket and cafe . The newer corner of the single room - shower and washbasin - were nice and in good condition . I liked that there were laundry facilities on site and a small bottle of welcome fizz . While I wasn’t driving , the EV charger I am sure would be appreciated if I was . Hosts were friendly but slow at responding , replying to messages over 12 hours after they were sent .
The room was really mixed with part of it lovely and part of it old and dirty . Room smelled a bit
musty . The seat was stained , blanket threadbare in places . There were electrical sockets placed on the bedside table which I felt unsafe as most people would place nighttime water there too . There were also electrical cables tied up
Over the toilet and I kept thinking one day they would fall down on somebody . The toilet felt exposed as no blinds and no washbasin in there so terribly unhygienic people would be touching the door handles with dirty hands .
When I arrived the entrance to the apartment was blocked by a pushchair and whet looked like a baby potty which I had to move out of the way to get through . The pushchair remained throughout my stay which wasn’t great as you were stumbling to bathroom half asleep with no lighting near the toilet and an obstacle in the way . It was also a bit stressful realising you could get locked out of your room in the middle of the night ( as other guests have commented on Tripadvisor ) and having to wake up sufficiently to remember a room key for the toilet . Having said all of this I feel for the price it was ok and there were positive sides to the property too . Just bring a head torch and hand sanitiser !

Lovely location in a quiet neighbourhood with a ship and bus stop within a 30 second walk. Bus to the centre is less than 5 mins duration. Really nice property with traditional features but with every comfort you might need. Effortless check in and out. A spacious apartment that is a perfect alternative to the regular claustrophobic hotel and at a similar price
No air con is something we had to get used to but we didn't expect it so we made do with wind and windows....no fault on the property though, just our first world problems !

Spacious and Austrian style
The location was good and it was easy to walk to the old town.
The complimentary small bottle of sparkling wine was a nice touch.
nothing to complain about

Nice modern and big apartment
Fulltime equiped kitchen
Good location, 10 minutes walk to downtown
Own parking space and charging possibility
2 balconies with nice view
Helpfull owner
Public transport to ski slopes across the road
Church bells starling at 06:00 might wake you early if you are a light sleeper
Living room couch is only meent for sitting straight up, half laying in a more relaxed pose after a long day of skiing is not comfortable

Great location - lovely large flat with plenty of relaxing space, nice views. Very easy to get to and from all attractions and fantastic mountain walking on foot or bus, close to the town centre. The apartment was spotlessly clean. Had everything we needed. We were able to also get some laundry done which was a real bonus!
We were a couple with 3 teenage children and the bed arrangement wasn’t perfect - it’s better for us to have kids separate from parents. We knew the layout before we came - and knew this would be the case. So it wasn’t a problem.

Welcome gesture.
Old construction and just one bathroom for 6 people.

The apartment was very spacious and well equipped. Remarkably cool even though we stayed during a heat wave. The location for us was ideal with the bus stop J more or less outside that takes you down to the city centre in a few minutes, it's so easy. If you stay more than 3 nights you get a Welcome card which enables you to use the buses or trams, just get on and off, no working out complicated ticket machines or validating necessary. They also run very frequently, waiting no more than 10 minutes. Other reviewers have mentioned the fact that the apartments are at the top of a hill, so the buses are brilliant, just find any bus J going towards Nordkette and get off at Hottinger platz. The church bells didn't bother us at all, they start at 6am and finish at 10pm and strike on quarter hours, we could even tell the exact time without looking at our watches.
The apartment as well as the whole building needs refurbishment and redecoration. From the rusted gate and fence, dark entrance and faded old lino stairway. We didnt personally care for the shabby chic look, most of the furniture was fitted with flaking, chipped paint with faded cushions seating. The bed in the main bedroom needs attention, some of the wooden slats may need replacing.

Quaint accommodation on the periphery of Innsbruck. Suite was very clean and comfortable. Wonderful view of the mountains, and close to two bus lines, although it was close enough to walk to downtown. There is a church next to the property, and the bells would ring on the quarter hour and hour. I found this comforting, but some may not enjoy.
Furnishing was rustic, but pleasant, and building was older. it appears that the hallway is under a bit of construction, but did not affect entry or exit from suite.

The room itself is neat, except that the toilet was outside. Not a big issue for me. Bed was comfy. Rebecca was nice.
It is actually quite far from the train station and uphill, fortunate that my luggage was not that large. The occupants in the room above mine were noisy, footsteps and voices could be heard.

