The unit has an amazing kitchen for such a small space - full respect for the design and execution here. The unit was otherwise clean and functional, and overall nicely appointed.
The room is tiny - barely enough room to turn around - the bed takes up most of the space, and there is limited space for one's belongings. The door to the bathroom sticks and his hard to open and close. All of this would be tolerable if it weren't for the location of the unit; ground floor with only a window between you and a somewhat unattractive part of downtown. The street outside is lined with rubbish bins; all night long, passersby were using the bins, and slamming the lids; this subsided around 4 am, but picked-up again as neighbors dumped their rubbish while leaving in the morning. There must have been a pub nearby - loud and drunken people were shouting and stumbling up the street (the window on the street needs soundproofing glass). Car doors were slamming, trucks were going by. The neighborhood is questionable - I was afraid to walk our dog. There were odd people lurking in the small woods behind near the Tesco. Litter everywhere - broken bottles, other dog's feces. Made me wonder where the neighborhood pride is. The point is, if you're a light sleeper or easily disturbed by sounds, this is not the place for you. One of the worst night's sleeps we've had. I appreciate what the owner is trying to do here, but this is by no means a peaceful getaway. It is a clean, functional unit for maybe one night, if you can't find anything else. On a small side note, the parking pass machine hasn't worked in months - according to a neighbor, so even if you want to park in front for a couple of hours, it's a risk - you can't pay. Sorry to have to say all of this.

The location was very good, just a quick journey by car or foot to the ferry and central Oban. There was always parking available after 6 . ( be aware that parking costs from 9-6 and you can’t park longer than 2 hours during this time )
It is extremely small - it was advertised as a one bed apartment with garden- we felt duped - it is a tiny place with just a small bedroom with a tiny sofa, then a kitchenette on the side and a tiny tiny bathroom.
The garden is not accessible from the apartment without going out the front door into a communal hall and then opening the back door.
The front main door from the street did not close properly or lock, and the communal hall was filthy.
There is an ill fitting door to the bathroom and there is only minimal storage space .
There was a two ring stove top but no pots to be able to use it.
There was only a blind in the bedroom and this let lots of light in and also didn’t feel too private as you can see in to the bedroom from the street if you wanted to look in through the gaps in the blind.
The lighting is really harsh and not very relaxing and there is no bedside tables etc to put your tea cup or phone etc.
Also there is no £5 per day parking permit - it’s just on street parking with restrictions.
We were really disappointed by this property

Excellent situation in Oban.. Right in the centre
Easy access to apartment.. Key etc. Good info given.
No curtains, just blinds. Street light illuminating the bedroom.
Parking info not clear. You can park from 6pm to 9am free, but otherwise is about £1.20 per hour.. Max 2 hours. Confusing. Apparently can park in a near carpark.
Garden access involves leaving apartment and going down corridor to door into back yard.
No info re Oban in apartment.
No milk available

Clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. Also very central
With it being directly facing into the street, I might’ve preferred a proper curtain to make sure people couldn’t see in.

Close to town, modern
Very small and not much room for our two full size suitcases
Double bed too small
Noise from road when window open
Our check in was a mess. Another couple had already been given the access code and had checked in, had a nap on the bed and used facilities. When we arrived and met them we rang the given number and were told to make them leave and we had to deal with this upsetting situation! The older couple were most distressed ( they had booked for 2026 rather than 2025 accidentally but had still been given the code a year ahead!) when we asked for an hour later for check out it was denied. Poor customer service. Be wary about staying here when access code is given out a year ahead!

Location near town center
Very small, entrance was dirty and front and back doors were always open!

Close to the center and ferry
basic amenities present, nothing special for the price. Space is a bit cramped, disturbing noise from the street and snoring neighbours. Garden seating next to the garbage bins is a far cry from the idylic pi
ctures advertised.

The apartment was modern & clean
Open the main door & it was filthy , the communal garden was a disgrace & on the advertising page, it stated parking £5 a day , my husband is disabled & had to either go back & pay £2.40 every 2 hours or walk miles for the car !

Very clean and had been modernised. Enjoyed the apartment and had everything we needed for our stay.
No long stay parking close by to apartment as far as we could see

Great location. Had everything we needed for a nights stay.
Black out blinds would have been better and another pillow each :)
