Amazing spot in Oban. If you’re reading this before you book, plan for a couple days in this wonderful cabin in this wonderful town, so much to explore. Great host and facilities and a 5 minute walk into the town centre. Will definitley be back.

A cute cabin overlooking the best of Oban

We really enjoyed our stay at this little cabin overlooking the bay. It provided easy access to walk to the waterfront and into the Oban city center. The views over the water were great, especially at sunset. There is a small trail that provides easy access down the hill. Morag and her family were welcoming and kind hosts. The cabin is comfortable, with a large shower, lots of towels, a comfortable bed, a nice sofa, and a small, functional kitchen. We also enjoyed the patio with chairs on a sunny afternoon. The WiFi worked well during our stay. There is a private parking spot off the street, which was nice for our rental car. We stayed for 3 nights, but could have enjoyed more!

Very relaxing stay in Oban

Morag met us on arrival and made us very welcome. The unit had everything we needed for a four night stay and was very comfortable. The view from the cabin is outstanding.

Perfect for a couple, first class accommodation!

The location , it is really close to Oban town centre and the view of the bay was amazing, we sat out for breakfast each morning to watch the boats go by. Morag was lovely and welcoming and the cabin itself is gorgeous. Welcome dram much appreciated too ☺️

Little Bay Cabin cozy and comfortable

This little one-room cabin was very cozy and comfortable. The windows open for fresh air at night and the bed was very comfortable. We were traveling for a month staying in numerous accommodations and I got my best sleep in this little cabin! The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, plates and glassware for cooking and enjoying our own meals. The hosts even left a wee dram, very thoughtful. The view, although through the car park was beautiful. The location was very close to the center of Oban, with a pleasant walk through a nature area to reach the city center.

There was nowhere to put away clothes or luggage. We ended up using the large L shaped sofa as a luggage rack, which made for a bit of a mess. I would recommend a smaller sofa and maybe a small chest of drawers between the sleeping a living area. Otherwise, we loved the cabin.

Excellent place to Stay with wonderful views

A lovely cabin looking right over Oban Bay, a little gem surrounded by woodland and only a 10 minute walk to almost everything in Oban centre about 12 minute walk to train station and ferry terminal. Facilities very clean with added bonus of car parking outside the cabin. Morag was an excellent host and very informative of what is going on around Oban would definitely stay again.

Great spot in Oban

It was only a few minutes walk from where I needed to be that evening in Oban. I'm not that mobile, but I was able to get down the steps and across to the restaurant in about 15 minutes. Walking back it was well lit too.

The room scent was a little over-powering for me, but not a deal breaker. The bathroom is arms length from the bed, which is fine for one person, but if travelling with a friend, might not be so good. Again, it's not a problem for me as I was travelling alone.

Highly recommend. Location had amazing view. Only 3 min walk to closes Pub/restaurant (Markie Dans). Downtown was only 5-8 min walk along the water. Everything was clean and modern and Big enough space for my wife and I. Morag was very welcoming and we even fell in love with her cat Lilly, who greeted us everyday. Will definitely stay here again next time in Oban.

Little Bay Cabin - a perfect place to enjoy Oban.

Perfectly positioned for access to town. Everything was spotless and Morag had thought of every little extra to make our stay welcoming and comfortable even down to a couple of nips of Oban whiskey to warmly welcome us! The view out to sea from the front porch was magical and we enjoyed the serenity. Thanks for a great stay. Highly recommend and hope to be back one day.

Love Little Bay Cabin, love Morag, love Lily, love Oban.

Comfortable and well equipped little cabin located very close to all the amenities of Oban, yet set within a wooded area. The generous patio was also really nice for enjoying the spectacular view. The host, Morag, is wonderful, so welcoming, generous and absolutely charming. We also love the ginger cat, Lily, who is part of the welcoming committee.

There is nothing to dislike! A washer dryer might be helpful because I can imagine how helpful it would be for guests wanting to stay a little longer in charming Oban.

Wonderful place to stay!!

The little bay cabin was my favorite place I stayed on my 3 week vacation traveling thru the UK. The hostess was so friendly and helpful on things to do and see. The town of Oben was only a 3 min walk with lots of shops and restaurants. The cabin which is like a modern studio apartment with all amenities was overlooking the bay. Perfect and beautiful place to stay for a few days.

A lovely little cabin with all the facilities needed for an overnight stay. It is situated in a super position with great views and walking distance from the shops and restaurants.

Excellent view, small clean cabin. Good location to the town. Host was friendly. All facilities worked well.

Bottom sheet on bed looked and felt like a mattress protector. No coffee plunger, maybe should supply one for the price per night. We bought one for £15. Lighting over the stove was non existent. Too many cushions for the size of property. No where to store your luggage so we could live out of suitcase. Space was tight for our 6 nights.
