Would book again

Perfect location for overnight stop near ferry terminal and train/bus terminus. Easy walk to supermarket. Didn't expect a welcome pack for an overnight stay but host had left some fruit, milk and cereal. Very clean and comfortable and host was very helpful when we had a few questions.

Lovely , shame about location.

Place was beautiful inside , so clean and modern beds were spotless and so comfortable too.

The location wasn’t the best it was like a block of council flats … but it was quiet enough but not ideal and it’s a shame because the flat was beautiful! The owners have done a fantastic job of the inside .

A stylish, comfortable base right by town.

Beautifully put together with lovely furnishings, comfy beds and a great sitting area. The bathroom was fab with thoughtful touches throughout and everything felt good quality. Excellent location close to town. Handy parking outside at night and the Tesco car park by day. All good.

We would be very happy to return on another visit

Extremely comfortable apartment with everything you could need. We slept soundly. We found the later check out time extremely helpful. Travelling with a person who has mobility difficulties, can be so stressful having to make early departures.

It might’ve been helpful to have a working light in the stairwell. We could not find an instruction booklet for the induction hob, which meant we had a very late dinner

Immaculately presented apartment

An immaculately presented apartment within walking distance of the heart of Oban. The kitchen was well stocked and there were even some small boxes of cereal available. The bathroom was clean, the shower had good pressure and there was a wide selection of soap, shampoo, body lotion etc available.

Looks can be deceiving, we were a bit uncertain from the look of the outside of the row of flats, but it was immaculate inside. Other than that can't fault it. The instructions said it is on the first floor, in some countries the ground floor is the first floor - this flat is up one flight of stairs

Great overnight stay

Excellent quiet location, spotlessly clean and well equipped with lots of little extras. Super comfortable bed with good quality bedding. Sofa bed good also. Great place to stay overnight before catching the ferry the next day. Would definitely recommend and we would stay there again.

Everything was provided, it was so clean and up to date, the host was very helpful and attentive. We have been travelling for weeks and it was the first time we could cook somewhere.

Comfortable and in a convenient location for train, ferry and Tesco

This apartment was very comfortable - especially the mattress. It has obviously been recently - and carefully - refurbished which made it good base. The location isn't in a tourist zone but is great for the ferries and Tesco.

The crockery is so big and stylish it does not fit in the dishwasher (but that's a minor problem!)

So good that I booked to return next year before I checked out this time.

Beautifully done out with very high quality fixtures and nice little touches. The location was excellent for someone travelling on public transport with bus station, food shops,train station and ferry port all within 5 minutes walk

If I was being very picky, the entrance to the apartment block and the stairwell were a bit tatty but that had no impact on my stay it just really didn’t reflect the beautiful apartment once inside.

It was decorated exceptionally well, was clean, very well equipped and had everything you'd need for a stay. Was nice to be able to sit out on the small balcony. It was very close to town.

Great stay

The property was on a quiet backstreet, but just a couple minutes walk into the main town, which was very busy. There is parking on the street that is paid until 6 PM. From 6 PM until 9 AM It is free. The apartment is very spacious. The host left us some basic breakfast supplies, which is very nice. There is a grocery store just behind the apartment is only about a two minute walk.

Very lovely stay would recommend

Lovely flat. Great attention to detail- immaculately clean, stylish and well thought out. Everything we needed was there. Easy to walk into centre and to ferry terminal. Tesco Extra very handy and open 7am until 11pm. Guest Info very helpful. Double bedroom wonderful with loads of wardrobe space, big comfortable bed according to my friend.

Not really dislikes just observations-Parking outside is limited to 4 hours during the day so we needed to park elsewhere during the day, this could be expensive if you couldn’t find a free spot. The entry stairwell to the flat is dark and a little off putting at first. No issue at night as there were automatic lights. The sofa-bed needs a thicker mattress topper so you can’t feel the join/ridge in the middle. I put a spare duvet under the protector and slept much more comfortably on the second night. Some hanging hooks in the box room would be very useful. Rain water shower is great but the smaller headed shower wouldn’t stay up!

Extremely clean and well presented. Everything in the kitchen you’d need. Tesco’s a short walk away super convenient location. If you have a plug in car Tescos next door has charging points, which is a 4 mins walk from apartment. Washing machine and all things available to wash clothes including a heated drying rack.

Wir fühlten uns wie zuhause

Eine absolut schöne, saubere, gemütliche Ferienwohnung. An jede Kleinigkeit wurde gedacht. Im Kühlschrank war frische Milch, Kaffeekapsel standen bereit, Kakao, Tee. Küchenrolle, Spülmittel, Küchenhandtücher, Spülschwamm etc etc. So viele kleine Details an die man bei einer Ferienwohnung denken muss. Bei der Ankunft netten Kontakt mit den Nachbarn, die bei der Schlüsselbox halfen. Tesco Superstore ist über einen Fußweg nur einen Steinwurf entfernt. Auch der Bahnhof und das Fährterminal sowie die Uferpromenade sind in 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Ruhige Straße. Wenn wir wieder nach Oban kommen (hoffentlich bald), hoffen wir, dass die Wohnung wieder zu haben ist.
