Small Cosy Studio Flat Near the Sea, Central Oban

Good location. Thoughtful wee extras to make your stay a home from home.

Flat was ready on arrival at 3pm with lights on & fire screensaver in TV. A nice touch. Such a quirky & cosy wee flat. So much attention to detail. Had everything we needed including crockery, glassware, cookware, cutlery & utensils. Bed was so comfy. Slept like a log. Loved the huge fluffy bath towels. Shower was great and plenty hot water. We did not find it small. Board games were such a nice touch. So sorry we were only there for a night. Hope to return. Would definitely recommend a stay here. A few minutes walk from the town centre. Easy to find.

Nothing really not to like - no dish cloth to wash dishes or tea towel to dry them. Wasn’t a big deal though.

The apartment is comfortable and cosy on a quiet and very safe feeling street not far from everything in the sweet town of Oban. All clean and newly renovated, with a very well equipped kitchen. It would have been great to stay long enough to cook there. There is a little natural foods shop a couple of doors down and a large supermarket in walking distance.

Communication was initially friendly and welcoming. Then the owner arrived pounding at the door on the first day there, when I badly needed to rest, wanting to get in for something to do with the water meter. His angry attitude was really unnecessary. He never tried to reach me through the booking messaging system. I had lost the SIM card for the phone number on record, but was still very reachable on WhatsApp or through booking’s messaging. If it were up to me, I’d decorate with fewer small cute items and throw pillows and add a stand for opening luggage on. The blue shower gel was unappealing.

Small ground floor flat with hardly any daylight getting into the flat . Disappointing as weather was beautiful and sunny , but flat was extremely dark with no bright outlook. On arrival, hosts had left on three lamps in an attempt to brighten the flat but on a gorgeous summer day this seemed a waste of time. The bathroom was small and the sink was far too small to be practical. Overall the flat could do with an update to everything .
