The perfect place in Oban

The house was very Cozy. Jenny is a perfect host, she welcomed us on arrival, explaining everything clearly and presenting us the huge variety of amenities, rarely seen in a rented apartment such as Bath bombs, beauty masks, milk in the fridge and so on. The apartment was finely furnished and perfectly clear.

Nothing, all was over the expectations . I wish all the hosts would spend this much care in their apartment as Jenny!

New Year stay

Everything was perfect! Jenny and Mark were fantastic hosts. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise - breakfast cereal, muffins & croissants. Also, an array of teas, coffee pods, sugars, biscuits, crisps, milk and Oban chocolates.

All was great so no negatives at all.

An absolute gem of a place

The Mews was absolutely beautiful. Everything was perfect, Jenny and Mark both met us and were so welcoming and helpful. The attention to detail was unbelievable. We only stopped over for one night , but could've easily stayed for a week. Everything was decorated to a high standard, and the thoughtfulness was unbelievable. There were bath bombs, face masks and all sorts of toiletries in the bathroom. There was a variety of teas, coffee's, hot chocolates, not to mention, cereals, milk , muffins , crisps, chocolate and a bag of ice . Such lovely touches. I would highly recommend The Mews, and will definitely book , next time we're in Oban . Thank you Jenny and Mark x

Gorgeous, clean and cosy apartment in an ideal location!

Loved that the host left us essentials like milk, tea, coffee, sugar and a lovely breakfast basket with some cereals, croissants and muffins. The beds were very comfortable and the whole apartment was spotless! Ideal location only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Oban. Parking for 2 cars right outside was ideal and meant no extra cost to park in a public car park. For us women - a proper dressing area in the bedrooms with large mirrors each was perfect! Jenny was so lovely on arrival and had the apartment ready earlier for us which was much appreciated. We will definitely recommend this to our friends and family :)

The property was of a high standard with lovely added touches ie complimentary snacks & drinks. It was very cosy and clean and we couldn’t have wished for a better experience. Jenny was very welcoming and friendly too. The property was ideally located within walking distance of the town.

A well appointed, comfortable apartment in an ideal location for a visit to Oban

Excellent compared to other venues we have used. Obviously, considerable effort has gone into furnishing this apartment - all tastefully done and very comfortable.. The location is excellent for access to the town and adjacent free parking was a bonus. As we always eat out apart from breakfast and the occasional lunchtime snack, we cannot speak for the cooking facilities but all appeared modern and to a high standard.

There is nothing material that could have improved our stay. Unfortunately, these friendly hosts had no control over the weather!!!!

Spotlessly clean, thoughtful attention to the comfort of the guests. The extra touches that made us feel special. The local soaps, chocolates and provisions which were delightful and unexpected. A well equipped, modern property with added extras to make you feel at home. A great location in a quiet road to explore the town being a very short walk to the action. Very welcoming hosts and accommodating of our arrival time.

We did eat in and due to space the table had to be folded away at the end of every meal.

Our stay in Oban

Easy walking distance to shops & restaurants. Loved the box of basics left for us ie milk, cereal , crisps & chocolate.....so kind after a journey to not to have to stop to buy essentials. It was like home from home & our hosts were so friendly welcoming us & seeing us off. They even went the extra mile allowing us to leave our car on the drive whilst we walked into town for breakfast after checkout

Best Holiday Home

Very quiet, cosy, has everything you need to cook meals and feel at home. Owners provided tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks when we arrived. There are clear instructions for everything in the flat, and switches are labelled so you know what everything is for (which is so helpful in a new space!). The owners have clearly thought about what their guests need and how they will use the space. Close to the centre of town, the train station and ferry terminal, but tucked away so it was super quiet and cosy. I think this was the best holiday home we have ever stayed in, and we would stay again in a heart beat. An excellent base to explore Oban and the isles, we had a fantastic stay.

Very clear directions to property, very friendly, helpful host, good location with easy walking to shops and harbour. Very generous welcome package inc milk, breakfast items, tea and coffee. A lovely place to stay.

The sofa was a little too low for us and the dining chairs weren't very comfortable.

This place is great. Good use of space and lots of personal touches including some food and bathroom supplies. Kitchen well stocked for cooking. Beds were good. Easy to get into town by car or walking. Would recommend.

Fantastic stay at a lovely spot. Cosy and comfortable.

We were met by the owner on the Friday, outside the property, and he showed us round and told us all what we needed to know. He also said that if we did encounter any problems then his home was just a few doors away. Lots of nice extra touches like free toiletries and breakfast packs if needed.

Amazing place, very clean, modern and cosy. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and great outside patio area. We enjoyed our stay a lot and definitely will be back soon. Our host made us feel at ease and was very helpful.

Hosts went above and beyond to make the property comfortable and well-stocked. Unexpected amenities like washcloths, bath bombs and face masks in the bathroom, treats and snacks along with coffee and tea, and even provided milk and ice. Loved the outdoor seating area, layout of the apartment and great location for walking into town. Overall one of the best apartment rentals we've had; wish we'd had a longer stay.

Great wee cottage, and excellent value.

The property had everything you need and more, was modern, warm, clean and free parking. I am planning to return in the future with my family, this visit was for work. It is excellent value!

There was nothing I did not like, if I was to be overly fussy, a stronger shower, but if I had more time I could have used the large bath, beside the bath was a standing wine / ice bucket. Next time!
