Perfect getaway in the mountains

Brigette and her family were the most welcoming hosts who ensured that we had a perfect stay. The accommodation was spotless and everything was well provided for. My 5 year old daughter had the best time observing the milking of the cows, helping to collect eggs and playing with the resident cat. The views of the mountains are also incredible. We had a great time hiking in Mutter. A most wonderful stay and we would love to come back again!

The highlight of our stays during our recent travels through Austria. Bridgett, our host is truly a delight and the farmstay was amazing! Bridgett welcomed us and also, to our delight had moved us into an upgraded room. Large room, wonderful balcony with mountain views that allowed us to watch the sun rise each day before breakfast. Oh, and breakfast, you will be spoiled with the personal touches, the home prepared food and eggs right from the hens on the farm! We were so fortunate to have stayed during the annual "Almabtrieb" or ceremonial cattle drive in the town of Mutters, Austria (where Nockhof is located and a participant in. The farm fresh air, the cows and sheep and of course the farm cats were all amazing and were just the ticket to help us get away from it all! This is a working farm, and they work hard and somehow at the same time will make you feel at home, welcome and part of their family! Again, Nockhof is a very short drive from Innsbruck and many hiking trails (which was important to us), so even though you feel like you are far from the city it is a short drive, and you are in the mix of the city if you need that! I cannot express our gratitude enough to Bridgett enough for how wonderful she made our stay. I plan to return with our children in the future. Do not hesitate to book with confidence.

What didn't we like, well the fact that we didn't book a longer stay!!!! We loved everything about our stay at Nockhof and if I could be there right now, I would!

The great mountain view on Insbruck! The owners are very friendly! Fine breakfast in the morning for healthy starting of the day! Another topic is - nature! The nature is absolutely amazing! A lot of trees, and birds! The smell of a grass! The air is so pure, you wanna breathe it every second! It’s very quite there especially after noisy city of Insbruck! Very good location! You must ride a little bit Up but the road is good even for a small car. This house is absolutely worth of visiting. You will definitely enjoy the time there!

Best Farmstay/Lodging for Couples and Families.

The room was big and spacious and the view is to die for! Bridgett, who is the owner, was so friendly and helpful to tell recommend where to go etc.. Not forgetting the wonderful breakfast she made every morning was something that my wife and i always look forward to every day. It is filled with such good spread and delicious. In addition, the farm she owns has many animals and we enjoyed interacting with the farm animals too!

The most perfect vacation

Our apartment was incredible, clean and comfortable. The view is spectacular!!!The kids enjoyed the farm animals and the playground. The hosts were super kind and helped us with anything that we asked

Panoramic views

The view was spectacular and it was lovely to relax on the deck. I loved that it catered for families as well as couples. They have plenty of things for children to do outdoors as well as a small climbing wall with harness. Lovely location. There was even a wine fridge in the room. The room was lovely and clean. Nothing was too much for the owner.

Die Lage war sehr schön. Man hatte einen tollen Blick auf Innsbruck. Die Gastgeber waren sehr familiär und herzlich. Man hat sich wohl gefühlt. Es war sauber und das Frühstück war frisch und regional, das wussten wir sehr zu schätzen.

Das Bad war nicht sehr modern und hatte die ein oder andere Macke, ansonsten gab es Nix zu meckern.

Geweldig verblijf op een Bauernhof

Wat een prachtige plek om een paar dagen te verblijven. Onze kamer met balkon had een weids uitzicht, dat elk uur veranderde, afhankelijk van het weer. De ontvangst was zeer hartelijk, de eigenaresse is bijzonder vriendelijk. Ze heeft twee keer zelf gebakken taart aangeboden. Het ontbijt was meer dan compleet. We konden er tot ver in de middag op teren! Nockhof is een boerderij met koeien. Zo leuk! En het ligt dichtbij de kabelbaan, de berg op. Daar kun je wandelen en crossfietsen. Ook is het dichtbij Innsbruck waar je gratis met een treintje naartoe kan vanaf het dorp (althans bij een verblijf van minimaal 2 dagen). De kabelbaan is eenmaal gratis als je drie dagen verblijft.

Die Gastfamilie ist sehr freundlich. Kinder sind sehr willkommen. Die Lage ist umwerfend schön. Der mögliche Kontakt zu den Tieren des Bauernhofes ist Klasse. Es wird in jeder Hinsicht darauf geachtet, daß sich die Gäste wohlfühlen.
