No 1 Westbay Apartment

Nice property in a fantastic location with a great view. Apartment was clean, though there were a few stains on the furniture. It was great to have a parking spot in this busy town, but it was very tight and would have been difficult if we hadn’t had a smallish car.

There was no guest information folder. There was a washing machine, but no line or rack to hang wet items on. As we were staying for two weeks, we would have appreciated a change of linen in the middle as we have received at other properties. This was not offered. There was no guidance on what to do with rubbish (or recycling) which filled up a bit over two weeks. We emailed the contact we had been provided to ask about the above things, but did not receive a response. With a few adjustments this could be a five star property.

The view from the main room was fantastic - overlooking the entire bay! The apartment was surprisingly quiet but close enough to walk into town and the harbour. The high ceilings and big windows made the place feel light and airy. The kitchen was very well equipped. Free parking in front of the apartments was a bonus.

View, location (Dunollie but I would call it Oban if I was advertising it, I only found it by map search), size, washing machine, cleanliness, free car park (but glad our car was small not really suitable for large vehicles).

Would like to have had a hairdryer available (this wasn’t listed but only realised when couldn’t find one)
