The hotel is reasonably priced and in an excellent location in the old town. Many attractions are within walking distance, and the hotel is close to all public transport systems - trains, trams, etc. Given that most public transport is free, this is a great asset. There is also a large shopping mall literally around the corner for those who like their retail therapy, and there is also a convenience store and chemists, for those last minutes supplies.
Staff are friendly and efficient, and they organised an airport transfer for me, which was cheaper than taking a regular taxi.
Even though the hotel is right in the heart of the old town, the rooms are quiet and peaceful.
There is no bar or restaurant, though vouchers are available for a restaurant next door. I didn't avail of this, so can't comment on the quality. There is also no lift, which wasn't an issue for me, but may be a factor if a guest is movement impaired, or taking lots of luggage.

The location was super nice, close to everything. The staff was also very nice and polite.
The room smelled liked mold or something. The smell went away after I opened the window.
Also the room was very dark and with one small window which was directly connected to the terrace of some restaurant, which felt weird and unsafe, as there was no protection on the window and it only opened wide, without ventilation option.
There was some trash under the table that was hidden behind the puffy seat (water bottles and snack wrappers from the mini bar).
On top of that I had some really noisy neighbors that woke me up a few times during the night because they came out of their rooms to meet in the hall and laugh like crazy people.

Really very close to the city center. You can explore whole city by walking. Staff and room was excellent.
The bed sheets were never changed during my whole vacation

Location is great, can not be better. So many café's and restaurants close by. Really close to great places to visit. Room was spacious and the bed really good. Clean and bright and good views to the main pedestrian street. Friendly people working at the hotel. We were also happy to use the pick up from the airport and back, good service and nice drivers.
We had to get our room keys fixed every day, a bit annoying. The internet went down now and then so it was not always easy to work. We had people smoking in the room next to us and it was like someone was smoking in our room, unpleasant.

We loved Belgrade, and this hotel definitely played a part in that. It is an elegant building that welcomes you with a red balloon umbrella, located on a lovely street that stretches all the way to Kalemegdan. You enter the building through the restaurants on the ground floor. Red carpets, a staircase curving upwards, and a tiny reception desk greet you inside. The staff were very polite and helpful. We settled into our room without any issues. The room was clean and had everything we could possibly need. We stayed in a room overlooking the corner of the street. The bustle below was not disturbing at all. The location is excellent—we were able to reach many places on foot, and bus stops were also very close by.
My favorite thing was sitting on the window ledge and watching life rush by beneath my feet.
The only thing I didn’t like was the bathroom door system. In our room, the door didn’t even have a lock mechanism, which wasn’t ideal. Still, I was extremely satisfied overall. It’s definitely a place I would love to stay again.

The accommodation is in the best location, right on Knez Mihailova, Belgrade’s main pedestrian street, yet it’s quiet and perfect for rest. It offers a lovely view of the street. The room is spacious, cozy, nicely decorated, and very clean. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast, served in a nearby restaurant, is excellent and included in the stay.

The center of the old town, it's convenient
There was a smell in the room, the staff explained that it was an old building so it had to be that way. There are some remains of pipes in the closet, it's likely that no one has cleaned the closet for a long time.

This historical mansion was full of old world charm. Exceptional location close to many sights, so we walked everywhere. Also tons of cafes, restaurants & shopping closeby. Hotel was super comfortable & clean. Very helpful staff.
The breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was great value but had limited vegetarian options. There was no elevator in the hotel which was fine by us but to consider when packing your suitcases.

It is right above the pedestrian street with shops, bars and cafes, so you are just one step from everything you might need to eat, drink or shop. It is also very close to the mall, where there is also a supermarket.
Bus & tram stops very close.
The double rooms were quite spacious.
Towels were changed on a daily basis.
We thought the parking was included in the double room's price (as per the FAQs), but it turned out there was an extra cost of 20 euros per day for the parking, which however was very very close to the hotel!
There is no elevator, but at least the crew was very helpful with our luggage.
It is right above the pedestrian street with shops, bars and cafes, so if you are looking for a very quiet room, it might not be the right place. Nothing too disturbing though.
The breakfast is at the cafe right under the hotel, but it includes specific, limited plates, basically with eggs.

The street noise, but it is inevitable. Fortunately it ends at midnight.

Location was great.
Only pillows were very bad and uncomfartable.
The staff in the breakfast area was not friendly and hospilaty, because of that we had a only one breakfast.

My son and I had a lovely time in Belgrade. The hotel, receptionists, cleaners and staff at Boutique restaurant were excellent. The service was excellent too. The location couldn't be better .... Near main road, near shopping mall, near restaurants and bars, centre for nightlife and area leads to Republic Square and centre of Belgrade. I highly recommend the hotel.
The hotel has no elevator/lift and we were on the 2nd floor. The 2nd staircase was steep. I have minor mobility issues and the stairs affected me. We overlooked this so this was our fault not to realise. We understand that the hotel is an old mansion but maybe if the hotel has a lift from the back or side ........ People with mobility issues cannot book this hotel unfortunately.
The room had a window next to the roof ... Good for natural light but
otherwise useless ....

The location is great, the room was clean. The value for money was great, but do not expect a 4 star hotel as advertised! Great for one night, but not more.
The single bed room is very small, and the overall premises do not correspond to a 4 star hotel as advertised. It looks more like a student type accommodation rather than a "normal" hotel. If you don't mind this and the lack of space, the positives overcome this issues. There is no elevator and the stars are quite significant if you have the room on the second floor.

The location was great - it’s right in the middle of the action. But that’s pretty much it. There are no facilities or amenities ( no elevator - but the hotel staff was gracious to haul out luggage up the stairs- because they don’t have elevators)
Our AC didn’t work either so that didn’t help. But since we were so exhausted after walking all day we just crashed.
Overall a good stay especially because of the location.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and located in a great area. The staff was helpful, and overall we had a pleasant stay. However, after checking out, there was a misunderstanding regarding minibar usage. We only drank one bottle of water, but we were later told that we consumed two waters and a vodka, which was not the case. They even attempted to charge my card without permission. Additionally, we were told that 10 dinars from the city tax would be returned to us, but this was never given back. Despite these minor issues, it was a nice stay overall.

It was super clean and nice!! The staff was really helpful as well.
There was a gap between the wall and the bathroom door which could come really awkward if you share the room with someone.

Maison Royal is at the very city centre, a bit hard to find if traveling with a car. Busy and noisy environment late in the evenings, plenty of street musicians performing just under your windows. We would not recommend it for couples nor travelers, who seek peace and quiet.

Really friendly staff - from the reception office to the cleaning ladies, all friendly and genuinly warm people, was very impressed!
Very clean aswell.
Smaller room that I expected, but in the center of the capital, which is a good location, so worth it.
Was unsure about vegan options for breakfast (since the hotel does not have own restaurant), but the caffe's staff was very helpfull and I got a very good vegan alternative after I asked.
Still would recommend for a brief stay in Belgrad, would definitely come back to stay here on another occasion!

old building no elevator, they charged us the water at the room ( not in the mini- bar). For breakfast they agreed with a neighbour restaurant which has excellent food but you must pay extra for water! There was only one room with Balcony and other rooms have no view

Location is the only thing good about this property. Staff was pleasant.
Almost everything. It was very very filthy, walls are peeling, rug was full of stains, furniture is old, towels also etc. We asked and got a new room but it was the same story. There’s no elevator so we had to carry our baby stroller all the way up every time we went for a walk. And you can also hear mice running around through the walls at night.
