Excellent and Budget friendly with all amenities

Property was clean and well maintained. I has all the amenities like hair dryer, kettle, cloth iron etc.

Food and drinks are not allowed and It is a little far from the center. But the price is very reasonable.

Pakace Hotel to the rescue

We were offered a stay in the Palace Hote Oban whuch we accepted.Owner knew original property was unacceptable. Palace Hitel very comgortable and the host extrwmely welcoming anx friendly.

Room at the Palace Hotel was on 4th floir snd no lift buf that was better than going to 29 Dunollie

Do not stay

We arrived at the property 4.55, there was no response when we knocked on the door, so I called the number 6 times, no reply also sent a text message still no reply. They had already taken the payment. As it was getting late we had to find another guest house for the night at extra cost. They have refused a refund. Please can you let me know where I stand on this issue. Thank You.

The 1st appearance was not what we expected it is a block of council flats, and not sure if we were actually in the right place but that was the correct postcode. We knocked on the next door and they said it's run as an air b&b.

Lots of rules for the guests but no ability to resolve issues outside of the initial contact

The bedding was clean and fresh. the location was reasonably close to Oban. The location and building was quiet.

The wifi network listed in the room information was not available, let alone connecting Poor reception for phone Internet. The building was not accessible via the front door or by anyone answering the intercom...luckily a back door had been left open, otherwise we would not have been able to access our room

Nice clean flat, but up steep hill if walking.

Place was very clean, and beds were comfortable.

The location is not for everyone, as it is up a very steep hill if walking. There is however a bus that goes up there, but limited service. Taxi is around £5 - £6 from Oban town centre. We came in late Friday night after night out, and other guests? locked door completely. We had to rattle letter box to get in, as our key would not open door.

Great away stay when do I get my deposit back?

The town was beautiful and the people were very friendly. Livelier nightlife than I thought. Great views over the sea.

The details of how the booking works were a bit vague. I didn't know who had taken my £200 deposit from my bank account as I thought I would have to leave it with the hotel so I actually cancelled the booking on the website until I got a phone call back from the hotel saying that it gets taken from my account by the booking company. So we rapidly began our journey again but had to arrive late. I don't know when the deposit gets returned iether so that part was and still is at the moment stressful.

Disgusting

Absolutely disgusted it was a council flat I got a email to pick the key up at his place of work it had cameras all over the place and the owner slept there, there was a gang of lads upstairs in the flats fighting and making lots of noise it was worst than a hostel there was no mention of anything on booking.com

This property was unavailable despite it being listed on your website. It and the entire block it is part of was being renovated and was covered in scaffolding. The fact that the property was still being advertised is not proper; the woners must have known it was out of action for many weeks. An alternative was provided but this is not the way to do things. I felt conned.
