Our entire stay at Hilton was truly wonderful. However, our first impression was unfortunately affected by one staff member during check-in, which we found unacceptable. While he wasn’t outright rude, he came across as bitter, grumpy, or possibly dealing with something personal that clearly impacted his service towards guests.
He checked in 1 or 2 of our 4 rooms on the evening of August 28th. Thankfully, the rest of the check-in was handled by his colleagues, who were all fantastic – just like every other staff member we encountered during our stay.
A person with that kind of attitude should probably not be working in a guest-facing role.

From the moment we checked in, Hilton Belgrade lived up to its name. The room was spacious, spotless, and modern, with a huge window letting in natural light. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the overall design felt premium yet warm.
Breakfast was a highlight. The spread was generous—everything from fresh pastries and fruits to hot made-to-order eggs—and the quality was consistent each morning. Service staff were attentive without being intrusive, which made mornings even better.
The location is a winner. It’s right in the heart of Belgrade, within walking distance to St. Sava Temple, Nikola Tesla Museum, and plenty of cafés. It’s also well-connected for exploring other parts of the city.
What stood out most was the service—polished, friendly, and eager to help. It’s clear the team is trained to make guests feel valued.
Overall, a great blend of comfort, convenience, and service. Would absolutely stay here again when in Belgrade.
"No pool was a letdown for a property of this level, and the lack of free parking for guests felt off. The car park is available, but it’s paid. For a long stay, that adds up fast. Also, while the room and facilities were good, the absence of certain family-friendly amenities made it feel less convenient for traveling with kids."

I booked the hotel from Booking for a couple of my friends. However, I was very embarrassed when they asked for a 100 Euro deposit during check-in. My friends had to call me from the hotel. The lady at the reception told me on the phone that the reason they asked for a deposit was for the use of the minibar and other accessories. I told her that if they wanted my guests to be treated well, I would send the pictures of my credit card from WhatsApp and asked for the deposit to be collected from my card.
However, they did not give the key to the lock of the minibar in the room to my guests. How would you feel if you were in my shoes? Whether my guests use the minibar or not is out of the question, the real issue here is the embarrassment I fell into.
This is a very strange situation, I was EMBARRASSED. As someone who stays in many hotels and makes many reservations from Booking, this is the first time I have experienced this.
From now on, I will definitely compare my Booking reservations with other sites.
I think that these are only applied in the worst hostel in the ghettos of Belgrade, not in a Hilton branded hotel.
I will never, ever pay my reservation again, even if the hotel is a well-known name of a chain hotel, without asking the hotel, and I will make a canceled reservation from booking.
This is not a customer complaint. This is a loss of value for booking in my opinion.

Really nice staff. Kind, smiling people who are willing to help. Very varied and rich breakfast. The restaurant is quite clean and pretty. Big cool comfortable bed. You just disappear into it like a cloud. The rooftop restaurant has amazing food and very kind staff.
1. Clean. It's just not there. When I was in the room I got a headache after 5 minutes. And that's not a joke. It was the dust that gave me a headache. I would leave the room and in 10 minutes everything would be fine. I did this several times and it worked every time. It was the worst night ever, despite the good bed.
2. Old laundered towels and bathrobes. So old that one bathrobe had a huge hole in it.
3. Snacks at x10 prices from the store. Seriously?! This looks really funny. The hotel probably trying to earn money for new bathrobes)))

We are staying at Hilton Belgrade frequently. Because it’s the best in the city. Location is in city centre. Most of what we need is a walking distance. Staff are amazing. Polite, professional and always helpful. Very hospitable.Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is fantastic. Parking available if arriving with a car.

The shower door was not closing properly. Minibar was not free and it wasn't indicated anywhere. Pretty cheap for a hotel that claims to be a 5 star one. The spa is small and not ventilated enough.

Best place in the city. Staff are absolute best. They do everything to make us comfortable and assist with our needs. We had to extend our stay and they did everything not to have to move us to a different room. Breakfast is fantastic. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Car garage is available for those arriving with a car. Location is great. Almost all you need is a walking distance from the hotel. That’s why we keep coming back again and again

Booking a room keeps being a lottery - one cannot be sure that she gets a room that matches the description on Booking.com.
It’s the second time we’ve consciously selected a higher cost room which was stated (in its description) to have a bathtub. It’s the second time we’ve got not what was in the room’s description, just a room with a shower. First time we asked about it and were given a room we’d expected.
This time, however, after debating with receptionist for a while we got what was stated as a cheaper room with worse view, however bathtub included.
And here comes the second major problem - lack of financial transparency for the client.
Once we’ve agreed upon a cheaper room, receptionist took my card and made a transaction on 648.99 EUR (our original, higher price room should have costed us around 440 EUR for 2 nights). He didn’t explain what exactly he did, either he just locked this amount or made a purchase, and i was too tired to check the sum beforehand, my bad.
On sign out i was asked for my card again and got a receipt that stated, that i’ve paid around 440 EUR for 2 nights (for what supposed to be a cheaper room). I understand that we were still using executive lounge as we’ve booked it as a part of the room we originally wanted.
However, nobody explained anything about the prices to us.
And at the moment in my bank account’s transactions it is still displayed that the hotel took 648.99 EUR + 2.52 EUR from my account. The sum for the room and food in the receipt we’ve got is around 550 EUR. I have no idea if i’ll ever get the difference returned to my account or not.
I know that i myself didn’t ask that much of questions, i had a very exhausting and stressful event happening the same weekend. And i just had no willpowers to ask, argue and complain if anything’s unclear.
But that is why i’ve selected this hotel in the first place - i was expecting a high quality service worth the money i pay. And it turned out to be a truly depressing experience.

The fact that when visiting Belgrade, we have stayed her 5 times, says it all. Very clean, very comfortable, great breakfast and dinner at the rooftop, excellent stay.
-- Going to the rooftop restaurant with 2 little kids, the ladies at the door led us right at the end of the veranda, most probably because she thought we were going to be a "noisy" family.. After having ordered the drinks, they decided to move us to another table, perhaps it was too obvious that we were sitting alone at the veranda end, who knows.. -- We had a good time nevertheless, with great food and drinks, but please do not judge a book from its cover..

For us Hilton Belgrade feels like home away from home. We’ve stayed here few times in the past few months. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Garage(parking)is on site convenient for those arriving with a car. Excellent breakfast. Gym is fantastic. Different restaurants to suit any occasion and taste are right there. It’s in an amazing location. You step out and all you need is a walking distance. But what keeps us coming back more than anything else is people. Staff is so professional, kind and helpful beyond measure. All of them. From the gentleman at the entrance, reception staff,restaurant staff all the way to the lovely ladies who keep our rooms clean and cosy. Thank you to all at Hilton Belgrade
