Beautiful location and a lovely apartment, ideal for self catering, The views were fantastic, right on the water front and everything we needed was within easy walking distance.
My only critism is that for a 2 bedroom place the fridge should have been full sized and as mention in another review, the lack of hooks to hang washing and towels etc.

Location
The parking. Not clearly marked and so someone was parked in the space when we eventually located it, thanks to a resident in the adjacent block. No window or fan in the first bedroom makes it quite claustrophobic.

The location was great, directly across the road from the water, with a nice view (if it had stopped raining) I chose this accommodation as it provides a car space.
The towels were big and soft which is always nice. The apartment is literally maybe 5 minutes walk along the water and you are in the main street.
The BEST part of our 2x night stay was the meal we had at small Bar/ Restaurant to the left of the apartment (2min walk away) called "Coasters". My family of 3x had a 3x course meal each and it has so far been the best meals we have eaten since arriving in Scotland 2wks ago.
I would return to Oban just to eat at this place again. Excellent services, Excellent meals and Excellent atmosphere 10/10
Checking in was a DISASTER, this was booked last minute as it was showing as available. I provided my arrival time at the time of booking, though when we arrived I was told the apartment wasn't ready (we arrived just after 3pm) and told to go away and come back at 4pm. We did this but still had not been provided with the pin/code to access the lock box. For the next 2hrs we waited outside in the dark, cold and wet weather while I continuously rang and emailed the number provided with the booking. The number was diverted and over a dozens msgs were left plus emails sent. I then gave up and contanted Booking.com. after a total of 3hrs I was finally provided with a text with the pin to access the lock box. At the same time Booking.com emailed me telling me that the booking had been cancelled and had found me alternative accommodation. Since we had already accessed the apartment and bought our luggage in we decided to stay put. The property manager then call me and was so rude blaming the delay on Booking.com and then told me it was my fault for booking last minute. He then said to me "What's your problem your in now" if I wasn't travelling with my 80yr old mother I would have walked out and moved to the new accommodation that Booking.com had found.
The heaters in 1x of the bedrooms and the living did not work. I contacted the property manager that night and he said they were on a timer and do work. This was not true as neither heaters worked the two days we were. He did say he would send some around the next day to look at them but no one turned up.
Some cutlery in the drawers were dirty and therefore we had wash them before using them.
The lounge suite may look nice in the photos but was so uncomfortable resulting in a sore back.
Would we stay here again when visiting Oban NO we wouldn't.
