Central Stay on Main st- Harbour Views

Its location. Within easy walking distance to bars and restaurants and of course the harbour. It was clean and comfortable and catered for all your needs.

The only drawback, for two 70 year old pensioners, was the shower. Which was not a big deal. It had only handles on bath but no handrail on wall to aid getting into shower. But as I say it was not a problem.

We stayed here as a family with two kids and had a very comfortable experience overall. The apartment is cosy, clean, and well-maintained. Its location is excellent – within walking distance to the harbour, shops, restaurants, the museum, and attractions like mc.Caigs Tower. Everything we needed was close by, which made travelling with kids much easier. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils and essentials, which was very convenient. There was also a washing machine and even a dryer (though it wasn’t advertised), which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were responsive and helpful with any queries we had, which we really appreciated.

The only downside – and unfortunately a significant one – was the hot water in the shower. Despite turning on the booster and waiting for 45 minutes to an hour, we were unable to get hot water. This was quite inconvenient, especially with children. If this issue were resolved, the stay would easily deserve a 10/10 rating. Overall, apart from the hot water issue, everything else about the apartment and its amenities was very good.
