A lovely week in January 2026 at this spacious studio apt

We appreciated its large, well-equipped kitchen; in-unit washing machine and separate dryer; perfect location right in the heart of Oban for walking everywhere, yet removed from the street enough to be quiet; very comfortable leather recliners and expandable dining table. We visited for a week in the winter and the price was an excellent value. The central thermostat worked very well to keep us warm and cozy! The host was friendly and easy to communicate with during our stay.

WiFi signal was a bit unreliable, apartment could use its own dedicated signal, which should be possible since the equipment looks to be there. The wired internet, which the smart tv was attached to, worked very well.

A nicely appointed and convenient apartment

Despite the appearance of the hallways, the apartment itself was very nice, clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were very good. The location was excellent: in the town centre and within easy walking distance of many restaurants and the ferry terminal.

I’d hoped to be able to do laundry in the washer, but it wasn’t until the day I left that I learned where the washer was.

We travelled to Oban by car with our small baby and spent 3 days outside around Argyll & Mull.

Accessible, excellent kitchen facilities, laundry facilities, travel cot was provided, responsive host. A nice welcome gift on arrival. Comfortable bed. Great value for money

It was not clear where general waste (and recycling) were to be disposed of.

This stay was a surprise addition to our trip because of other unexpected circumstances so having this place be within walking distance of the ferry, easy to access independently and a washer and dryer, warm shower, wash cloths! (We are American) was wonderful.

If there could have been one pod of laundry soap it would have helped us out for the night.

Great apartment, very comfortable, peaceful, but so close to everything.

Very close to centre, but on a very quiet street so perfect. The apartment was spotless, cosy, really well set out, and the kitchen had everything you needed for breakfast & cooking evening meals. Very comfortable bed, and excellent shower. Local shops, pubs, restaurants are only a few minutes walk away. The information in the apartment's guide book was really helpful. Things to see and do, where to eat, etc..

Honestly couldn't fault it. Such a cute and cozy apartment. Clean, comfortable and really handy for pubs and restaurants. Everything you could need was provided and Ian was really reliable with communication both before and during our trip, which is always a plus. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
