Lovely House with Everything You Need!

Lovely home with every amenity you can wish for. Very comfortable and super clean. We found the apartment tricky to find in the dark after a very long and tiring day but our hosts were so kind and went out of their way to get us there safely - we really appreciated their patience!

It was far away enough from town centre to be peaceful yet within easy reach. It was dog friendly with a walk right outside front door!

Excellent home and some great touches by the hosts. Simply fantastic.

The location from the back of the property is misleading through GPS. However the front of the property is excellent and then you walk into a fantastic one bedroom property with all that you need. A total surprise and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Notwithstanding the weather there is nothing that we did not like. A walk into town was also great and so a perfect location. We always passed through Oban for the Mull but this time we did get to see some of the sights. The stay made it perfect.

A wonderful short stay at Dun-Niall

Property was very spacious for a couple and 2 small dogs. The place was spotlessly clean and only a small walk down into Oban town. The welcome gifts of small selection of sweets and a glass of whiskey each was a nice touch and hugely appreciated.

Nice part of Oban.

Great little house, good sized rooms, footpath outside that is a pleasant walk down to town and fish n chip shops etc. McCaigs folly is a short walk from the house. We stayed in five cottages/hotels in Scotland this month, and this was the best. Would come back.

Bit difficult to find as the front of the house is downstairs, our entrance was round the back and actually the upstairs of the house.

Home from home (but possibly cleaner)!!

The facilities were absolutely outstanding! The large attractive kitchen had an amazing array of equipment, all good quality! Every day essentials, tea, coffee, a cupboard full of washing/cleaning products. Having a washing machine was very helpful as this was out 2nd week away (and the soap was supplied too)! For anyone wanting accommodation in Oban, this is really first class. Absolutely spotless and beautifully appointed. The welcome 'wee dram ' with small cut glass decanter and glasses plus chocolates was very welcome! Anyone booking Dun Niall can expect a great holiday apartment. I should add that the lounge and bedroom were very comfortable and bedding and towels of top quality. Thank you Louise for providing such a great and welcoming venue.

Lovely cosy, clean apartment. Smelt so clean & fresh when we walked in. Had everything we needed & was only a short walk in to Oban. The owner left some lovely nibbles & a wee dram if you fancied some! Would definitely use again & recommend to friends & family.

The only thing was the mattress was a little hard but that’s a personal thing I guess.

Beautiful stay at Dun Niall

Beautiful dog friendly apartment with terraced balcony, in a great location for Oban town centre and walk to McCaigs Tower. Apartment was immaculate, comfortable, spacious, peaceful and everything you’d need for your stay. The welcome basket with macaroon, tablet, shortbread etc and wee tipple was a lovely touch. Hosts were great with communication and easy check in and check out. Sadly we were only staying one night to visit our friends art exhibition but would love to come back and stay longer. Thank you for a perfect stay. Ps Can highly recommend the Oban Seafood. Oysters and Scallops were delicious down at the main pier just before the Ferry Terminal building.

I can only echo the excellent reviews posted by others. We loved Dun Niall.

Location was perfect. It was lovely and quiet, yet access into town was just a short stroll along the path from the house.

The description of how to access the property could have been clearer, especially that the entrance and parking is at the rear of the property and the vehicle access road has a very tight angle from the main road and can really only be negotiated from one direction.. Otherwise, there was nothing not to like.
