Good location but small double bed small accommodation

A few little extras. Clean. Good location.

Small double bed. We struggled to sleep. There is room for a bigger bed. Suits a single person better as it is a smaller mini apartment at the back of a house. Towels a bit thin, and lock to door was difficult.

Perfect stay in perfect location.

The apartment was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and impressively functional. All equipment and amenities were of high quality. The location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk to the town centre—though do note that the return involves a slight uphill walk. For us, it was more pleasant than inconvenient. As the name suggests, it is a “wee house,” but it certainly doesn’t compromise on comfort or practicality. It was charming, convenient and comfortable.

Everything. The Wee Bank House had everything you need for a short stay in Oban. Easy to find, easy to park, very comfortable and well equipped. Short walk to the centre of Oban.

Good place to stay if you want to visit Oban and the Isle of Mull

Appartement is well equipped and pretty comfy! Host reacts quickly to our messages. The place was clean and we enjoyed the small attentions(complimentary drab of whisky, enough food for a few breakfasts, milk and water in the fridge) great location if you don't have a car as it's really not far from the center.

Bed is a little small and it is a bit pricey.

Lovely 'Wee' Gem

Right from the start, this stay was fantastic. The communication from Graeme and Lynne was terrific, and nothing was a problem. Directions to get to the house were spot on. The house itself was lovely and everything we needed. It was comfortable, bright and well equipped. It's beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. It was so peaceful you would not think you were not far from the middle of town. The welcome pack and dram were a fantastic added bonus! The thoughtfulness of the bottle of wine for our anniversary was very much appreciated. We had a brilliant time. Thank you and in good old Arnie style - "we will be back!"

Wee Bank House, an excellent stay!

It had a kitchen with all dishes included and a fridge. Had a good TV and sofa. Close walk to downtown and ferry port. The owners let me stay parked there until 12:00noon as we had a tour of Oban Distillery!

Just a little bit small but sufficient for two adults. I kept hitting my head on the doorway to the bedroom. The lock to the front door is finicky being hard to lock and unlock.

VERY small, not a house at all, not suitable for stays longer than one night.

Location - short walk into the main business area. Good size shower. Comfortable bed.

VERY VERY small. We were expecting a unit or small house, not a lean to, attached to the Owners main residence. No storage space for bags. It would be ok if you were staying one night and didn't have any luggage, but we stayed 3 nights and had to leave our bags in the car. No heating, heated towel rack or extractor fan in the bathroom, towels weren't changed so had wet towels for entire stay, bathroom very cold first thing in the morning. Heating was on a timer controlled from the main house, which turns on around 8.00am in the morning and off again early afternoon, very cold first thing in the morning. Kitchenette was extremely small, the Microwave takes up most of the kitchen bench with every other appliance, so other than making coffee we weren't able to prepare any food. Walk from the main street is up a steep narrow road, we were ok with the walk, but people with mobility issue should stay else where. Off street parking is via a narrow street and small entrance way, the driveway and parking area is shared with the Main house, and space further reduced with construction of another building and building supplies, we had a small car and found entrance and parking difficult. The driveway is gravel so when the Owners when out late at night, we were woken up by their car driving on the gravel, car doors being opened and shut and security lights from the main house turning on and shinning into the bed room. Not practical for stays longer than one night.

Great stay in very 'compact' accomodation

Excellent location. Very friendly hosts and the whole process of booking and arriving at the premesis was very easy and smooth. Having a parking space in the middle of Oban was a big bonus. The shower was excellent!

Great location for a stay in Oban

Fantastic location to explore Oban. Everything was provided that we could need for our short stay with clear instructions for finding the place before we arrived. The bed was very comfy and the shower was nice.

It was very, very wee. The door frame was low for my 6ft husband who had to remember to duck. The heating didn't come on until after 9pm so it was a bit chilly.

The Wee Bank House was in a great location in Oban. It was a ‘wee’ place but Graeme and Lynne had furnished it perfectly for the size and had everything we needed! Such thoughtful and detailed furnishings and decor! The owners were super nice which is always so comforting.

Perfect little house in a small quiet fishing town.

The wee house is newly decorated. It's very lovely in a great location in this small town. It has everything you need. The bed is comfy. I wholeheartedly recommend. The host surprised us with a welcome drink and a bunch of snacks.

Very nice but had to use the car because of the location.

Wee bank house is a charming place to stay with everything you need however there was no host contact at all.

The only downside was the location it was not far from center but too steep for people with mobility issues which I didnt see mentioned at all anywhere in the advertised property. That's the only reason i wouldn't return.

Lovely short holiday in Oban.

Great location, close enough to walk everywhere. Walked to Dunollie Castle, another interesting castle. Loved the little Scottish extras provided too. Hosts very helpful. Ideal for trips to small islands, including Mull, Staffa & Iona.

Exceptional

This is the most perfect wee house. It is undeniably small but it had everything we needed. It is also finished to a fantastic standard. Every piece of paintwork, silicon and grout was immaculate. Having private parling was wonderful as our car didn't move the time we were there. That says it all regarding location!