Apartments are spacious, and the location is convenient with a good bus connection to the city center.
The kitchen is very well equipped. There is even a dishwasher, and basic stuff like salt and oil is also provided.
The wi-fi quality is mediocre: up to 35 MBit/s.
The apartment staff were friendly and were quickly responding to additional requests.
The apartments are partially renovated. Some parts are really vintage: pictures may not reflect it fully.
There is a church across the street that starts ringing the bells at 6 am. Please consider that if you are sound sensitive.
Surprisingly, the building is outside of the food delivery area.

I had the worst night mare that took a long time to recover.
There was no human interaction and the access card was to picked from another building which was 2 blocks away. The washroom was outside the room and I coincidentally got self locked in a thin night pyjama with no phone or even footwear and the lady who claimed to be owner was right next door but I was standing there crying like a kid frozen at the temperature of -8° for around 45mins until a stranger on road helped by calling police and police came and banged this lady door while she opened and said she is owner and opened the lock n left without even checking the well being or my state and condition though I was in her stay & in her property. I even ran to the property where I got the access card but the people clearly refused to open the door and there was hardly any human on road as the time was around 7pm.
I come from a total opposite hot weather country and I froze to death for 45+ mins and it took the whole night me drinking hot water n sitting next to room heater warming my body to get normal as my bones were paining n body was frozen and I got sick for the rest of trip and was severely ill for 3 days
Having washroom outside was okay but be careful to carry your phone and the access card.
The hotel is on the little higher side and access to public transport from the train station is not available. You need to carry the bags and walk to reach the stop. There is a bus stop next to the hotel but the bus takes you no where necessary places.

We were entitled to free transportation in the city because we stayed for more than one night.
Spacious apartment
location not easy to find in the dark.
The whole apartment is a bit run-down.
There is no antenna or cable or satellite TV. There is only internet TV. The host said you can find everything you like. But even he was unable to find BBC news or any football channels to watch the world cup.
There is a washing machine. But you have to buy your own washing powder, not from them, but from the supermarket. The staff suggested that we should leave our washing powder in the washing room, apparently for the benefit of other residents.
If you book directly from them, car parking is free. But if you book via other websites like booking.com, you have to pay 9 euros per day.
There is a 50 euro cleaning fee, which is not mentioned in booking.com

There is a bus stop 1 minute walk from the place. The bus can go to the cable car station which is in the mountain, the central station and also the other village on the opposite mountain. The room was really comfortable. A welcome card are included as I stayed 2 nights. I joined the hiking tour which was excellent!
Besides, the toilet is outside the room but the shower and sink are in the room. Every time I used the toilet, I had to go back to the room to wash my hand.

Very spacious, characterful, and great location.

The wonderfully kind and friendly Rebecca at reception went out of her way to make sure everything went well. It wasn't obvious from the listing that an Innsbruck Welcome Card is included in the price. This allows free bus travel to the property which is great because without it the walk up the steep hill from the city centre is hard going with heavy cases (and the bus stop is very close).
Access to the games room (free), the washing machine (small charge) and the garden with outdoor swimming pool (free) made this place somewhere we'd love to come back to.
The house itself was full of old charm and very well equipped.
We wish we had booked to stay longer. Innsbruck is one of our favourite cities and Absteige is the best place we've stayed in it.

Location good but it was at the top of a hill. People who cannot climb the steep road should not book this apartment.
A very large apartment with a balcony and views of the surrounding mountains. Extensive and well-equiped kitchen.

staff was very helpful and accommodating

There was no breakfast included in the stay. The room was equiped with a frige , room was clean with really nice bedding warm blanket ect and just over the road was a really nice supermarket with everything one need.
i walked mostley to the old town and some nearby attractions as it was not to far.
My time was bit to short because there was lots to do. On my departure taxis was just waiting over the road from the appartment.
Only problem was the tap was dripping 24/7 and bit distirbing.

Friendly lady at the reception.
Due to a banal mistake regarding the reservation, in the booking-accommodation relationship, the owner was very unpleasant during the reception and asked for an additional payment for the accommodation (I have not seen such greed for a long time). After finding fault, he was unable to issue an apology on any occasion for the stress and great inconvenience my children, wife and I experienced.

Convenient for central innsbruck in a quiet area. Good size one room apartment
Complicated instructions for key collection from nearby office. No staff seen in two days. Toilet along a short corridor.
