Great wee venue

It's a very clean flat with good amenities. Very well kept and ideal location in the town. Communication from the vendor was excellent and kept us informed at all times of our arrival and departure. Easy access to the flat and local amenities.

The only grip we had was that there weren't any blinds or curtains up in the livingroom windows. It made us quite aware of neighbours looking in and no privacy.

Perfect Location

The location was excellent, everything close by but not noisy at all. The apartment was comfortable for 3 adults and we enjoyed our stay. Communication with owner was spot on covering everything we needed to know.

Nothing, could probably do with a coat of paint to freshen it up. A few extra touches would go a long way to making it a 10 - soap in the bathroom, coffee - there was tea and sugar.

Very good but could be better

Location

Bedding did not smell fresh, found items under and around the bedrooms indicating lack of care and attention to cleaning procedures, hole in wall in living room needs attention, kitchen was very well stocked with modern kitchenware but overall apartment needs an update and a little touch of modernity, that said the apartment was ideally situated and served its purpose extremely well despite the generally minor list of faults , enjoyed our stay immensely and would book again if the owner puts up some blinds or curtains in the living room.

Whole place needs decorating, lots of marks on walls. Black grout in the shower and bathroom light not working. No blind in main room and kitchen.

It was a lovely cozy wee stay at the Distillers Den. The location is amazing and nice to stay somewhere with some history.

The access is via a step set of steps which is fine if you are mobile.

Great location - just 2mins walk to the Harbour in Oban. Nice, well-equipped apartment including the kitchen with washing machine etc. Great Wifi as well, and a good TV - all very comfortable.

Quite a steep set of steps (inside the building) to get to the apartment - not a problem, but might be good to be aware for anyone with any mobility issues.

Enjoyable stay.

Great location. Easy to walk to McCaig Tower and the city. Comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed for our stay. Thanks for the washing machine! It was well utilised.

Stairs - wasn’t aware there were so many and we had a lot of luggage from a sailing journey to cart with us.

I loved the location, my mother lives there so we came to visit, can’t change the weather tho haha

I liked the property, everything was there that we needed

I hate this bit.. well the stairs are an issue but only if you can’t climb them. Floors are creaky but it’s an old building, I felt sorry for the people below. The living room needs a blind or curtains. Depends on taste, it personally didn’t bother me but it did my sister. And she was heavy on her feet incase anyone was blaming me!

A great central location and easy to find. A welcoming whisky when we arrived and the flat was a decent size too.

Parking was not easy though we managed to find some on street parking 4 min walk away. We didn’t particularly like Oban and felt everything was over priced (including the flat). The entrance is a bit ropey but inside the flat it is decent.

had a great few days in Oban despite the rain...

Great little apartment. Compact and cosy. Location perfect, just off the main shopping street and close to the harbour and promenade. Plenty of eateries and bars within walking distance. Perfect base to discover the surrounding area.

Narrow staircase up to the apartment so not for the infirm. parking could be an issue but I personally didn't have a problem. Bathroom door handle a little bit wobbly, needs to be tightened up.

The Den was absolutely perfect & immaculate throughout! The information conveyed to us for locating & accessing the property by the host Joe was spot on! The Den was also ideally positioned for visiting the local tourist spots, as well as the many Restaurants & Bars. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you!

-L'emplacement en plein centre ! -Le prix par rapport à la région -le séjour, spacieux Attention aux escaliers pour monter, super raides !!

-La literie !! Les lits sont petits, les matelas fatigués et les ressorts grincent à chaque mouvement... difficile de dormir ! -La propreté, passable, avec une odeur de renfermée à notre arrivée, qu'il est difficile de faire partir dans la 2eme chambre car elle est borgne, c'est une lucarne au plafond impossible à ouvrir, donc pas d'aération possible... Globalement, OK pour une nuit, mais les photos sont trompeuses et ne reflètent pas la réalité. Il ne s'agit pas d'ailleurs d'un bâtiment de la distillerie d'Oban mais d'un immeuble derrière.

Die Unterkunft liegt zentral in Oban, der Preis ist angemessen günstig. Das Wohnzimmer ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Einer der Schlafräume ist relativ groß, hat ein Fenster zur Straße.

Das zweite Schlafzimmer hat real betrachtet kein Fenster, es gibt lediglich weit oben ein schräges Dachfenster, was nicht geöffnet werden kann. Die Luft im Zimmer ist dann nachts schlecht, zumal bei geschlossener Tür. Die Handtücher waren fleckig. Die Wohnung in den Ecken dreckig. In der Küche gibt es für Selbstversorgung wenig Geschirr, vor allem Besteck und Töpfe (Kochen) oder Schüsseln (Salat) nicht in Anzahl oder ausreichender Größe für 4. Stadtblick ist etwas übertrieben, die Unterkunft liegt in einer Nebenstraße hinter dem Fish n Chips Laden, man schaut auf ein heruntergekommenes Haus oder in Hinterhöfe. Es ist okay, wenn man nur zu zweit oder mit einem Kind dort ist. Aber nicht für 2 Paar Erwachsene.

Flott beliggenhet i sentrum. Velutstyrt kjøkken. God seng, fin stue.

Svært lite og tungvint/trangt bad. Ingen plass til toalettartikler etc. Dårlig trykk i dusjen, inkl lekkasje fra dusjslangen. Det ene soverommet har kun takvindu. Lang smal trapp opp til leiligheten, så du må være frisk og sterk om du har mye/tung bagasje.
